It’s not an ordinary book. It’s a collection of the poems of Abdurehman Mohmand Sarabani of Peshawar, a mystic poet from eighteenth century India. A renowned mystic poet of Sufi Order, he is affectionately called Rehman Baba by the Pashtuns . His mausoleum is thronged by people of all ages including women and children . His mausoleum was bombed by the Taliban militants during the recent insurgency but has been restored by the provincial government luckily. Rehman Baba was a humanist with message of love peace, tolerance and respect for the people of the world and condemned oppressors and usurpers. He has been named as the nightingale of Pashtuns by celebrated scholars ❤️
