Out of the frying pan...
Survival Rules, the 2nd book in the America Gone series, picks up right after book 1 left off, with Lance, Sophie, and Cheryl, Lance's mother, finding themselves facing a whole new threat to the family farm. Like book 1, the writing is first rate, with Shupert doing an excellent job of rounding out the already well developed characters and doing a commendable job of describing the environment of the farm and the events of the book. 5/5 stars, just be ready to be unable to out the book down!!

Family Rules!
Loving the characters developments. Sophie especially! Regular people working together against the odds. Getting knocked down and showing they can get back up stronger then ever. Prevailing against the evil in there midst and ready for the next challenge. The action is excellent and cannot wait for the next installment of this saga.

Tension and drama is building nicely in this second book of the America Gone series. Along with Lance and his mum Cheryl, we are still in the dark to who is behind the threats to their farm. The story keeps you in suspense and I can't wait to read the next book.

good yarn
Really liking the storyline.. enjoying the characters,they seem real, not like some of the dummies in some stories, they leave me thinking ’why would anyone do that?’ The story is believable and I would expect the world to go to hell in a handbasket quite quickly

Very good storytelling, you just to keep turning pages to find out what is next. Character development could be better. We know more about Sophie.

America Gone book 2
Great reading. Really enjoyed it can’t wait to see and read book 3. Poor dog my heart went out to him but glad he is ok.
