The story of 3 brother goats who want to graze in a nice pasture. The only issue is a mean troll lives under the bridge they would have to cross to get there. When the smallest brother crosses the troll tries to eat him but the brother says to wait until his older brother comes across as he would be a much better meal. When the middle bother walks across he pleads with the troll to eat the biggest brother. The biggest brother throws the troll off the bridge and the brother all get to eat in peace. This would be a good story to read and teach that bullying gets you nowhere in life. Would also be a good book to act out in a readers theatre with multiple easy characters to use.

Three billy goats were trying to cross a bridge to better feeding grounds, but the troll underneath the bridge wanted to eat them. Each goat said that the next goat coming would be much more to the troll's liking. The final billy goat had long horns and threw the troll into the river. This story can teach children that you should not always wait for something better to come around, because you can get burned in the end.

When he is tricked into waiting for the last brother, little does he know that the size would be his demise. Soon the trolls is disposed and the billy goats Gruff graze on both sides of the bridge.

I have never actually read this book before. It was interesting! It is about three billy goats that are trying to cross a bridge where a troll leaves. The first two goats tell him to wait because their bigger brother is coming, so he does. However, when the biggest goat goes across he hits the troll of the bridge and crosses. Overall, this book had good illustrations and was fun to read.

This was an interesting book! I have never heard this story before, but it was actually pretty good. The three billy goats have to cross a bridge, but it is not as easy at it seems. This is a classic story that many children read. This is a great book that can show children to be brave and have courage when doing something they are scared of.

Little do they know, a terrifying troll lies underneith the bridge. This book would be great to show students that bravery and courage are key elements that are important to possess.

Three billy goats walking across a bridge, outsmart the nasty troll that lives underneath. This is a great predictable text, and many activities involving sequencing would go great with reading this classic book. I would have students do Readers Theatre or create a play enacting this book.
