While captivating, there are only 4 or so moments of action that I can recall in this mass of 400 pages. So much little detail happens in between. Granted, it was difficult for me to put down, but there was so little build up to the end. It was written in the same, mostly boring way of journal entries until the climax where it got exciting. I cannot help but think that Mr Stoker wrote a book about some people who got caught up in vampire hunting as opposed to a story about killing Dracula.
