Homeless, scared, and on the run for her life, Genesis Campbell found herself caught in a web of desperation and ambition. Confused about her next move, Genesis stumbled upon a chance encounter that would forever change her life. A wealthy African name Kofi approached her, proposing a marriage of convenience that promised Genesis financial security in exchange for his path to U.S citizenship. She thought, “Hell yeah, why not,” but that’s until Genesis discovered the deep dark secrets to Kofi success. She wanted OUT! Only, she realized she was a “I Do,” too late. Trapped in a marriage of hell, Genesis plots and schemes her way to freedom. Murder, lies, deceit, betrayal, no move is off limits in this game of chess … Find out if Genesis will get a treat or be tricked in this fast pace trickery novella….
This one started out deep, but the story took a completely different turn. Genesis and her foster sisters have been through unimaginable things, but they have a plan. Unfortunately, their plan to escape takes many road blocks that they didn’t expect. Kofi was scary and I knew from the beginning he would be trouble. But Genesis’ street smarts always kept her a step ahead. Overall a decent read about trickery and deceit, where everyone has ulterior motives. I will be continuing to book 2 in this series.
The book had a great story line but at times it was hard to read due to grammatical errors, probably a misprint but I did enjoy they book. I would like to see what's next in the sequel.

My Sentiments:
'A Treat for Tricking' was an excellent short story about the mess Genesis Campbell got into trying to save her sisters, Sunjae and Tyler. Genesis thought that getting involved with this wealthy African, Kofi, would suit her for two years, but was that to be for her? Getting mixed up in 'murder, lies, deceit, betrayal, along with secrets...in the end, would this end for Genesis getting a treat or being tricked after all is said and done? In the end, who will Genesis be left with? To find out the answer and so much more... pick up this read and see how it is brought out so well by the author.
Good read from beginning to end several typos but it didn’t take from the story. These girls went through a lot but I feel if they would have told the truth from the beginning things would have been different. Gensis was something else and now she’s in more trouble than she know. Can’t wait to read more about these sisters. Good job Author Cornelia Smith.
She was dealt a bad deck of cards. Starting at her home life on to the unwanted marriage. This story had all the twists that would not let you put this book down. It was short but maybe I just read too fast. I couldn't put it down one time. READ THIS ASAP. MS. Cornelia is super gifted

I definitely wasn't expecting the twist and turns that Genesis pulled out! It was a lot of tricking going on now I'm waiting to see who has the treat? Tyler or Sunjae. Definitely a great read!
