Deborah Bladon had never read a romance hero she didn't like. Her love for romance novels began when she was old enough to board the bus, library card in hand to check out the newest Harlequin paperbacks. She was a Canadian by heart, and by passport, but you could often spot her in New York City sipping a latte and looking for inspiration for her next story. Manhattan was definitely her second home.
She cherished her family and believed that each day was a gift for writing, for reading, and for loving.
DNF - I love Bladons books unfortunately I could not get on with this one. I feel like influencers are shoved in our faces all the time these days on social media and the last thing I want to read is that being the fmc’s job.
Outstanding! When a Bladon book lands in my Paperwhite I know I’m in for a fantastic day of reading! I absolutely love the writing, the story and the connections to other books. This is definitely a standalone but the Calvetti dynasty is a work of art!
This book is a must read! Seriously, you’ll thank me!
This was Dominick's Best friend Daniel and Dominick's Sister Gina's story. As you know, the Calvettis are very close knit family. I love the dynamic around that. So much love and care and hilarious banter. Daniel and Gina both have had feelings for each other but both thought it was unrequited from the other. So while in Vegas celebrating Dominick's and Arietta's (My favourite couple from XOXO) bachelors Party, Daniel and Gina get married after 1 too many shots. It was ON Daniel's dad's wish list that he is trying to tick off. Next day it was all doomsday. Now read and see how that works out. What will his best friend say? Can they save the marriage before annulment? Will Gina finally see that Daniel Loves her? Very angst and frustrating at times because just kiss already will you haha. Daniel was so wonderful. The way he did little things to make her smile or give her compliments. She never caught on until she realised he means it all. As always my favourite character is Marti. I love how she is constantly feeding her grandkids and she decides what they eat I her restaurant. That lady knows and sees everything. She is hilarious too. I can’t wait to read about Dr Gain next.
“I know we already did it our way.” He laughs. “We had our first dance after our honeymoon and our first bite of wedding cake when we thought we were getting an annulment. You got your something old, new, borrowed and blue later than you should have, but this is us, baby. This is our wild love.”
✦ A brother’s best friend romance, a seven-year age gap, he falls first, honoring a deceased father's wishes, Las Vegas shenanigans, secrets, forced proximity, fun and flirty banter, strong friendships, and devoted family. Dual POV.
Gina Calvetti has had her heart broken too many times that she has sworn off love and getting married. However, her sister Bella has predicted she’ll be married before her twenty-ninth birthday which is in less than a month. Gina refuses to think about that during her weekend in Las Vegas to celebrate her brother’s upcoming nuptials with her immediate family and her brother’s best friend Daniel Lawson. Daniel has been a close part of the Calvetti family for years but lately, he and Gina have been bickering a lot due to a recent disagreement. They keep running into each other in the resort and after some shared cocktails and reminiscing, they begin checking off some wishes that Daniel’s deceased father had wanted him to do. When the weekend comes to an end, Gina is ready to put everything behind them but Daniel is not ready to do that. He wants more with Gina and is hopeful this opportunity will change her mind.
This series is so much fun. I just love the Calvetti family. It was great getting a little bit more of my favorite characters Dominick, Arietta, Bella, and especially Grandma Marti with her love of feeding those she cares about. This is my honest opinion, freely given.
This love they have had since Gina was a young teenager, waiting to grow up to tell Daniel that she was in love with him, of course he was older and never realized how much he adore her and wanted her until he was older. This story was absolutely hilarious in some ways during their relationship. Going to Las Vegas, while her own brother was there to celebrate his engagement. Gina and Daniel were drinking heavily and decided to get married. The next morning realized that they were married , Gina wanted to get the marriage undone because she simply didn't want to be married to Daniel. She left on a early flight back to New York and when Daniel realized that she did so, he ended up being on the same flight...... That's really when this story begins...... Enjoyed reading this author story. Hot and definitely delicious . ENJOY!!
Deborah once again gives us our favorite family. Gina had a crush on her brother's friend forever but knows it isn't going any where. Daniel left New York because he couldn't watch Gina with any other man. They meet in Vegas for a weekend celebrating the upcoming wedding of her brother. After indulging on shots Daniel gets a tattoo and Gina hears Daniel's dad saying on a voice mail his he should marry Gina. They decide to get married. Each of them don't want to let the other know that neither wants an annulment. It is so worth the reaction see how they start to fall in love and it makes you root for them to get the happily ever after. Of course visiting with Marti at the restaurant always is a treat.
I always had, and will forever love the Calvetti’s. I saw glimpses of Gina throughout the story lines of the rest of the clan and I liked her immediately. Gina and Daniel - perfection! She had a crush on him, he fell in love with her. Their frenemies sort of situation, all that love-hate bickering, the chemistry, the to do list that is the final push.. I loved everything about this story. Gina and Daniel were made to be, and Oh Lord did they create fireworks together! Recommend this book 100%!!! If you’re new to the universe that @deborahbladon created, start at the beginning because you will NOT regret it one second. Run to amazon and start on reading !!
I read this book in the matter of a few hours and while it was fast and short, I just did not feel connected with the characters. Gina was a bit haughty and while Daniel was sweet and loyal, their entire relationship seemed too good to be true. Also, I usually like the accidental wedding trope but there was nothing special about this one. Gina's family did not even get to know about their marriage until the very end, which was unrealistic considering she kept mentioning how close she was with her sister Bella. So while this was a sweet, lighthearted read, I did not like it as much as I thought I would've tbh.
Ladies and gentlemen meet the Lawtons. Daniel and Gina had always had love for one another, but had never ever told each other. Everyone thought they should be together but it never happened. Daniel was Gina’s brothers best friend. So he was already like family. The Calvetti family were close and Gina’s grandmother Marti the family matriarch, fed everyone with love. The group went to Las Vegas to celebrate Dominic upcoming wedding. As we all know what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay In Vegas. Daniel and Gina coming home married was no different. Good story.
Another five star must read!! Absolutely love Gina and Daniel's love story. Loved Gina and her one liners to him very funny and Daniel always loved they always loved each other just couldn't express it to each other. Was a beautiful sweet and emotional story. Love the love the family has for each other the friendships Marti is an amazing grandmother. Wild Love is amazing!! You rock Deborah Bladon!
Daniel and Gina have a very unique story especially since he has been in love with her for years. It’s funny bc it takes a while before he realizes. Gina hates him at the beginning of the story but we the truth comes out later about her true feelings.
They have such a unique love story compared to most of the characters Deb has written about. I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t put it down.
I love Marti the busybody grandma. She crops up in each book in this series. Good strong characters and story lines. Had a smile on my face most of the time reading this. It got a tad slushy for me toward the end, but then love tends to do that in real life or rent about it. This author must have really enjoyed all the research into the steamy scenes!
I’m a huge fan of Deborah Bladon’s book. I make it my mission to read them all. Life got in the way and I’m behind reading them. I just read Wild Love and it is one of my favorite books! Daniel and Gina are one of my favorite couples! I love their long time friendship and love! The bantering between them is the best! Such a great read!
Wild Love is the 6th and final book in The Calvettis of New York series. This is the story of Gina Calvetti who we met in the previous books and Daniel who is the best friend of Gina's brother Dominic. I was so happy that Gina finally got her own story and it's fitting that it's the one that wraps up the series. Again we get to catch up with everyone and I have to say my favourite person in the whole series is grandma Marty. An excellent series and well written.
This story is based on friends who have been there for each other for years, yet two of them have had a bit of an attraction for each other. Their back and forth bantering is full of feistiness, fun, and lots of love they have yet to admit. This story will renew your faith in family, friends, love, togetherness and compassion.❤️
Deborah Bladon did it again! I just couldn't put this book down and read it in one day. Loved all of the characters and their stories. Gina and Daniel have been in love for years and by chance, finally got married. And of course, Marti, the matriarch of the Calvetti family "made it herself"!!
It’s a short cute story. I’ve had it on my kindle for a while and couldn’t remember why I added it nor did I remember the summary. Needless to say I started reading blindly. I was expecting angst and criminal activity which has been what I have gravitated to lately. Quite the opposite but a nice change from my normal tropes.
I have always loved Deborah’s books and writing style but the last few have fallen flat. Daniel and Gina’s story is lovely and easy reading, but where is the grit and twist and turns to the plot like the old style Deborah. To be honest it is all a bit too sickly sweet and too good to be true with her recent plot lines. Please let’s have some of the old grittiness back.
I love the book this is been one of the best one so far and looking forward to the next one can’t wait thank you for bringing great reading to my life again you’re an awesome author and I’ll look forward to your next one
Gina has always had a thing for Daniel her older brother best friend . Now that they are both in the same city celebrating her brothers engagement the feelings they have for each other comes to the surface.
I really enjoy how Deborah Bladon’s storyline flows in this book about Gina and Daniel, but sure would’ve enjoyed it much more without the F bombs. They’re totally unnecessary.
Wow! This is such a great story! I loved the characters and the push and pull between them. I loved their friendly, witty , steamy banter and watching their sizzling connection jump off the page. Charming, sexy and fun. loved it!
I've been waiting what feels like forever for this book. Enemies to lovers, check. Best friend's little sister, check. Secret Vegas wedding, check. This is the sweetest love story, that had me both laughing and crying. Daniel and Gina were made for each other
Another great book by this author. I don't like reviews that give everything away so I will just say this is an adult book and please read it as you will love it as much as I did. I highly recommend this book and author.
i accidently read this book.. Social media influencer and and some finance money super rich man.. I didn’t like the story at all and i didn’t feel any connection with the characters. Even smut was bad…
