About the author

Shéa MacLeod

Shéa MacLeod has dreamed of writing novels since before she could hold a crayon. She totally blames her mother.

Her favorite poem as a child was ‘Jabberwocky’, and Her favorite authors were Agatha Christie and Edgar Allan Poe. Which probably explains a lot.

After a six year sojourn in London, England, a dearth of good donuts has driven her back to her hometown. She now resides in the leafy green hills outside Portland, Oregon where she indulges in her fondness for strong coffee, Ancient Aliens reruns, lemon curd, and dragons.

Because everything's better with dragons.

Shéa is the author of the SUNWALKER SAGA (a fast paced urban fantasy series with a kick-ass heroine published by Montlake) and DRAGON WARS (a post-apocalyptic series with dragons)as well as the Cupcake Goddess novelettes.

Lássuk is a következő részt. 4/5⭐️

Another cozy and fun part of the life of Juniper Jones and the residents of Miracle Bay. Of course, a corpse turns up (as it usually happens in these small towns, see Cabot Cove for example) and maybe your mother will appear and have something to do with it, and also with a bank robbery, but that's just life in a magical small town. As a negative, I would mention that there were quite a few typos in the text and some not very logical conclusions, but overall it was an enjoyable read. Let's see what the next part holds for us. 4/5⭐️

I wanted to love this book because I love the first three and wanted to continue. And while the story answers a bunch of questions, there were a lot of details that got mixed up. It was almost as though this was a draft done before the first three books were written. But even some of the detailed in this book switched after a couple pages like no one edited it.
Clothing that's mentioned multiple times changes from a pencil skirt to a flowy dress. At one point one of the sidekicks is named something wrong. Still an e-name but not the one that they have. And one thing that I consider major plot point is, spoiler, when they're holding Leroy hostage he goes from being watched by inky and Elvira and suddenly is under police custody at the hospital and they just let him go.

3 stars. Digital book.
Unsure what happened here.? At the end of the last book we clearly established JJ’s mother’s side had magic but throughout this entire book we have somehow forgotten that. Names got mixed up, there were a few plot holes; just not what I was getting used to with the previous books. Hopefully the next is better.

Mommy issues. Hilarious and relatable. I love the relationships the main character has with literally every character.
