A very unique book. Unlike anything I’ve read before. It feels like reading a transcript of an interview with Catherine de Medici. I’ve never read a book written by a psychic before and it was interesting. I enjoy historical fiction as I’m a massive history nerd and this book kind of fits within that genre, but I’d claim it’s a genre of its own.

Which makes reviewing quite difficult, so I’ll focus on grammar. There were a few errors and the dialogue was awkward, but I can understand that as the book was written during meditation and communing with Catherine.

Historical fiction and spiritual readers alike would enjoy this book.

Knowledge is power and to feel is to understand within your heart. What Ms Wright has channeled and shared is not only amazing, but necessary to understand the life and role of Catherine de Medici as a devoted servant to France and as a woman. Well done.

This book was a page turner! I love learning about history and this book was so fascinating because you get a great point of view. Channelled straight from Catherine de Medici.

On a side note the author is a wonderful healer who has helped me on my own healing journey. I am blown away by the story and how the universe ties everything together. Great read!

This woman fell into a hippie Reiki energy cult and was told she’s a psychic. She now believes she shares a soul with a 15th century Italian Queen named Catherine Medici. She’s taken google search snap shots of this woman’s real life and crafted a badly written historical romance drama about a sexually repressed royal who cheats on the king with her royal guard. Super “tropey” and cringe. Lacks creativity or anything resembling writerly discernment. I fear the woman may suffer from borderline adult illiteracy because most of the writing is middle school level but then again maybe she was going for middle grade. I have read much better middle grade books though. In between the “shalls” and “shants” this 15th century princess says things like “Am I right?” or “that’s oh-so-romantic”. The whole thing is pretty unaware of itself and someone should probably tell this Dominique woman.
