There were some good bits here and there, but unfortunately the overall plot that was set up in pervious books didn't make sense to me here. There are also multiple point of view shifts. For example, the POV changes mid-Chapter from 3rd person to 1st person (same character!). It completely threw me out of the story. There were too many short scenes and nothing was explored in satisfying detail. I recommend you check out the author's other works, there are some real gems there.
