In the touching conclusion to the heartwarming “Redemption of Green Pines” series, Shawn and Annie have recently moved to Green Pines to be closer to his sister, Holly and her husband, Jace. New community. New job. New church. Shawn feels optimistic about the open doors God has given their family, even if the new position of superintendent feels a little out of his league.
As Shawn embraces his new adventure, little does he know he will soon be called upon to save not only family and friends, but also those in the school he has promised to protect.
In the aftermath, Shawn is confronted with emotions he has long buried, threatening his marriage and newly-formed relationships. Will he allow God to help him heal or will everything he loves and has worked for his whole life be destroyed from one senseless act?

Shawn learns how to handle his PTSD, after an epoxide of violence at the schools where he is the superintendent and where his nephew is hurt. Matts brother who caused the problem comes to know Christ. Tessa finally leaves her husband and his abusive ways she gets counseling. This book shows that even Christians have things happen to them and with God taking the lead we can work through them and give forgiveness to the person who hurts us.

Redemption Full Circle is Book 6 in amazing wordsmith Cheri Swalwell’s The Redemption of Green Pines Series. This Christian contemporary novel concludes the series but may be read as a stand alone if the other books were not yet read. I would encourage readers to go ahead and read them because after reading this dynamic tale, you will yearn for the back story.
The book begins powerfully, and I was hooked. Descriptive writing placed me right in the middle of all of the action. The characters were artfully crafted. I could picture them as friends and family as I became invested in their lives. I loved the inspirational message that was lovingly written throughout this novel. Messages of redemption, hope, love, forgiveness, and trust. This gives a glimpse into the life of a Christian family. What a great example for all of us! Families, friends, teenagers, children, and individuals pray. When I read a Christian fiction, that’s what I want to read. Scripture is carefully sprinkled throughout the book. I had all of the feels and am still thinking about it even though I finished it days ago.
I recommend this entertaining, inspiring, and edifying book to all lovers of Christian fiction. It would make a great reader group selection. There is so much to discuss and ponder. This is a book that will stay with you. I give it a 5 star rating. Loved it!!! A copy was provided but these are my honest words.
I have loved this series from the very beginning. The characters are amazing and realistic. I am sad to leave them now that the series is ending because they have become fictional friends! This is a strong Christian community with people that laugh and cry together, through the joy and pain. They have real world problems and trust in God to see them through. The author does an amazing job of sharing insights through her characters on how we can also trust God to see us through our life. The main character, Shawn, has now moved back to Green Pines with his wife and family and is the superintendent of schools. On his first day, he is faced with a situation no one wants to face. It leaves him with PTSD that takes a while to deal with. Other characters continue on their journeys that have started in previous books too as storylines are wrapped up. I recommend reading the whole series to get the full experience of this amazing community of people who support each other through many of life's ups and downs! Life can be joyful! I will remember these characters for years to come!
Swalwell has written an admirable cast of characters facing realistic obstacles in an idyllic community. I had the privilege of beta reading this series, and I've enjoyed seeing the characters face trials, push through them with grace and strength from God, and come out stronger. Redemption Full Circle begins with a heart-pounding scene involving a school shooting. Holly's just-moved-to-Green-Pines brother is the new superintendent, so the event leads him to face PTSD, which naturally affects his whole family and circle of new friends. Meanwhile Matt must decide how to relate to his twin brother who is overflowing with anger. Consistent with the rest of the series, the characters look to God and each other for direction. I recommend this book for fans of Christian women's fiction who love happy endings.
Redemption Full Circle Book 6 by Cheri Swalwell Love everything abou this book, realistic with twists and turns. It's a real live shooter at school and everybody steps up to the plate. Love all the intricate details as my kids were lucky to have never experienced this. Love that the couples in trouble are shown the path to God and how they can be saved. Some have struggles with PTSD and I love hearing how it's handled. Love what the family consists of, so widespread. Hope this series can continue with next generation.... Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
"Redemption Full Circle" is the final installment of The Redemption of Green Pines series. Although I do recommend reading the first 5 books in the series, you can read this book alone. All of the characters feel like one big family and old time friends. This book has a little action than the first five. The author always weaves a strong Christian message in each book. I highly recommend these books.
If you’re looking for a contemporary story with a strong Christian message, this is the series for you. It demonstrates great, Biblical parenting styles and shows how Christians should act. I loved this book, as well as the rest of the series.
In this book you will read about a hostage situation, a brother who is out to hurt every he is angry with. The characters n this book are like one big family. They are always there for each other and working together. Wonderful book I couldn’t stop reading it.
Wow! I loved seeing old friends again in this book. God can soften even the hardest heart, and sometimes He uses a child. Speaking of which, I wonder what other heroics Logan will get into, lol. Very well done!
