I absolutely loved this book! I was really feeling bad for Colt there for a while. I loved the chemistry between him and Audrey. While Nico is STILL my favorite, Colt is DEFINITELY a close second!!

Can’t believe this series has come to an end! It’s been amazing reading them from the start and having the opportunity to ARC for all of these books. With every book I think I have found a new favourite but really they are all my favourites!! Well done on another great book to end the Hayes brothers books. Colt and Addie are so cute and I love a fake relationship story! Love the giggles and the games they have to participate in.

Yay, Colt finally fell in love! But Addie doesn't want love, marriage or kids, all she wants is a fake fiance to get her ex and her mum off her back. Maybe the cruise will give them time to get to know each other enough to make Addie think more about what she wants, but with the tension building between them is it just going to be a holiday fling?

This was my favourite couple of the series. Audrey was just so fun to get to know and love and Colt is just a big idiot who wants to protect those around him. Colt’s love story was different than the rest of the brothers and although everything happened too fast like the rest, I did enjoy how these two fell in love.

Previously on the Hayes Brothers… all of his brothers are married & expecting kids and Colt feels... left behind.
Too Long starts three years after #5. But for Colt, nothing has changed. He drowns himself in work or risks his life in underground races just to keep going. He wants to be settled, to build a family. But he just can't find someone who wants the same thing.
Audrey does not want the same thing. In fact, she's looking for a fake boyfriend to escape her parent's pressuring her to get married. But she's so rich that she has no idea who Colt or his family are. So in his eyes, that's one point in her favor. And she's insanely gorgeous, point two. And she fights his advances from their first introduction, point three.
This is an arrangement you don't want to miss. Colt is the perfect fake boyfriend except that he is falling FAST. Audrey's unique family get them both into the oddest situations while attending her brother's week-long engagement party on her daddy's yacht.
My favorite aspect is that Audrey has a lot of anxieties and is constantly written off by the people who have known her the longest. But Colt sees her, her fears and gives her grace for the first time in her life. When she falls into danger, he gives her the push she needs to save herself. When they finally give into their attraction, he DELIVERS - again and again and (despite her protests) again and again hahaha. Being a certified hothead has translated into STAMINA. It also means that he endures every test that her family throws at him and that perseverance stole my heart.

First off a big thank you to the author and her team for giving me the opportunity to read the book before it’s release (which is Nov 7th, btw)
Too long is the last book in the Hayes brothers series. It’s a series of interconnected standalones but I do recommend reading all of them and in order because that makes this so much more special!

This book was EVERYTHING to me!! I love every book in this series and the MMC just keep getting better with each book (I really don’t know how the author does it) and Colt was no different. He was perfect. Truly.

As the last book in the series, Too Long just didn’t work for me. The story had moments that could’ve landed, but overall… I didn’t like it. The pacing felt off, the characters didn’t grab me the way the others did, and some things were just too much or didn’t make sense.
I kept waiting for it to click, but it never really did. Compared to the earlier books, this one felt weaker and didn’t deliver the emotional impact or tension I was hoping for.

Incredible! What an amazing way to end the Hayes Brothers series! Holt and Addie are a gorgeous couple - I love the fake dating trope and this did not disappoint. The build up and tension was so good - you were definitely rewarded in the spicy scenes (hot hot hot!) Anytime Grant appeared wanted to throw him off the boat but I loved how Addie stood up to him. Loved all the family interactions and hints back to previous books (Nico will always be my favourite 😂) I will always recommend IA Dice’s books as I have never not had a five star read - would highly recommend this whole series and am looking forward to future books!

Colt ist eine wandelnde greenflag, bei der man selbst schmetterlinge im Bauch hat. Ich habe richtig mitgefiebert und mitgelitten und zwischendurch oft schmunzeln müssen!
Absolute Empfehlung für ein Buch zwischendurch. Die ganze Reihe ist der Hammer.

I can’t not even put into words how I devoured this book! I feel so lucky I was able to receive an ARC copy.
Colt was everything and more. I could tell now why he is the most like Nico as mentioned in ‘Too Sweet’. Let just put it this way, if Colt wanted six orgasms out of me I wouldn’t be complaining. Addie is a fire cracker and I LOVED that she was English. Reading some on the British insults in these books made me so happy and that might sound silly but it made me love them even more🫶🏼
I love the fake dating trope and this one did not disappoint. I love that all the Hayes were apart of it especially my book husband Nico🥵

I love this book so much more than the last two. Seeing Nico near the end and how we acted with his daughter made me cry. I love Colt and Addie so much. Again I had one of my favourite tropes which was fake dating and one bed.
I was so excited reading this, but I was also so sad because the series came to an end.
I really don’t understand why in Connor’s book Rose appeared because she didn’t even change anything to the course of the books following after his book.

I was lucky enough to receive the ARC for this and I could not wait! I adore Colt and Addie and the connection they had been waiting so long for! My fave book of the series, it was definitely worth the wait! Thank you so much I.A.Dice, the series was epic, I can't wait to see what yo come up with next!

Another great love story! These brothers are just so great. I'm sad that it's the end of the Hayes Brothers Series but they all got their HEA's and that's what matters.
Each book made me like that brother even more than the previous brother but honestly I enjoyed them all equally, they were all so good in their own way. Each girl was perfect for them and they were all so happy and started families and I'm so happy that Colt got exactly what he wanted, what he waited for, he definitely deserved it!
There was plenty of spice that was just 🔥 and made you want to be the girl in the book. 😂 I loved how the whole family was mentioned throughout the book so we know how things went for them along with Colt.
It couldn't have ended better!
I'm excited for what the author has next!

They have no hobbies, interest aside each other.
Okay. Colt kinda has one. But it is not talked a lot.
Almost everything is written how it happens it the book
Chapter one Colt calls his sisters in law baby making factories or closed baby making factories.
Audrey's brother about his fiance
"That's different. Amara's only job is looking pretty, acting classy, and cooking my babies in her oven."
Audrey's brother says that their mother has her best interest in mind. What is the best interest?
She wanted her daughter to marry Grant.
Audrey (15, 3 months to 16) was dating Grant(21). Grant slept with someone because she was not ready for that. Her mother is saying that he was a child then and he is a man now 🙃 He said that he will stop cheating when she will be ready. He proposed to her on her 18th birthday party in front of 200 people - she said no. He proposed a few times after that. During the cruise he told her that she gives him a lesson with dating Cole.
Also her mother wants to her marry someone with 10 digits on their bank account. Grant has 3 billion. But he is getting there so Victoria is happy.
I think Amara (Audrey's brother fiancee) has a thing with Grant. She throws herself at him all the time and he calls Audrey and Amara pumpkin.
When Grant flew on his helicopter he gave Ben (Audrey's brother) a gift for Amara and Ben said that it will occupy her for hours.

And spoon was not replaceable. Disgusting. Dangerous. Amara did not participate.
There was a bonfire and Colt was thinking about taking the stick from Audrey because she is so delicate that she would hurt herself 😐
Colt said that the brothers got into a fight because one of them did not let someone else except the mother hold their child🙃
There is a moment when Audrey wants to leave the ship because she had an argument with Grant and Colt hit him and the answer that Colt has is obviously 18+.

Another task in that stupid game
They play catch the flag or whatever and obviously that dumb b1tch to avoid being tagged obviously goes on some obviously old bridge with and she is obviously scared and obviously Colt has to rescue her and obviously he thinks that he will jump if she falls.
But also she is not distracted enough to scream at Grant "Get the helicopter, you knobhead!" And "It's your fault I'm here!"
Yeah. He made go on that bridge. Everyone at fault just not miss perfect.
"What are you waiting for?!" Addie yells at Grant again. “Get the helicopter, you daft git! Lift me out of here!" Then she turns to me, too abruptly, making the bridge lurch violently. "Where the hell have you been?! Don't just stand there like an idiot! Do something!"
There are people who do need that helicopter and that resource should not be wasted on idiots like her.
And when he tries to be collected and forces her to tell him if she is hurt he is using Good Girl😭😭😭😭
And obviously they go on themselves when they are back in their room because it is the answer for everything 🤦🤦🤦🤦
And this is the moment when he realizes he loves her. After 5 days😭

So Audrey told Colt she does not want marriage and children.

But Colt actually does make sense when he asks his brothers why they wanted to get married and says

Not a plus because that is a normal behaviour.
And what made me laugh is that after two weeks he can smell peaches and sugar in his car😂
And then Colt is an a-hole again. He decides that he want her want to be with Audrey.

I am absolutely devastated that I have finished this series! I’m going to be morning for the next five business days😭
This book was super cute. I love a fake dating trope and realised I haven’t read one in a long time so as unrealistic as the timeline was (falling in love in five days??? Bffr) the book was incredible. I love colt! Also Addie being richer than him was funny as fuck because she’s talking in billions and then he’s talking millions and her mom thinking that he was less than for being a millionaire and not a billionaire was crazy but very funny😂😂
Again another cute love story loved both the characters and as usual loved the cameos from the other brothers and their sister wives. Overall I still can’t pick up my favourite brother was but the triplets were my top and then Logan!

À la fin du tome 5, lorsque j'ai vu que Colt avait eu un accident très grave, j'ai vraiment cru qu'il allait avoir des séquelles monstrueuses. Heureusement, il s'en est remis.
Colt est un homme très surprenant, je le pensais d'où très gentil, calme ce qui est vrai dans le moment normal... Mais lorsqu'il va du côté de la sexualité, il change complètement de personnalité et je le trouvais très très très très attirant ! Et qui semble apprécier de dominer sa partenaire.
Ils se sont mis à l'écart de ses frères ils sont tous cassés mariés et heureux avec leur famille, il a besoin de sentir l'adrénaline dans les courses de voitures alors qu'il a eu un accident qui lui a failli coûter sa vie.
Ta relation avec ses frères semble s'effriter au début du roman.
J'ai eu vraiment l'impression qu'il était vraiment malheureux d'être seul et de ne pas avoir de femmes et d'enfants comme ses frères.
Puis, Conor et Cody l'ont emmené à une soirée de célibataire où il va faire la rencontre d'une Britannique qui n'a pas sa langue dans sa poche surtout lorsqu'elle est un peu pompette !
Il va l'accompagner en prétendant être son petit copain sur une croisière en famille pour les fiançailles de son frère. Il semblerait que la frontière entre le faux petit copain et le vrai petit copain ne tienne qu'à un fil ~
Il possède les caractères typiques de ses frères jaloux, je dirais même que cela doit être un gène récessif dans la famille des Frères Hayes ! Lorsqu'il tombe amoureux d'une fille, il ne faut surtout pas essayer de leur piquer ou même de la toucher au risque de perdre des dents ou pire.
Audrey, une très jolie femme qui ne souhaite pas se marier et être indépendante.
Elle doit ramener un faux petit copain pour que sa mère arrête de vouloir la marier avec un autre homme.
La relation avec sa famille surtout avec sa mère est vraiment très compliquée, dès le départ, je ne pouvais pas blairer sa mère même à la fin.
Par contre la relation avec son père et son frère est vraiment très bien, j'ai vraiment vu cet amour paternel et fraternel pour elle.
J'ai vraiment apprécié le côté rebelle qu'elle possède contre sa famille qui est très riche même plus riche que la famille des Hayes. Elle est tout le contraire de ce que sa mère voudrait et cela me fait vraiment sourire pas mal de fois dans le livre.
La relation amoureuse avec Colt se développe tout doucement tout au long du roman ni trop vite ni trop lentement. Il y a beaucoup de désir entre eux même si au début Colt essaie au maximum de résister surtout lorsque Audrey a un peu bu. Il a des principes, il respecte cela à chaque fois.
J'ai trouvé ça chouette que pour une fois, ce soit Audrey qui revient auprès de Colt, j'ai remarqué que souvent, c'étaient les frères Hayes, ils revenaient vers les femmes des tomes avant. Enfin, non le tome Conor et Vivienne et un peu comme ça aussi.
Il y a aussi beaucoup de non-dits et d'incompréhension parfois entre Colt et Audrey.
À un moment du livre, Colt se dispute fortement avec ses frères concernant les courses automobiles. Grâce à cette dispute, il a pu dire ce qu'il avait au fond de son cœur et inconsciemment, je pense que cela lui a permis d'ouvrir les yeux sur le bonheur et la force de l'amour pour une personne.
J'ai vraiment apprécié cette saga qui nous montre différents types d'amour et différents types de personnes.
Lecture agréable sans prise de tête, la description des personnages et des paysages sont vraiment bien décrites.

Commençons à parler d’Audrey, ahhh cette femme elle a un vrai tempérament de feu, même si elle a ce petit coté vulnérable qui donne envie de la prendre dans nos bras surtout à cause de sa mère et son ex 🤮
On sent qu’elle veut vivre sa vie sans qu’on lui dicte quoi faire et elle est prête à tout pour parvenir à ses fins 🤭 on adore ça, j’ai adoré qu’elle se livre petit à petit à Colt. Mais elle a du mal à s’exprimer sur ce qu’elle ressent, et je dois avouer que j’avais envie de la secouer par moments surtout le passage avec son père, j’étais en colère contre elle. Mais j’ai adoré son personnage et elle m’a même fait de la peine par moments surtout par rapport à sa phobie du vertige.
Colt colt colt, je dois dire que c’est mon 2eme Hayes préféré, Cody reste le premier dans mon coeur mais il arrive en second et mon dieu je ne suis pas déçu de son personnage, il m’a serré le coeur plus d’une fois à tel point que j’ai eu les larmes aux yeux. A la fin du tome 5 j’ai eu peur pour lui honnêtement, mais on en sait plus au début de ce 6ème tome et il m’a fendu le cœur. Il veut ce que tous ses frères ont, une femme, une famille à lui, il le mérite tellement mais il a l’impression qu’il ne l’aura jamais jusqu’à ce qu’il rencontre Audrey. Ce n’est pas quelqu’un qui se livre beaucoup mais quand il le fait mon dieu c’est tellement touchant 🥺 il aime l’adrénaline, c’est ce qui lui permet de se sentir vivant. Et bon sang, tous les frères Hayes ont cette possessivité qui nous donne clairement chaud 🔥🔥
Il aime dominer, mais ça on en avait déjà eu un petit aperçu, clairement c’est un Nico miniature 🤣 il découvre une facette de lui beaucoup plus possessif et territorial et ça on adore 😍 Et puis bordel c’est un putain d’homme capable, rahalala, j’ai même pas les mots 🥹
Sa relation avec ses frères est toujours aussi forte malgré qu’on sent que ce n’est plus tout à fait la même chose car malgré tout leur amour il sent que c’est différent et se sent à l’écart vu que c’est le seul à être encore célibataire. Et ça fait mal au cœur de se rendre compte que ça le blesse profondément.
Les deux là ? Mon dieu ils étaient faits pour se rencontrer clairement. Aux premiers abords c’était mal parti, surtout à cause d’Addie qui cherchait un petit ami à amener à la fête de fiançailles de son frère et clairement Colt lui plaisait et elle voulait le revoir après 😅 en bref je trouve qu’ils se complètent à la perfection, il est dominant et elle aime ce côté soumission (en privé bien sûr 🤣) sinon elle a son petit caractère, croyez moi 🥹 mais j’ai adoré qu’ils se découvrent et se comprennent malgré la situation rocambolesque dans laquelle ils se trouvent, j’ai adoré les voir interagir et nom de dieu que c’est chaud entre eux 🔥🔥🔥
J’aime toujours autant cette trope de found family, car la famille est présente même si moins que dans les autres. Les triplés m’ont fait énormément rire avec rencard express. Et comment ils étaient investis dans la mission de Colt et Audrey 🤣
Ici la famille d’Addie est clairement plus en avant vue qu’on fait un séjour sur un yacht de luxe 🤣 mon dieu sa famille on peut en parler 2min ? Qu’est-ce qu’ils m’ont saoulé, tous sauf le père, mais la mère, la belle soeur, son frère pff n’en parlons même pas j’avais envie de les encastrer, j’avais l’impression que les sentiments d’Addie n’étaient pas pris aux sérieux et ils minimiser ses peurs mon dieu c’était énervant.
En bref cette histoire a été un véritable coup de cœur pour moi, je suis triste de quitter cette famille qui aura mon cœur a tout jamais 🥺🥺 on voit tout ce qu’ils sont devenus et ça m’a fait plaisir, jusqu’au bout j’étais dans le déni d’avoir terminé cette saga 😭
