Jerri Chisholm is a YA author, a distance runner, and a chocolate addict. Her childhood was spent largely in solitude with only her imagination and a pet parrot for company. Following that she completed a master's degree in public policy and then became a lawyer, but ultimately decided to leave the profession to focus exclusively on the more imaginative and avian-friendly pursuit of writing. She lives with her husband and three children, but, alas, no parrot.

I started reading this trilogy on a Saturday night and finished the whole thing by Wednesday morning. It starts with Alex and it’s time for her to find out what will be her career and who will be her husband because Enero Aurora
Those things are designated by a computer that researches the chip in your head to see what would and who would most suits you. Alex just know she will either be a pilot a pianist or a librarian she has spent most of her life studying these threepursuits. So when she find out she will be the handmade in to Vi count wolf… To say she is baffled would be an understatement. Regardless you must do what the government says so off to Strath Glenn she goes. Life in the castle is it all she thought it would be the royal family with the exception of wolfs sister EV seems to have nothing but distain for what they called the choir rat. As far as the king goes he gives her a Cheshire cat smile with lots of side eye even though it was his system that placed her there. Before long while in the stables she finds a scroll telling her essentially that the computer has glitches from time to time and that she is right when she says the computer was wrong on her placement and she is even given to other names of those associated with a computer glitch. This will not be the first scroll she finds in the stable but it will be the one that begins all the trouble Alex seems to get in. It doesn’t help that her fiancé Wolf is stand offing and although they share a moment when he finds her in the woods and he panics and acts unlike the Wolf Alex‘s come to know. At the end of book one wolf ask Alex to completely trust him and then totally does something someone who is trustworthy wouldn’t do. There’s no way I could give a good review of this trilogy without giving key plot points away so what I will say is Alex also notices the Queen isn’t acting herself and princess Aubrey is expecting but not for dear Matthew although that is what they want the public to think. It seems if someone defies or goes against the king he overrides their chip and pretty much makes them act the way he wants them to and this includes his own wife the queen who at times can act like a space cadet. Over the three books Alex and her friends set a plan a foot and while this is happening she knows or believes that wolf is a yes-man to the king his uncle and his second in command due to the fact the king son Jamie is a complete buffoon he also seems to be completely in love with Alex. She will come to find out secrets about her betrothed the king and life at the palace in general it also seems someone is starting a rebellion and Alex finds out she may just know this person. When they attend her best friend Agnes‘s wedding she sees a side to wolf she would’ve never expected. The third book goes really fast or at least it did for me. I think I would’ve liked a little more sweet Ness between wolf and Alex but I think the author did a stellar job keeping his cards close to his chess and the big reveal I absolutely enjoyed this book I have never read a trilogy that fast in my life but OMG was it so worth it I even spent Christmas reading it it was that good. I loved Misur, Alex, her aunt, Eavy and so many others in the book they’re truly lovable characters in an even more awesome book! Please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.
