Destiny West starting writing professionally in 2000, whilst living in the UK. She is an award winning horror and erotica writer residing in Western Australia. Her work has been labelled blasphemous and extreme, with a no holds barred approach to subject matter.
She also works as a journalist and columnist for a newspaper, where she practices a more mainstream approach to her writing.

Lamia is a fascinating tale about a female vampire from her abusive becoming to her tragic finale. It's intelligently written and the main character is well drawn. I found Lamia an intriguing and often arousing read.
