Unholy Holidays #2

Knot Again Satan

Rate this book
Oh unholy night…

Winter break has finally come for art student Eden Evans.

While all of her friends are going home for the holidays, Eden’s taking a trip straight to Hell to visit the man who rocked her world on Halloween night.

She’s excited and intrigued to learn more about Luc and to experience more of the blistering heat of what he can do to her. But what she finds is a man who seems a bit softer and more unsure of himself.

Luc is nervous to share his world with someone for the first time in over three millennia. After all, not every woman likes flaming fire pits and the moans of sinners.

He’s willing to do everything in his power to give Eden the best Christmas possible… even if he can’t actually say the word Christmas.

This is an MF omegaverse tale that picks up a few months after where Knot Today Satan left off. As always, these are a walk on the wild side, so read the triggers carefully before reading.

Sadly, this wasn’t as great as the first one. It wasn’t bad but with the constant working of the MMC if felt weird how they just decided to become mates. I still liked their relationship but this was just not it.

I love how ridiculous these titles are, and it’s what drew me to book one. Luc is mischievous, jealous, protective, and sexy AF. He brings out Eden’s wild side and she brings him joy he’s never had before. He doesn’t demand that she gives up her dreams and she doesn’t demand that he becomes something he isn’t. They’re so fun together and I loved their HEA. The circles of Hell were a fun addition and handled well. I also liked the side characters, especially the assistant.

Spice: 4/5

Triggers: religious mentions, discussion of Hell and torture, attempted drowning, head injury

I really enjoyed getting to read about Luc and Eden this time with her crossing the realm into Luc’s world. We get to see where he lives and what his world entails. I love those two together and I hope we get another novella about them!

*SPOILERS FOR KNOT TODAY, SATAN*

“Well, it is the season to be on the naughty list.” - Knot Again, Satan by Calliope Stewart

Since meeting the alpha Devil last Halloween, omega Eden is only starting to fall more and more for Luc. And with the winter solstice thinning the veil between worlds, she travels to Hell just in time for its first X-mas party with Luc. But could this be the first of many celebrations together, or will a jailbreak of sinners put Eden and Luc’s future together in jeopardy?

Are you looking for a holiday romance that adds extra spice in your stocking? In need of smut so filthy, you’ll be looking over your shoulder so nobody knows how much of a naughty reader you are? If your answer is like mine, then say hell yes to Calliope Stewart’s sequel to her devil omegaverse novella that puts the ho in horny.

Because holy sh*t, this book surprised me by scratching that spicy itch I’ve been having the past few days. It’s got everything you need: a steamy and engaging couple, loads of supernatural spice for that extra naughty kick, and a happily ever after that makes me ready for a Book 3 (Dear Ms. Stewart, consider this my official plea for a Book 3).

I loved Luc and Eden in the first book, but I loved them even more now that the distance has made their hearts and other parts impatient to properly reunite. And, oh, they reunited all right. The Tags I’ve found are rare in the romance books I’ve read, including omegaverse and demon love stories. Plus Ms. Stewart’s writing makes our naughty list of smut just as enjoyable to read as it is spicy, making it one of the best holiday erotic literature I’ve read this year.

The characters and settings themselves are so much fun to meet and explore, challenging everything you know about omegaverse and Hell. Seriously, I need to explore more of our couple and side characters ASAP.

In conclusion from my ramblings above, please read “Knot Again, Satan” so I can gush over this book with y’all.

Final Smut Archive assessment: Bringing holiday cheer to a circle near you.

I think I enjoyed this one more than the first. These characters are so darn likable, and I really enjoyed how we got to see more of how Luc and Eden interact. And can we talk about how Luc is the literal king of hell, but he’s just a nervous dude who wants to impress Eden and puts all this effort into her trip going well, and then things don’t go totally perfectly according to plan and Eden is just totally understanding and happy to be there? Ok I’m done. Utter filth? Yes. But also super cute.

this series has my heart 🖤

this installment focused far more on worldbuilding and plot drama, which was captivating and creative...but it did so by sacrificing almost all of the spice that made book one so standout. i just wish it had been longer to give the best of both worlds (hannah montana style). i really hope the author decides to keep this series going, because i can't imagine ever getting bored of it.

I genuinely loved this novella!!

There isn’t one single thing that I can criticise about it!

I really enjoyed the first book but this one was even better!
I loved finding out more about Luc and how the circles of Hell worked!!

I know for sure I’ll be buying the physical copies and re-reading them!!

Perfect! Really was perfect!

Knot Again Satan

HERO /HEROINE
Lucifer is so excited to have Eden down in hell to celebrate X-mas. He is nervous beyond belief and just wants all the souls to behave because he has a very important question for her.

Eden has had a lot to think about since Halloween. Lucifer is the Alpha of her dreams. Now she's going to spend the holidays in Hell of all places. She couldn't be happier.
REPRESENTATION

OVERALL THOUGHTS
Luc is IN LOVE. He is so freaking cute. He is completely jealous of any male attention given to Eden and is so funny about it.
“She’s prettier than you said she’d be.”
Luc didn’t seem offended by the demon’s words.

“I said she was the most gorgeous being that I’d ever had the pleasure of meeting, what more did you want from me?”

I loves allllll the new characters in hell. I think that's what was missing for me in the first book. It was mostly just them in the pocket of space. We got more information of hell and all the fun demons and souls that live there. This was a fun book.

Speaking to the author on this one, if you can, continue Lucifer and Eden's story. I'm talking Valentines Edition, I'm talking introducing Lucifer to

Eden's friends and family. I want their wedding and Eden's graduation. I want her first day in Hell. I WANT. IT. ALL. Maybe kids or a hellhound. I want a little bit of that upstairs action where we meet angels.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE
Every time in this book when Cleo and Justin came up it didn't sound good. Justin sounds so flaky and Cleo sounds like she deserves better. Are they end game?
FAVORITE QUOTES:
“And I love you for it,” I purred.
I’d been sprinkling the word in every chance I got. I’d never said I loved anyone before, and I feared I was quickly becoming addicted to it.

Lucifer is so in love and healthily obsessed with Eden. I loved every moment of it.
SAFETY
AGE:
Lucifer is as old as time and Eden is in college.
SEXUAL HISTORY:
Lucifer and Eden had their first encounter at Halloween and they've been obsessed with each other since.
CONDOMS:

TUMMY BUTTERFLIES:
3 /5 this was pretty tame from a smutty romance. A lot of the smut was foreplay. Tbh I just wanted them to get down and dirty a bit more.

Author given content warnings
Like with any book, Knot Again Satan does contain some triggers that may influence some readers as to whether or not they’d like to read. Triggers: - Religious mentions - Mentions of Hell - Attempted drowning This book also contains several sexual situations that go outside of the laws of physics such as: Doppelgängers, throat dissension, tail play, anal, DVP, oral, and more.

Calliope Stewart takes the heat, humour, and intrigue of ‘Knot Today Satan’ and cranks it up to another level in ‘Knot Again Satan’. This sequel dives deeper into the world of Hell, giving readers a more intricate look at its inner workings while maintaining the sizzling chemistry that made the first book so addictive.

Plot: ★★★★★
The plot builds beautifully on the foundation of the first book, blending intense spice with deeper world-building. It’s not just about the romance - this book takes a closer look at Hell’s structure, power dynamics, and Luc’s responsibilities, all while keeping the tension between him and Eden utterly magnetic.

Character: ★★★★★
Seeing more of Eden and Luc is an absolute treat. Eden truly comes into her own in this book, and Luc somehow manages to become even more irresistible. Their relationship evolves in a way that feels organic and deeply satisfying, making you fall for them all over again.

Setting: ★★★★★
The settings remain incredibly well-developed, and this time, we finally get a more immersive look into Hell itself. The descriptions are vivid, eerie, and downright fascinating, bringing an entirely new layer of depth to the story.

Engagement: ★★★★★
This book is impossible to put down. Every page is packed with intrigue, humour, and passion, making for a completely engrossing read. Whether it’s the fiery tension between Eden and Luc or the revelations about Hell, there’s never a dull moment.

Readability: ★★★★★
Stewart’s writing remains smooth, engaging, and easy to devour. The dialogue is sharp, the descriptions are immersive, and the pacing is perfect, ensuring that the story flows effortlessly from beginning to end.

Enjoyment: ★★★★★
I’ve read this book too many times to count, and each time, I love it just as much. The mix of heat, humour, and world-building makes it one of my absolute favourites. If you thought ‘Knot Today Satan’ was amazing, ‘Knot Again Satan’ takes everything to the next level.

‘Knot Again Satan’ is the perfect sequel, expanding on everything that made the first book so great while adding even more depth to the story. With its steamy romance, witty dialogue, and captivating world-building, it’s a must-read for fans of paranormal romance.

**I received an ARC, and I'm leaving a review on my own volition.**

Finally, the anticipated follow-up to Eden's and Luc's novella. I was so excited when Calliope Stewart announced it. And this time it plays in the Chris…, *cough*, I mean X-Mas season. 😜

It picks up with a few months/weeks after Halloween and the first story. So, we see that they both are really connected with each other and that they did continue their relationship. She plans a visit to hell to see Luc in his domain this time.

And we learn a lot about him. Same as with Eden, who gained a lot of confidence. Same with the first novella, they still have that great chemistry and really are a perfect match for each other. The smutty times are spicy and I had a lot of fun to read them. I really love it, that Calliope wrote it as Omegaverse.

In general, I love her writing. It is impressive how a short novella can be packed with so many emotions, a great plot and so many funny moments. Even the side-characters!

Of course, I'm sad that it is short. Again, as it was with the first story, you never wish for the good stuff to end. But if I have it correctly in mind, there will be a final novella next year at some point. I can't wait to read that and to finally see the HEA!

I definitely recommend reading it. ❤️

I was soooo pumped for this when I saw it pop up in my kindle feed and it didn't really disappoint! A lot more wholesome than the first one though with more *plot* and world building. But I liked it.

This picks up pretty much a few months after where we left Eden off when she finished her heat after Halloween and had a sex marathon with Luc (and doppelganger Star). I loved seeing their relationship dynamic outside of the heat with Luc and Eden communicating via their bond until they reunite for X-Mas in Hell. Jealous/possessive Luc is a hilarious Luc 🤭

Like I said, not as unhinged or had a lot of crazy spice as the first. Spice is present don't get me wrong! We got knotting, DP with Luc's magic doppelganger, and the fun stuff of the first novella.

I loved this depiction of Hell. It gave me the giggles. Tell me why he modeled one of the circles of Hell after Florida 🤣🤣 (don't worry, Floridians, it's the tamest circle for people who aren't the worst.)

Santa Who?
4 ⭐️ 3.8 🌶️

Hell has never been hotter—or funnier. Knot Again Satan throws us straight into the flames as Eden ditches a traditional holiday for a X-mas in the Underworld with her devilishly sexy boyfriend, Luc. He’s trying (and failing) to make Hell festive, she’s falling even harder for her future king, and everyone around them is a chaotic mess.

Between constant interruptions, Luc’s over-the-top jealousy, and enough sexual tension to set the place ablaze (as if it wasn’t already), this novella is a spicy, snarky, and sinfully fun ride. The banter? Hilarious. The heat? Infernal. The romance? Absolutely unholy in the best way.

If Knot Today Satan left you desperate for more, this one DELIVERS. Calliope Stewart plays with our emotions (and patience) in the best way possible, making the eventual payoff so worth it. Grab a fan, because this read is HOT—and not just because it takes place in Hell.

The 12 Days Of X-Mas 😉😈😇🎄❤️

I absolutely LOVED the first time we met Luc & Eden, and didn’t think their story could get any better. Wow, was I wrong 😂 I can’t explain how excited I was to hear that we were getting more from our devil & his Angel 🥰 I didn’t realize how much more I truly wanted from them until I actually got it. As amazing as the 1st book was when they started building their bond, this time, them actually having a link to each other, made this story 100x better. Even when they’re not together, the chemistry & passion just flowed between them. Not to mention, their back & forth banter was so hilarious, especially when she was topside. Our boy was jealous, A LOT 😝😂 Oh, and the Friends reference 🙌🏻 That really made my day 😂 It was such a chaotic hot mess watching Luc deal with issues in his realm, while trying to spend time with Eden, and throw a X-mas celebration for her too. This may have been another brief look into Luc & Eden’s lives, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t deliver on heat, passion, romance, drama, action, humor, or love. Basically, the 1st book was their honeymoon phase where they stay between the sheets. This book was the reality phase, where they have to think about whether their future can become a thing of reality. I can’t wait to see what happens with Luc & Eden in the next book, and if Star could somehow become fully sentient & join in the love somehow, that would be even better! The only thing bad about their stories are how fast they end 😭😉😝😈❤️

knot again satan

I read the first one (Knot Today Satan) last year and loved it, and when I saw this one pop up on my rec list I immediately grabbed it. and it did not disappoint. I love these characters and the spice is great. this one also had some super cool world building. so in the last book, Eden accidentally summoned Satan at Halloween and they had some fun, spicy times in a pocket dimension. in this one, it's X-mas time and Eden traveled to Hell where Lucifer has been planning a huge party for her. there's a little mishap with some lost souls that keeps pulling the two apart for a bit, but when they got together it was 🔥
so anyways, go read this. it's super fun and I loved it :)

Luc and Eden return in a Christmas Novella! A great short read that is perfect for the season.

I was excited for Knot again Satan, that is following on from Knot today Satan where we first met the couple at Halloween.
Luc is preparing Hell for the arrival of his Angel, not without some hellish antics within the circles of the damned.
Eden is at college, mastering her skills in art and anticipating the time where she can be physically with Luc again.
When they are finally together again, some chaos ensues, it is hell after all, but their intense heat and love for each other is out of the world.

I loved their unique connection, the banter and of course the steam.

this story was everything! Eden and Luc’s banter is truly delightful and getting to see them have their little side chats without physically being presented with each other had me cackling out loud. PLUSSSS seeing Luc get a smidge growly over others even perceiving Eden was SO GOOD!! i love a possessive and lovestruck man. The love Luc has for Eden is so hellishly sweet. He’s such a softy for Eden, wanting to throw her the perfect Chri- i mean.. X-mas Celebration. This was such a good little festive read and I cannot wait to see more antics between Luc and Eden! It was such a good mix of story, spice, and sweetness.

Thank you Calliope for the arc! All opinions are my own :))

Knot Again Satan by Calliope Stewart

“Devil”ishly Good Read
Luc & Eden’s romance continues in Knot Again Satan. It’s Christmas and Luc and Eden had previously made plans to see each other again. This time Eden goes to hell. Who knew hell could be fun at X mas? This story is funny all the way. I like Calliope’s literary view of hell, using Dante’s Inferno.
The characters Luc and Eden have a great chemistry although their love scenes are constantly interrupted by Luc’s underlings. A quick subplot accompanies the romance between Luc & Eden.
I like Calliope Stewart’s books and this saucy novella is a fun read. I would suggest you read the first novella Knot Today Satan.

After finishing the first book, I instantly went into this one. I really loved Eden and Luc, plus I went into this one blind, so I wasn't sure if we would be expanding on their story or catching up on Cleo's story. In this one, we do follow Eden as she and Luc work on their relationship and decide to complete their bond. It was fun to explore their relationship, but I wish we got to explore Hell more, and I feel like we missed that opportunity a little bit. Overall, I did enjoy the first book more, but I still love this deranged novella.

Probably more like a 3.5

It was fine. I think I was wanting a bit more out of an omega verse romance centred around the devil, but I knew it was going to be short going into it. I think the best way for this to have been improved would be adding in a more dramatic plot line, maybe something a bit more life and deathy, you know. Other than that, it was pretty good. The characters were fun, but it got a bit boring and repetitive at times.

Second one was a bit better because it had more going on, but still wish there was a bit more than it just happening IN hell

I loved this little novella. When I saw that it had 100 pages, I was like, probably not much time for a story. But I was so wrong. This was a cute little holiday story about the devil wanting to host a dirty Xmas party in hell for his mate that gets kind of side tracked by errant hell inhabitants. The book was so well balanced between the story and the spice. I also love the banter between the devil and his workers.

Such a great follow up story to the first book.

The return of Luc and Eden!
Honestly, for such a short story, you get a variety of smut, banter from side demons, and hell shenanigans! It was fun to see where this sweet omega and literal satan couple are now. And he’s throwing her a Xmas party? Im swooning, what a sweet demon. I loved the side characters especially, their interactions with Luc literally made me laugh out loud. Super well balanced and a fun short novella thats perfect for this time of year.

What a steamy fun Xmas story!!!!

It's a novella, but it packed a good story into a short read. I was smiling at the demons' antics. Who knew you could make demons, hell, and Lucifer so likable? Don't worry, though there is most definitely 🌶 between Eden and Luc.

Is it bad that I kind of want more holiday themed novellas featuring this couple? A Valentines Day one? How about a story featuring other demons from hell? Kevin, perhaps?

Devilishly sweet OV. What a wonderful installment in this series with Eden and Luc. I love these two together and it was so easy to get caught up again in their story. These characters are sweet and funny and the spice is balanced nicely through out this book. The amount of story, character development and world building we get in this novella is fantastic. I will definitely recommend this book to others. Such a great read, and I hope there will be more from these two in the future.

I loved revisiting Luc & Eden!!

Knot Today leaves us with a HFN and then in Knot Again, we get so much more fun between Luc & Eden.

It was a lot of fun visiting Luc in his world and seeing how he was preparing for Eden’s arrival was so sweet. I love their relationship. The demons song was hilarious. X-mas seemed like such a fun affair for everyone in H3ll. I’m so happy we got to read more Luc & Eden.

A great holiday omegaverse.

So, Lucifer has fallen in love with Eden, an Omega who managed to summon him to earth. As he's returning to hell he makes his first claiming bite on her and now they are linked, and can communicate across the realms and see through each others eyes.

The plan is for Eden to travel to Hell for Christmas and as you would expect chaos ensues.

An entertaining read that kept me smiling .
