Definitely better than the last book. The romance build up was slower, but the secondary plot was solid.

Helping a family in need, an actress comes to town and is amazed that they're are truly kind, caring and helpful people and that it isn't just in the movies. Another feel good book in the series.

another cute love story in cozy town
It’s so nice when the down home guy finds his love. Valerie may be a movie star but she is very human- friendly, patient etc. one confusing part was the book said she grew up in Montana and moved to LA when she was 18 but Valerie always says she grew up in California. Other than that it is an innocent love story with plenty of visits from characters of previous books. Snowy Pine Ridge is a perfect little community filled with loving and caring people.

Actress Valerie Bernard decides to go to Snowy Pine Ridge, a small town where her deceased mother had once spent time and loved. She finds her career has slowed down now that she is in her thirties, and needs to get away and ponder her future away from the "big city". Meeting hardware store owner Clark Mitchell proves to be a pivotal point in her quest to "find herself". This series is delightful and I like meeting up with characters from the previous books and getting to know new ones. I really appreciated the mysterious element in the plot. Christmas is so sweet in this book and people who want to help others represent the true spirit of the holidays.

The two hit it off and Valerie was fitting in here and making real friends . She is a famous actress so she has changes to make if she stays. Clark will take her anyway he can! Does it work out?

As always, Fiona Baker writes sweet stories that are good for the heart.
It was nice running into the other characters of the town of Snowy Pine Ridge.
If you are like me and you like a feel good love story that makes you feel good without being maudlin or too ridiculously sappy - then you won’t go wrong picking up one of Fiona Baker’s books in the Snowy Pine Ridge Series. If you start with this one- don’t worry- you can always go back and read them in any order you like.

Clark and Valerie
I enjoyed reading and catching up with characters from Snowy Pine Ridge and meeting some new arrivals. I like how they all seem like family and support each other in whatever their lives are like. I enjoy feeling like I know them and like we’ve become friends. I like that even though life is slow and easy it seems fun and exciting. I’m confident you’ll like A Cozy Christmas Escape.

The premise of this novel in the Snowy Pine Ridge series concerned me, but it is one of the my two favorites in the series. Valerie Bernard is a burned-out 30-year-old movie star tired of the constant scrutiny she is under. Clark Mitchell has lived in Snowy Pine Ridge his entire life and owns the town's hardware store. There were so many additional details in this novel that is keeps the reader engaged.

The story was great. I love Snowy Pine Ridge. I did notice a lot of proofing errors though: misspelled words, sentences that didn't make sense or had extra words, other things that made me have to figure out a sentence. I'm guessing they were in a hurry to publish. Hoping not to see this in the final book.

Love, sweet Love!
Such a sweet love story. Although the outcome is predictable, getting there is what makes it fun! Every story, so far in Snowy Pine Ridge’s magical town, has been outstanding. Now I can’t wait to see how it is all wrapped up, like a special Christmas present!

Clark, the guy who owns the hardware store,finally finds a love interest. A cute story of the dream town and its townsfolk. I enjoyed the hallmark feel good story and updates of all the previous characters. Love!

I absolutely adore this series! I love the town of Snowy Pine Ridge and all of it's inhabitants. The story is very addictive and it's hard to put it down. I can't wait for the next one!
