This is part of the Naughty or Nice series that started and ran for 12 months last year that "littles" and "boys" wrote letters to Santa describing and asking him to bring them their perfect "Daddy". This one is part of this year's Naughty and Nice series, Season 2. It, like season 1, again features the Cuffd Club's, letters to Santa....only this time they are written by the "Daddies" describing and asking Santa to bring them their perfect boy who may or may not be a "little". Six years ago, Smithy lost his boy, Den, when he tragically died after an allergic reaction to a blood thinner after a routine surgery. Since Den's death, Smity has only existed, but not really lived. Smithy's best friend, Kaden, is a restaurant owner, who invited Smithy to attend a surprise birthday party for his boy Paulo, but he never expected running into...literally...a beautiful boy with "Angel Eyes". Jessie, who works as a chef for Kaden. Smithy and Jessie have an immediate attraction, but it still takes nine long months for Smithy to accept that Jessie, who he will forever call "Angel Eyes", just might be what he needs to heal the heart that Den will always reside in... but just maybe there might be room for two boys. I loved the fact that Jessie never wanted to replace Den, but only wanted to join him in Smithy's life and heart. The Christmas scene with Jessie gift to Smithy, will bring tears to the hardest of hearts. I have truly enjoyed working my way through the Cuffd Dear Santa letter books from both the Naughty and Nice Season One and Season Two collection. Each book is written by a different author and, though based on the Dear Santa letter premise, can, and are, as different as each of the author’s writing them. I sincerely hope there will be a Season 3.
This started good and I was really enjoying it but by about halfway through I was bored out of my skull. I actually said the words "thank God it's over" when I reached the end. It was just the same repetitive thing over and over and over again. The couple gets together very early in the book and there is no drama or angst or conflict or anything. What could have been a good book was honestly just boring. There was a lot of potential here to have an emotionally deep book with a lot of character development but the author really dropped the ball and instead gave us a book where the MC's do the same thing for 70% of this book and it's talked about after the fact instead of giving us content where they're actually doing things and having conversations.
First of all, Kaden is the worst. Like, THE WORST. He is not a good friend AT ALL and I honestly feel bad for Paulo.
There needs to be some serious editing here. I don’t know if this author has any alpha or beta readers but finding a dozen typos by 10% is too much.
There is WAAAAAAY too much internal dialogue. Like, it needs to be cut by at least 60%. This book dragged because of it.
And I’m sorry, but if you’re throwing out I love yous and life commitment plans, MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD HIM YOU DONATED YOUR SPERM TO HIS SISTER’S WIFE. Like… omg once I got to that part I was done.
This book could have been cute in some ways. But it was impossibly long and some of the characters really unlikable. Throwing in the baby daddy stuff at the end was just unnecessary and bizarre.
I just need to stop reading this series.

HIS BOY TO TEASE is part of the Naughty or Nice Season Two collection, and we rejoin the boys from the La Trattoria Di Amore series. This time, it's Smithy's turn and we find out more about why he is single and what it is he wants. We get a small prologue as Jessie and Smithy meet for the first time, and then we jump to current times as Smithy is trying to find Jessie.
One thing I will say is that Kaden (from Made to Submit (La Trattoria Di Amore #3) is not the nicest or most considerate in this book. Now, I know what you're thinking - this isn't about him. But in a way, it is, because of his direct actions towards his staff members. Anyway, moving on...
As for Smithy and Jessie, well, brace yourselves, my friends, because they move at breakneck speed. This is understandable considering Smithy's past, but I was surprised at how Jessie seemed so okay with it. There are steamy moments between these two, but the 'big deed' isn't done until later in the book. This doesn't detract from the storyline in any way.
There is a bit of internal dialogue with both Jessie and Smithy questioning themselves and the choices they make. That is about the most angst-worthy you get.
On the whole, I enjoyed this story and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books! Jan 10, 2022
His Boy to Tease is the second book in the second season of the Naughty or Nice series. His Boy to Tease is written by J.P. Sayle.
The book is about Smithy and Jessie. Smithy lost his Boy and with him his Christmas spirit years ago. Then he meets Jessie at a party, leaving a lasting impression of him and his Angel Eyes. With the help of some friends and the Cuff'd app he hopes to find his Angel Eyes. Jessie can't forget the man he met at the party months ago. Then he finds a Dear Santa letter on the Cuff'd app.
I loved their story. It was sweet, sexy, fun, full of feels and very well written. I'm really loving this second season already!!
Jessie and Smithy were ridiculously hot together. Their seggs scenes together were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. And? They are truly lovely together, and I would love to see more of them.
I usually enjoy this author’s contemporary stories but unfortunately this one was a struggle for me. I felt that Smithy forced his hand with Jesse and just kept going. The writing for this one didn’t match up with other books by the author and felt as if it was rushed. I liked the general concept of the story and would have enjoyed it more if the characters had actually met by chance and not pushing themselves together.
Ok, I'm going to start off by saying that this is now one of my top holiday reads ever and I'm still not sure if I want to cry or laugh out loud, or both.
Smithy and Jesse are absolutely perfect together. There is so much honesty and emotion and love between them that it's not hard to get totally swept away with their story. Smithy shows so much bravery in learning to allow himself to love again after the tragic death of his previous boy. Realizing that your heart is big enough for more than one great love can be a bumpy road, and yet Smithy puts his whole being into it when he meets Jesse. Jesse has had two previous daddies - one who just didn't really fit and one who was a controlling and abusive ass! Meeting Smithy was like finding the sun after years of grey clouds and Jesse wants nothing more than to be everything go his Daddy.
I loved how open and honestly both men approached the relationship. They often talked out their differences and, although Smithy was Daddy, he never used the position to lord over Jesse, or bully him. He was also quick to apologize when he was in the wrong. Jesse had to learn to voice his concerns and feelings - something he'd not had before - and also go know when he needed to stand up for himself. Accepting and embracing the place Smithy's first boy had in his heart would usually be a cause for jealousy, but Jesse's heart was big enough to share his Daddy and not feel threatened. At times, the absolute purity of their love brought me to tears, while in the next minute I'd be giggling like crazy over both of their sass and cheek. This book is truly a holiday gem and I 1000% recommend it! Beautiful!
I was gifted my copy of this book, direct from the author and I thank Ms Sayle for it!
Smithy lost his boy at Christmas time a few years ago. Meeting Jessie, with the angel eyes, sparks his inner Daddy/Dom and does something, something Smithy never thought he would get again.
What this book is, right, is the most delicious, sweetest, cutest kinda love story, in the history of ever!
I mean it's just a wonderful Christmas tale, full of super sweet moments, with just a few heart breaking ones thrown in.
Smithy lost his buy a few years ago, and never thought he could have that again. Meeting Jessie though, makes him change his mind. Jessie, too, has suffered heartbreak but very differently to Smithy.
Things move FAST but given Smithy's history, I can see why they do. It's not especially explicit though, and I LOVED that it wasn't. Yes things move speedily, but Smithy wants to tease Jessie before they fully consummate the relationship. I like being made to wait.
While not explicit, it is super hot, with particularly good scene in the gym!
I loved what Smithy does for his sister, and how Jessie reacted to the news, but I found it a bit funny too, how Jessie goes off on one about it!
I could go on and on, but I won't. I'll just say this: read it!
But please make sure you brush your teeth after, it really is exceptionally sweet!
UK. They met, but Smithy had to wait, and now it's nearing Christmas, and his patience is telling him it's time. Smithy's boy died years ago, and Jessie is his future, he just knows it. Smithy, 44, on cover, is tall, strong, solid, built well, and has been a building contractor for 25 years, and is a Dom Daddy. Jessie, "Angel Eyes," 28, is short, blonde, with a tooth gap, green eyes, is sweet, lean, and a Sous Chef at Kaden's restaurant. Smithy knows Kaden, too.
Smithy is enamored of Jessie, a charming boy who needs him. They are perfect together, move ahead slowly, but the intensity and chemistry is hot !
We watch as they go forward, the only issue being how hard and with long hours, Jessie is worked. Their banter is wonderful, the feelings are strong, and their sex is super sizzling. It includes a cock cage and ring, edging, light BDSM, Daddy/boy, and no whipping, but lots of domination, and too many toys.
The characters are deserving and they talk, act, and prove to one another that they belong with each other. HEA. ENJOY !
4.5 stars I'm totally ready to jump into this naughty or nice series again. A good start as Smithy is attending a party at a BDSM club and checking out a submissive. Fast forward 9 months later and the story picks up. Well I'm glad Smithy finally gets the courage to do something that he wanted and denied himself for a long time. Smithy is just what Jessie is needing but they needed each other too. Lots of feels for both these guys, Jesse wanted to be treated with care and love. Whilst Smithy had locked a part of himself away of a Dom and Daddy that's until Jessie got his attention. I felt the characters in this especially Jessie needing love. yah I think Cinderella gets caught by a Daddy. Written with both pov's and includes an HEA. Includes an insta connection, time jump, hot sizzles, messaging app, healing and comfort, baggage and more.
Smithy 44 yrs was a Dom and a Daddy and still grieved for his last boy even with the 6th anniversary approaching. At a party he meets Angel Eyes.... Jessie 32 yrs works for Kaden at the club as a sous chef but had already a Dom to answer too.
I'm a huge fan of Daddy kink, especially when it involves caring, supportive Daddies with sweet boys, and JP Sayle more than delivered on this!
Jessie and Smithy were lovely together, their dynamics, their chemistry, the steamy hot sex scenes, all worked great for me. It was pretty insta-something, but after their first encounter 9 months went by before either of them did something to find the other, so it didn't feel as fast as it could've been. I absolutely loved that they actually talked things out and that despite their age gap they fit so well together.
Overall, one of the best Daddy/boy books I've read. Well-written, sweet, emotional, sexy, with a lovable couple I was totally rooting for, you definitely can't go wrong with this one.
*** Copy provided to Bayou Book Junkie for my reading pleasure, a review wasn't a requirement. ***
Sexy and sweet. Very entertaining. Loved it from start to finish. I would give it a lot more stars if I could. Totally deserving. Daddy Smithy meets Jessie at a party. By accident, maybe? Jessie is there with his current Daddy who doesn't treat him very well. Smithy is immediately smitten with his "Angel Eyes" Jessie. Smithy has been unable to forget about Jessie. He enlists the help of his friends as well as Jessie's roomates. It will take a lot of help from a lot of people to get a chance for the two to be together. Lovable characters. Smithy is the perfect Daddy. Jessie couldn't have a better Daddy. The two are perfect together. I highly recommend.
I am totally enjoying reading this years Naughty and Nice Season Two series they are so good. As I started this book it reminded me of gingerbread a yummy Christmas treat that is sweet and spicy and tempts you to just gobble it all up. From the first page of this fast reading, well written romance you can't put it down, the story was just so much fun to read as we watched this very special love story that evolved between Smithy and his "angel eyes " Jessie, which kept you reading till that very last page, finishing with a super satisfied sigh, thinking to yourself what a great holiday read.
I'm not sure what to say here. I was warned about what would happen since I read spoilers, but I still went through with this. I'll start out by saying that I think it all comes down to personal taste and what you think is appropriate for the certain situations in this book.
I did not like Smithy-- and I'm sorry, but his name is really fucking stupid. There was just something about him and this whole book that just seemed off to me; there was a very heavy tone to this book which is supposed to be a part of a light-hearted Christmas series. Heavy as in dragging-down-your-good-mood heavy. I read most of the Naughty or Nice: Season 1 and those books were pretty good; they were a nice mixture of love and light moments with appropriate amounts of seriousness. This is the first book I've read of Season 2, so I don't know if it was just this book or if all of them will be a bit more serious, but I doubt that. I knew going into this that there would be a man mourning his first love, but since I was also expecting the lovey-dovey lightness of the previous books, this one came across as a huge downer in spite of the HEA. I don't think that this book should have been part of this particular series.
On the surface, it was written well and it had good editing. But for how unexpectedly serious this book was, there wasn't much conflict or subsequent resolution. You would think the conflict would be about Smithy not thinking he's ready for someone new or Jessie thinking that Smithy doesn't love him because he's not over his dead lover, Denby, but no, the conflict is sporadic at best: Smithy interferes with Jessie's work life, but that kind of trickles away.
What I thought would be the biggest conflict and would have shocked the shit out of me if I hadn't read the spoilers, is that Smithy donated sperm to his sister, Zelda, and her girlfriend, Lucy. That's fine, but if you're getting serious with someone, they should be forewarned that there's a possibility of someone else having your child someday. Instead it kind of came up as an afterthought, because Zelda announces that Lucy's pregnant. And this really important scene is so fucking quick, which bugged the shit out of me. Fucking talk to each other! For a book that's so wrapped-up in emotion, this HUGE topic is barely touched on.
Smithy and Jessie very quickly get over this, and good for them; I was able to digest it, even though it felt like it was just crammed down my throat and I was forced to accept it. What I found extremely cringey was that Smithy was calling Zelda and Lucy's daughter HIS daughter. I KNOW, technically that is his daughter, but there's something about that that is so... yucky. Not yucky as in incestuous, but yucky as in, I don't like that he's claiming fatherhood over a child that isn't really his? I don't know how to explain myself better; maybe someone else knows what I'm trying to say. Maybe I'm thinking about it like this: since Smithy willingly gave his DNA to another couple so that they could create a child OF THEIR OWN, Smithy kind of gave up his right to call himself "Dad". I don't know if that's any better or if that makes me sound insensitive, but since I didn't like Smithy in the first place and I never really give a fuck about him, I don't think I really care. (Real-life situations involving this are a completely different story and I have more understanding for them. I just hate Smithy and I really hate how the author chose to handle this situation that they created.)
Jessie was sweet and I liked him as a main character. Smithy was better than Jessie's previous abusive Daddy, but I still think that Jessie deserved better than Smithy. I guess I'm just not sure what Smithy brought to the table other than being a better Daddy than Jessie's ex, spoiling Jessie with nice things, and a good sexual relationship. To me, Smithy was lacking something vital and I'm not sure what that is. Maybe because so much of the book was stressed on the whole "Denby was my first love but that doesn't mean I don't have room in my heart for you too, Jessie", Smithy's characteristics and personal qualities seemed to be hidden behind his grief and finally being able to move on. I feel like the author hid Smithy behind that plot point and didn't make his character shine by himself the way he could have.
Back to Jessie real quick-- personally, I found it a little cringey that Jessie gave Smithy a locket for Christmas with his picture in it AND Denby's, but Jessie also possesses some selflessness in that area that I could never have. I liked how compassionate Jessie was, but it also seemed a little unrealistic and since the author already made the tone of the book real heavy, they could have played around with more conflict in that area.
This review is a little all over the place but I hope you get the gist of it. While the writing was good, this book did not belong in this series. But since it is, that fact completely skewed my view of this story since I was expecting something a lot more light-hearted to match the rest of the series. I'm sorry, but I hated it and I especially hated Smithy.

Likes: -Premise of getting rid of an abusive partner and accepting a safer partner -Appropriate grief processing and inclusion of friend and family relationships outside the romance
Dislikes: -Consent violations ( if s says work is off limits, requiring him to wear a distracting device during the day is disrespectful of his boundaries). -Application of pain during sexual intimacy (consensual or not, I don’t like it and I am uncomfortable with it, especially as a means to control someone) - Ungratefulness (The romantic leads receive great pleasure from sexual intimacy as well as the gift of new life despite the evil in the words and the appropriate response is “Thank you God for your gracious mercy!” Instead, the Smithy warbles around philosophically grasping after the apparently mysterious divine being that lets him experience unconditional love at Christmas. - Religious bigotry Jesus Christ’s creation of the human body and sex is the reason sexual intimacy feels good. Christ remains divine and the attack on His Godhood on page 289 is presented as an acceptable joke. The author(s) may feel defensive about their choice to portray relationships outside typical socially accepted norms because not everyone is kind to people who are different. But, Christ has continually shown He has regard for the least of these, so keep your blatant disrespect off my God.
I can’t recommend the book due to the religious bigotry in the plot. That stated, aside from the religious bias, consent violations, and unnecessary insertion of physical abuse during sexual intimacy, the rest of the story was average for the genre.
Smithy lost his boy years ago when he died and at a party, he met a guy with Angel Eyes and he can't get him out of his mind, so his letter to Santa on Cuffd is to try and find angel eyes. Jessie broke up with the guy he was with at the time of the party and just concentrates on his job as a Sous Chef. Through mutual friends, they managed to find each other and the question is did Smithy wait too long to find him?
I enjoyed this story with the sensitivity of Jessie and how determined he was to include and honour Smithy's late boyfriend and the determination of Smithy to try and protect Jessie when he was working far too many hours. Between them, they managed to find a way that their relationship worked and I was thrilled that they were very happy together by the end. Easy to read, feel and understand. This book contains mature content with an MM BSDM-like DDLB/ D/s relationship.
✔️Letto!
Per me è ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I really enjoyed Jess and Smithy story, I just didn't care for the ending. It's has a HEA so know worries in that department at all it just lacked something for me.
Jessie and Smithy meet at Smithy friends surprise engagement party, Jessie is dating a donkey's behind at the time and when Smithy sees him his smitten. Smithy us still dealing with loss of his boy four years ago, upon seeing Angel Eyes (Jess) his smitten. Fast forward to a cuff app letter and helpful friends can this two make it work. Read the book to see all the ups and downs of Angel Eyes and his Bear
Deep with all the feels! Past hurts and tragedies color every piece of our characters hearts. They plow through their days wondering if where they are in life is what their tender hearts need. Hoping they are living the best possible lives they can. Pockets of happiness is all there is, right? A chance meeting, unexpected and too brief, leaves both a lonely Daddy and a boy who seems lost although attached to someone else, longing for the electricity that snapped between them. I couldn't put this steamy, deliciously romance to bed! My heart was pounding throughout. Definite must read!!!😘😘😘
When a Daddy who gave up on being a daddy meets a boy who has a daddy that is all wrong for him, sparks ignite. Jessie has been looking for a daddy to take care of him and Smithy is looking to try to start his life again after a tragedy has struck. Fast forward and dreams become reality. In His Boy to Tease , JP Sayle makes us laugh and cry as two lost souls find themselves together . Highly recommend this book, with a lot of heat, a bit of angst but most of all a HEA.
I am so excited that more authors have signed up to do a second season of Naughty or Nice books this year. This time it is the turn of the daddies to write their letter to Santa in the hopes of finding their perfect boy.
This book totally hit me in the feels! I loved how accepting Jessie was of Smithy’s past and how he didn’t look to erase or ignore his experiences but incorporated his past into their future. I loved how strong Smithy was and how protective he was over Jessie and how he allowed Jessie to be just as supportive to him.
Smithy is a serious Daddy with a broken heart. Jessie is a cheeky boy with a broken past. Smithy has lost his Christmas spirit and knows his Cinderella boy could help restore it. This story brought me to tears, both sad but most happy. This just brought me so many moments of joy. This isn't strictly a Christmas book but a lifestyle these characters enjoy and thrive in. This is a stunning collection of Authors who are involved in this SERIES. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS NAUGHTY OR NICE SEASON TWO!!!!!!!!!!
This book is part of the second season of the Naughty or Nice series. This features Smithy, who lost his boy years ago, and Jessie, who is a boy but in a toxic relationship. They met at a party 9 months earlier and Smithy thought of him as Angel Eyes. Fast forward 9 months when Smithy realized he can learn to love again after his loss. Through the help of his friends and the Cuffd app, they get together. This is a romance dealing with loss, learning to love again with great communication between them.
I received a copy of this book from the author for my review.
This was quite an emotional Christmas Daddy/boy story. My heart aches for Smithy. Six years after losing his boy, he meets Jessie and feels like it may be time to open his heart again. They meet at a party but Jessie is already in a relationship. About nine months later Smithy is finally going to approach Jessie with the help of a few friends and a dating app. There was plenty of sweet moments as well some hot bedroom action. I loved Jessie's nickname and the supporting characters were fun.
