When a pierced and furious pirate crashes into her life, Avalon finds herself disturbingly drawn to the dangerous male who threatens to tear her world apart.
Avalon As a woman alone in the lawless galaxy, my parents taught me to protect myself, even from intruders like the leather-clad pirate who crashed onto my property. Though his shocking piercings and electric blue gaze unsettle me, my body betrays me, pulsing with desire for him, no matter how I try to resist.
When he offers me safe passage from the enemies bent on killing us both, I have no choice but to accept the aid of this broody male I hardly know and cannot trust.
Now we’re crammed together in his tiny vessel—with only one bed. Can I resist the fiery lust arcing between us like a supernova?
Theos After being shot out of the sky, the last thing I expected was to wake up staring down the laser rifle of a beautiful, ballsy woman. I know I should keep my distance, yet it takes all my willpower not to give in to my need to claim her.
I vow to deliver Avalon to safety, convinced it is the only way to protect her from the greatest threat—me. But I’m too selfish to walk away.
Crowded together in close quarters, how long can I deny what my heart knows—that she is meant to be mine?

The twenty-first story in the Galaxy Gladiators Alien Abduction Romance Series. Theos and human Avalon's story grabbed my interest from the start, this series just gets better with each new story. he had a past he had to overcome if they were to get a happy ending. An engrossing story with a very good storyline that flowed smoothly across the pages. The story is well worth reading. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Theos' sabotaged ship crash lands on planet Paquin after stealing a priceless Medallion for Maloc Vexor. Vexor however, double-crossed him to keep the Medallion for himself and not have to pay Theos for it. And now Theos is stuck on Earth and stumbles upon the human female, Avalon.
Avalon has lived her entire live living off the land on planet Paquin with her human mother and Bahrainian alien step-father. Now, she must decide what to do with the injured pirate in her pit-trap. While nursing his injuries she accidentally triggers a panic attack. Eventually, he tells her about his captivity and the torture he endured as the “pleasure-slave” of his sadistic owner.
To survive, they work together to escape, because Vexor knows where Theos is and is coming for his trinket. Theos is friends with other escaped slaves who live in a place called Sanctuary. He promises to get Avalon to Sanctuary, one of the rare safe places for humans and will take his chances on the run with the Medallion.
Now they are on the run and working together to get the Medallion back to its rightful owners all the while trying to keep ahead of Vexor and a galaxy full of bandits who want the Medallion themselves so they can claim the reward. At the same time, a simple physical attraction grows into something much, much more and threatens both their hearts if one of them perishes.
Will they both survive to collect the reward so they can reach Sanctuary or will one lose the other in their desperate escape?
This is book twenty one and as you can probably imagine, I am a fan of this series and this author. I have enjoyed most of the characters and the family that was built. This book is for Theos, and after what happened to him and Doctore in a previous book, I wondered about their sanity. It’s a relief that he is healing plus gets a mate now. This is Theos’ journey that starts out as a suicide mission. Now Avalon is my favorite heroine. She is kick-awesome fierce and wicked smart. She is a terrific human female who her parents and Uncle prepared her for the hard life as a human. She has an incredible story and her beautiful soul touches Theos and gets through to him for recovery. Theos verbally lashes out at Avalon, multiple times, however he does correct himself before it goes too far. There are triggers and Theos shares what happened to him, to Avalon, from when he was kidnapped at fifteen up to the present time. Read On!
I keep thinking Alana’s books can’t get any better, but I am glad to report I was wrong. I thought Doctore was an emotional book, but Theos is a step above that. You will laugh and cry throughout the book. Theos was abducted at the age of 15 and forced to become a gladiator. The abuse he suffered is horrible. Even once freed, he has spent the last three years being a pirate and doing anything that might accidentally get himself killed. Until he meets Avalon, who forces him to face a few personal truths. When Theos brings trouble to her and her farm, she must rely on Theos to keep her safe. They go on the run in a tiny ship so there is no where to run when things get emotional and tough. How she convinced him to go home and find his parents after being gone for 20 years is brilliant. And the reunion is heart wrenching. Be sure and keep Kleenex handy! This is a full length book filled with emotion, tons of action and finally love. Don’t miss it!
Theos is a Pirate, looking for someone to end him. He was taken as a youngster, and the experiences have left him broken. Running from his last treasure heist he crash lands in a remote area. Avalon has been trained to stay safe, stay hidden, and be prepared to defend herself. With her parents gone now, she is sustaining herself on their farm.
Theos himself is not the problem - but who is chasing him. They must leave the planet, forever. Avalon has never left her farm. She has never seen anyone who is not a relative. The dichotomy between these two is striking and entertaining. The journey is more than planetary, and perhaps Theos is not broken after all. Loved this!
***** I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book *****
Alana Khan’s series about space gladiators who were once slaves ends with this last installment, Theos. I’m not ready for it to be over!!! Theos was once captured along with Doctore in a previous book and sexually abused by an evil female alien who was finally defeated. Theos has never fully recovered, but he meets a female human trying to make a go on a farm after being freed from slavery. Her evil alien neighbors have been trying to force her and other women into marriage to steal their property from them and make them disappear. Theos finally gets his HEA!
Although this book was full of pain as Theos dealt with PTSD, it was also heartwarming. Avalon was the perfect female for him and they came together like two pieces of a puzzle to healing and self acceptance. I have read all of the books in this series and I believe that Theos and Doctore’ hit me the hardest. I found myself wanting to cry as Theos relived some of the torture through his flashbacks. Avalon was wise beyond her years and this book was so well written. Thank you Alana Khan for sharing your awesome talent in yet another truly good book.
This was a fab finale that hit all my emotions as Theos' story unfolded. He meets Avalon and they end up fleeing together for safety. She was wonderful for him and wise beyond her years. Together, Theos gets emotional healing from his past trauma, and she gets security and love, making them so well balanced and perfect together. This book has action, danger, PTSD, and steamy romanced as they worked their way to an HEA. So well deserved and the perfect end for this engaging series. Well done!
I have been waiting for Theos's story. I really loved it. It was a fitting book to end a wonderful series. Poor Theos has so much emotional trauma to overcome. He meets the perfect human female to start the healing progress and find a future with. She saved his life and gave him a future. He gave her security, companionship, and love. I highly recommend you read this book and all the books in the series as well as the numerous spin-off series that go with it.
This book made me cry and when I learned that this is the last book in the series, it made me sad. Perhaps I'd reread all the books in the series someday.
Theo's story touched my heart. What happened to him was heartbreaking, but I am ecstatic he was able to overcome them ,and it's because of Avalon. She had the patience of a saint.
I loved the book, and a great one in ending this series. It ended on a happy note, at peace, content, and happy..
There is so much left unsolved in this series. If you’ve read the entire series you know there is the mystery f the head of Sanctuary Naomi and her trips then the teaser in the very end of this book. I am happy there were happy endings for Theos as well as Doctore. They were so brutalized. I hope my questions will be answered in other books, I love this author.
Wow! This one is amazing! Sexy and spicy as always.. but so much more, too! It's really beautiful to see the healing that love brings to Theos. I absolutely loved it! I loved Theos. His family was so welcoming and loving.. just what anyone would wish for, with that situation. Avalon was just perfect for him.
What a beautiful resolution to the saga of Doctore and Theos. Ms. Khan's unique ability to portray emotions (male, female, human or alien) shines through every book. The hero/heroine's quest from trials and trauma to triumph draws the reader in from the first page. Wonderful, but flawed, characters and detailed world building add to the overall power of the story. Not a book to miss.
You will be grabbing a tissue by the end of this book and wishing it would never end! I thought Doctore was Alana’s best, but nope this one it! What a powerful and moving story…a tale of heartbreak and pain. The plot was fast paced and action packed. Unfortunately it looks like Khan is ending this series with this one. Download and enjoy❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I literally cannot praise this book enough! I read it in one go because I just had to know how everything played out and had to see that HEA for this couple! Honestly if you haven’t read Alana Khan yet, you’re missing out and I suggest you hop on this train! So highly recommended!
I am leaving my honest review after reading and ARC copy.
This story is filled with adventure, heartbreak, stubborn sassy and smart Avalon, gladiator with pain and terror filled memories Theos and their struggles to become friends and more. Alana has delved into difficult subjects carefully and guides her characters well. Locations and characters are well described and I felt as if I was right there in the story. I cried, I laughed, I worried and I was content as I read. But I am so glad this is not the last book in this amazing series.
So very good. Amazing that this is book 21 and other than background information none of Alan's books are repetitive. Each character is fully developed and different from the others. Again each situation is different , also. This makes her books a pleasure to read and look forward to.
Avalon has only ever known three people before him: her mom, dad and uncle. Theos is broken from torture when he was captured and still has flashbacks to this day. They should have nothing in common and yet they do. Despite their difficulties, despite his denial and despite her fears it happens. And the bond becomes strong, but only with a lot of work and determination.
Theos was use to one kind of abuse, physical. When abducted a second time, he learned about mental abuse. In his self abuse towards death, he runs into Avalon. She is a survivor in ways he never considered. She shows him how sometimes going home is the key to survival.
This book had me on such a roller-coaster of emotions. From anger to laughter to heartbreak to joy and back. The main characters had to go through a lot, especially Theos, for their HEA. It was such a great read! I'm sad this is the last one in the series.
I absolutly loved Theos and Avalon! It's amazing, this series always makes me so happy to read. Theos has a terrible past but somehow Avalon changes that. She is such a strong FMC and the time they spend on his ship is so good. Its a must read for sure. Fantastic as always.
Love this series, these people are friends. Theos crashes and then falls into a hole in Avalon' s yard. The two of them have to learn to trust each other as they stay ahead of the enemy. Enjoy
This was a rollercoaster of emotions. Often it is female abuse that is prominent. Male abuse is often dismissed or not featured in booms. Kudos for bringing some of this to light and handling it with senstivity.
I love that Avalon is a Bada** heroine. She has a strong character and physically and mentally strong too! Theos gets a rare chance to reconnect to his family. It’s a real tear jerker moment.
Theos is so broken by decades of unbearable abuse. He crashes on the planet Paquin where Avalon lives by herself. She's known 3 people in her life, her mom and dad and her uncle. But that doesn't make her weak. This story is a beautiful coming together of 2 people who couldn't be more different. Their growth as friends is so touching. Their love shines so strong and pure. I love these Galaxy Gladiator books so much. There is action, yes, but there is also healing and love and beauty and friendship and family and laughter and some tears. If you haven't guessed I fully recommend Theos. I'm sad this is the final book of the series but what an amazing story to end on! I recommend the entire series and all of Alana Khan's books. 5+ stars. Loved it!
This book was amazing. It brought me to tears several times. I have never read a book that touched so many emotions, laughter, tears, anger, and happiness. I read this book in one sitting because it was so good. Theos went through so much, and it was an honor to read his HEA. Avalon was perfect for him, and their story is among my favorites of this entire series.
