I highly recommend this book as a guide to relieving shame. I had the honor of having Sis. Hughes as a pastor's wife and learning so much from her example. After reading her book I appreciate her even more. I appreciate her vulnerability and genuineness as she shared her real life struggles with shame. I appreciate her research and sharing the tools that helped her combat shame that rely on the Word of God. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone carrying the weight of their mistakes and mishaps because they will find doable and useful tools centered on God and His word.
