I love Rune and Brands relationship, they are the best. They are more than brothers but they don't have romantic feelings for one another which is great and refreshing in a setting like this. I want more adventures with these two.

I love the relationship between Rune and Brand. Nothing will ever break that bond and it's fun to see them before everything gets complicated with the Sun throne and they're just working for Lord Tower.

I read this too late, when I have already finished the first three books a long time ago, and I'm now rereading them again😅 I thought my heart was gonna stop when I read the first parts of the story🫠😭

Amnesia is set before the events of The Last Sun, when Rune and Brand were still living with Lord Tower. It starts with a "what-if" scene: what if Brand died before Rune and how Rune would be acting. It about broke my heart to read the emptiness and how lost Rune feels without Brand by his side. It was until Rune realized that he was being mentally manipulated that I felt happy that the first parts were not true, and Brand is VERY MUCH ALIVE😍😭

This short story is a great introduction of how Rune and Brand work together on the task/s they receive from Lord Tower, an Arcana who is significant to them both (as well as the rest of the series). It gives you a sneak peek to the power and abilities of Rune and Brand. Would love to read more about them😍

A short, 4 page story that opens with Rune in the thrall of someone who tells him Brand is dead, and wants to know the secrets of the Lord Sun. Brand doesn't believe him and... well, he breaks out using the power of the Sun Throne.

It was sweet to explore the bond between the two again (and really it's almost TOO SHORT), but... I'm hoping this isn't foreshadowing for the rest of the series.
