This book is a goldmine for beginners who are serious about starting an SEO business. The 30-step lessons on running an SEO business are incredibly detailed and on point. I've experienced half of his shares and can attest to its accuracy and usefulness.

Excellent actionable advice
I've been running an SEO business for a while now, and there was still plenty in this book that I found useful. Gotch knows what he's talking about. If you're just getting started or you're looking to scale your SEO business, this is definitely worth reading.

For anyone willing to start his online business journey:
I highly recommend this book, the first part is very helpful for anyone who wants to build a brand online, Nathan explains how to market a service/ brand online.
Later on the book, Nathan explains how to do SEO, the simple way, no complicated terms or concepts, very easy to digest and apply.
At the end of the book, the author shares his experience and lessons he took from it.
As an SEO enthusiast I really enjoyed reading the book, not only because of the subject covered, but also because of the blueprint for online success.
Again, I recommend this book to any beginner in the online business space.

I don't write many reviews on Amazon, but this book deserves one.
Whether you're a beginner and don't have a business yet or you're already a full professional and even firmly established in the SEO segment, this book will help you develop. It gives you tips that you as an entrepreneur can integrate into any business. Of course, the SEO aspect is the most prominent here, because it's all about SEO ;)
As I have also just started my own SEO company (as a sole trader), I was still a bit shy and didn't have much confidence in myself. Thanks to this beauty, I was able to win my first customers with ease.
It really does give you a blueprint. You can implement it step by step and see your first successes within a very short time.
I can highly recommend this book to any entrepreneur, whether as an SEO expert or in other segments.

I've been working in Agency settings for about 6 years after being generally self-taught on Digital Marketing and SEO for a total of 13 years. I wasn't sure how much I'd gain from this book, but I'm SO glad I read it.
Nathan doesn't write fluff and has some insanely good, actionable recommendations to work on immediately and consistently throughout the book.
While some items were fairly basic, he did open my eyes to opportunities I hadn't yet considered for my own business. For those that made sense, I didn't wait for perfection, I just began implementing with the idea I could perfect as I go (just like many entrepreneurs do, right?).
It's a quick, easy, actionable read - with a few tweaks for modern SEO, quite the jumpstart!

There aren't many SEO-related books out there, so as an aspiring SEO entrepreneur myself, I was thrilled to find out about this book and how it was written by such an authority figure that I've seen around on the internet several times throughout my self-education.
I didn't know exactly what to expect from this book going into it, but I really appreciate how it covers both the business side of SEO and the actual service fulfillment side of SEO with rather technical details. On the business side of things, you really get to indirectly absorb all of Nathan's lessons and experience from over the years. It really gave me a lot of clarity regarding how I want my own SEO business to operate. On the service fulfillment side of things, Nathan does a great job explaining and teaching the objectively effective tactics around on-page, off-page, and technical SEO without even remotely promoting any controversial tactics that you hear about from some other players in the industry.
Overall, I would 100% recommend this book to any aspiring SEO entrepreneurs. Regardless of your knowledge of or experience in the industry, you'll undoubtedly take at least something from this book that will help you on your journey.

Super book if you are an SEO or digital marketing professional and want to get more info on the business side of the house. The book is more of a guide for taking your game from being a freelancer to running it as a business. Super good info. I would also highly recommend following the author on YouTube. I've learned a TON from him over the years and it's helped me grow my own business. I have 4 copies of the book at 4 different locations. :)

The SEO Entrepreneur” van Nathan Gotch was precies wat ik nodig had als startende ondernemer. Zijn schrijfstijl is prettig om te lezen en het voelt niet als een typisch taai boek vol droge stof. De strategieën zijn helder, toepasbaar en motiverend. Dankzij de inzichten heb ik met mijn startende onderneming een stevige basis kunnen leggen. Een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een praktische handleiding met alle ins en outs om als SEO-ondernemer te beginnen.

Information is good, format is terrible
Not sure why this book acts like a PDF instead of an actual Kindle ebook, but it's incredibly frustrating to read and navigate. Unable to take notes, highlight, or change text size.
Gotch is a great educator. Just frustrated I'll have to buy the physical version to enjoy his insights.

It’s a good book if you have some idea about SEO and want to start a business in it. But Nathan is a true positive minded entrepreneur and that’s not something everyone is. I think when you want to make your first steps, this book will certainly guide you in the right direction. For SEO the best school is to just do it, start your own site and learn and practise 😉
