The Hitwoman gets caught

That’s it? I feel like the rest of the story is missing. Although the bad guys are caught, the last few pages show the mastermind recognizing Maggie and before we know who it is, that’s it. Story ends. And what is in the envelope that was in the safe deposit box? Maggie never opened it. I suppose we’ll find out in the next book? Can’t say I’m not disappointed, but this was still a good read.

I’m still waiting for some things to happen in this series: finding out the cat’s real name, Katie revealing she understands the animals too, Maggie kissing Nate, Maggie telling Nate about her animal secret, Maggie telling Templeton her animal secret because he is her confidante and is always there for her to talk to, and that’s all I can think of right now.

Next is book 42 with the release date of March 21, 2024: The Hitwoman VS the Training Schedule

My next reading adventure was just published on January 8, 2024 and is in the pages written by CeeCee James “The Cabin Conspiracy (A Flamingo Realty Mystery Book 13)”

Another book by J B Lynn that aims to please her readers

"The Hitwoman Gets Caught" by JB Lynn is a high-octane, fast-paced adventure that plunges readers into the fascinating world of Maggie Lee, a hitwoman with a heart of gold. With its irresistible blend of suspense, humor, and sharp wit, this book is a delightful read that hooks you from the very first page.

Right from the opening scenes, Lynn showcases her talent for creating a story that is as fun as it is action-packed. Set against the backdrop of a dangerous criminal underworld, the narrative hurtles forward with unrelenting energy, ensuring that readers are always on the edge of their seats. The author's skillful pacing keeps the plot engaging and ensures that there is never a dull moment.

One of the most captivating aspects of the book is the cast of characters. Maggie Lee, the protagonist, is a compelling and complex character who effortlessly carries the story with her sharp intelligence and quick wit. Her interactions with the other characters are filled with humor and heart, adding depth and authenticity to the narrative. Lynn has a remarkable ability to breathe life into her characters, making them feel like old friends to the reader.

Moreover, Lynn's talent for crafting well-developed and multi-dimensional characters shines through in the book. Each character, no matter how minor, feels distinct and fully realized, contributing to the richness of the story. Whether it's the charming sidekick or the formidable antagonist, every character adds a layer of depth to the narrative, making the world of the book feel vivid and immersive.

The book's immersive quality is further heightened by Lynn's masterful storytelling. Her prose is lively and evocative, painting vivid scenes and crafting dialogue that crackles with energy. The author's knack for balancing tense action sequences with moments of genuine emotion and humor creates a reading experience that is as dynamic as it is enjoyable.

The plot itself is a roller-coaster ride, filled with unexpected twists and turns that keep the reader guessing until the very end. As Maggie Lee navigates a series of increasingly perilous situations, the tension steadily mounts, culminating in a gripping and satisfying conclusion. Lynn's ability to keep the stakes high and the action relentless ensures that the reader is always eager to see what happens next.

Furthermore, the book's fast pace is complemented by its seamless blend of fun and adventure. Lynn infuses the narrative with a sense of lightheartedness and humor that serves as a delightful counterpoint to the high-stakes action. The result is a story that is as entertaining as it is thrilling, striking a perfect balance between pulse-pounding excitement and laugh-out-loud moments.

In addition to its sheer entertainment value, "The Hitwoman Gets Caught" also explores themes of loyalty, redemption, and the complexities of morality. Through Maggie Lee's journey, the book delves into the dynamics of trust and friendship, adding a layer of emotional depth to the exhilarating narrative. Lynn's ability to infuse these themes into the story without sacrificing its momentum is a testament to her skill as a storyteller.

In conclusion, "The Hitwoman Gets Caught" by JB Lynn is a sensational, action-packed romp that offers readers a front-row seat to an exhilarating adventure. With its captivating characters, breakneck pace, and irresistible blend of fun and thrills, this book is a must-read for anyone in search of a wild and entertaining literary ride. "No good deed goes unpunished" is a saying I've heard that comes to mind when I think of Maggie in this story. While doing a favor for her scallywag father, she and niece Katie become hostages, and Maggie ends up saving lives. But... Read this fast paced and exciting adventure of Maggie and her menagerie and crazy family to find out what happens.

Things you can count on in this series include Maggie protecting her family, Maggie's pets being beyond brave and loyal as they help her, there's always a mobster, a cop who lives a double life, a friend who is slightly wacky and slightly psychic, lots of animals, and family. Intricate plot with impossible odds and a heroine who doesn't know the word "no."

I laughed, chewed my fingernails, held my breath, and read as fast as I could. Simply marvelous! This series keeps on getting better and better. FABULOUS!

Great series!

Another adventure with Maggie and her crew! I sincerely love this series. It delivers an entertaining read every time. The quirky personalities of the characters are unique. You can't help but become invested in the development of their characters. Maggie's brother and uncle as well as our favorite peacock were absent this time as well as little Dom. That is unusual. One of the things I appreciate about this series is the appearance even if brief or mention of each character. However, the addition of Billy the goat is intriguing. I bet he'll be an interesting addition. Again I urge you to read this series. The storylines hold your interest throughout and making you inpatient for more. Read this series you won't be disappointed.

I love this series! It just keeps getting better and better! Maggie is a wonderful complex character. Maggie's family is a hoot, and her love for them goes above and beyond her common sense in that she will do whatever it takes to protect them. She does not plan to be in tricky situations, they just occur! How could just going to the bank for an item in a safe deposit box wind up putting her in a dangerous situation! This witty entertaining story is filled with twists and turns, murder and mayhem. Unpredictable events and complex situations make this a real page turner and a must read!

Book 41 Hit Woman Gets Caught by JB Lynn is terrific. Maggie gets caught up in a bank robbery. Lots of animal assistance and even the mobster helps her in this story. Every book is stand alone but new readers should start with the first book to get the connections of the characters, especially the animals. So, do yourself a favor and start this series and keep reading. The books are short and funny. Most start you out with a laugh. I mean who checks in with a blind peacock guarding the compound? These are just feel good stories.

Most fun mystery of robbers, killers, Ninja's and pets

I always review the "Hitwoman's" books. This series makes me laugh out loud. It helps tremendously if you feel down, it's raining outside, you name it. I hope Maggie starts feeling Nate is the kind of guy she can date. The pets will always make me laugh. Poopy the goat is an added plus. I'm looking forward to her role in the upcoming book.

ummm yeah a few bits missing

Strange ending without a lot of loose end tying up TBH but the usual fun adventure overall I guess. Definitely felt too short on story and whilst I’m happy about a few new additions, it really felt like there was no movement in storyline for anyone here or building on the character new or current that we usually get.. weird book this one..

I Loves this series

The stories are funny and page turning with dangerous situations and always so crazy family demands, me and mom read this series and buy them as soon as they come out or preorder .. I realized we weren’t going find who had gassed them… I thought we would at least find out what paperwork was that was with pin,,

An Another Exciting Maggie Lee Adventure

I really enjoyed this book! I was a tad confused at the ending, but maybe the author will explain it a bit more in the next book. However even with this the action never stopped, & our Maggie triumphs again & again.

I was hestitant to start this series. I regret it took me so long to "see what all the hype was about." Very entertaining, funny moments that literally had me laughing out loud in my cubicle (don't tell the boss). Can't wait to read the next book!

Another hit book and not the kind of hit Maggie performs....or more stumbles through. Maggie has really matured and come into her own. The animals antics just keep getting better. But I still miss Gino.
