Spiritcrusher’s Crusade is a post apocalypticy futuristic extreme horror/splatterpunk that ticks a lot of boxes!

You’ve got a badass MC, gore, guns, some brutal torture and the best thing is, it’s all happening to the bad guys!

Opening scene you jump straight into the extreme gore. There’s no holding back and it hooked me instantly

Asimov is great! Love him. Really reminds me of Jarvis from iron man and it made me smile

I did have to stop reading for a hot minute as part of Spiritcrusher’s Crusade is difficult to read as the descriptions are DETAILED and it broke my heart. Especially because there are some sick people out there that actually do them sorts of things 💔

I did not see that twist coming either! Overall, I enjoyed this one and will happily read the next book Spiritcrusher’s Crusade 2: Flesh Cabal

This book is a step up from James' previous book: Quacking Up: A tale of Drugs, Sex & Ducks.

This book is brutal, and James let's you know he ain't playing around anymore. The first 20 or so pages are vomit induced shock.

The story is about a man who's life goal is to save the children from all the Pedo's of the world. He makes his living off selling his catches & killings on the dark web. The way he goes about his quest is very Batmanesque....he even has a butler of sorts.

Anyway I am not going to spoil this book, I recommend reading it if you want to see justice come to the sick people in life who harm children for their own lust, but be warned this book has all the trigger warnings.

My only complaint with the book is that I felt it was rushed, and I wanted more interactions with more of his victims.

The ending did leave my jaw on the floor.

I needed a pallet cleanser

So, I like horror, I like just about every genre and since I binged on one genre, I wanted something else as a pallet cleanser in between...

I wish we had a real Spiritcrusher...

I definitely picked up on the vibes early on, if you know, you know.

This was an absolute gore-fest.

🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this disgustingly beautiful story!!!

Spiritcrusher will do anything to save kids from the grips of child predators, and boy does he make them pay for their wrong doing...
Parts of this book was down right gore with a capital G but even through all the bloodshed there was deep emotions that brought tears to my eyes.

Trauma runs deep within the veins of the writing, emotions will be rising....how far would you go to save the innocent???

Thank you James Fisher for writting something so raw and healing in its own way! 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Spiritcrusher's Crusade plunges readers into a relentless world of extreme horror and vigilante justice. Leon, the masked vigilante at the centre, takes on the mission of rescuing innocent children from the clutches of paedophiles in a near-dystopian future. Right from the start, the narrative grabs your attention with unapologetic brutality, reminiscent of the intense setting in the movie Dredd (2012). Spiritcrusher, portrayed as an extreme horror superhero, utilises a variety of high-tech weapons and an AI assistant in his quest.

If you're drawn to masked vigilantes, extreme horror, and narratives that push the boundaries of gore and violence, Spiritcrusher's Crusade is a compelling read. The book weaves together elements of graphic novels and 80s action films, posing the question: How far would you go to protect the innocent? With its unique setting and relentless storytelling, it marks the beginning of something dark and blood-soaked.

A perfect book to go in blind. A vigilante who just wants to save the children. Fast paced, well written, perfect amount of gore and will pull on your heart strings. There’s a gut punch you don’t see coming.

In this dystopian novella, we follow a futuristic vigilante called Spiritcrusher, who has dedicated years of training and money to chasing after the scum of the world. Specifically, those who have a taste for performing unspeakable acts on children. His goal is to continuously capture these monsters and torture them. While taboo and unsettling, I appreciated the unique plot of this book and where it took me.

It's like... If The Punisher had Batman's bank account in Judge Dredd's world... also... if he was played by Steven Seagal... hilariously funny yet brutal!
