Tallyho! The elf-hunt continues! The Elf Hunters continue their journey through the bizarre alien world, searching for the fragments of the mystical spell that is their only way back to Japan. When the Hunters reach a town full of fortunetellers, they decide to enlist their help to locate the Elves with the remaining spell fragments. But in that town, the Hunters encounter a strange cult led by an Elf with a horribly evil agenda. Before you know it, Junpei, Airi, Ritsuko and Celcia are taking her on to save the world!
The art is really nice! I was a little wary because I didn't like the cover, but it's honestly really pretty.
I liked almost everything about this volume-- the plot, the characters, the pacing, the world building-- and would like to properly start the series from the beginning. This is the only volume I've read so far, and I guess by some weird chance, it's the only one that doesn't contain any stripping of elves (I still don't know what that's about, especially since this volume has very little fanservice). This book mainly sets up a new and I assume more dangerous villain for our heroes to defeat.
I've learned that reading random manga out of order leads to a pretty bizarre experience. Try it the next time you're at a Goodwill.
