There was once a man who lived in a city, and he had lived in that city all his life.

This was a strange story, even by Gaiman standards. The emotional resonance was lacking, and the graphics were more art deco style which I did not really like much.

Pensa num rolê ALEATÓRIO. Com o plus de fazer alusão ao livro maravilhoso incrível perfeito do Dickens, um conto de duas cidades.

Eu gostei muito dos desenhos dessa edição (quando o cara lá tá contando o tal do conto da duas cidades e tal).

Very happy to come back to the mainstream plots surrounding Dream and his family members. Listened to the audio-experience Audible Act 3 which encompasses Volumes 7-8 (Brief Lives and Worlds' End)[1], the Sandman Special #1, and other short stories from Vertigo: Winter's Edge #1 & #3 and Vertigo Preview #1.

Looking forward to more backstories and "day in the lives" for other family members such as Desire, and Despair as we've seen with Dream and Death.

Gaiman war auch zuvor nicht gut darin, neue Story Arcs zu beginnen, aber hier stimmt wirklich sehr wenig für mich. Mir gefällt die Optik der Binnenhandlung so gar nicht und das Gedankenexperiment ist unnötig wortreich und unansehnlich ausgebreitet. Die Idee dahinter ist wiederum eine schöne, aber in dieser Form einfach kein Genuss.
