When Tyler King, a beer aficionado, finds himself transported to the magical land of Hagop, he discovers a world filled with cunning dwarves, enigmatic gnomes, brutish ogres, and beautiful women. It seems like the perfect place, until he discovers the real nobody in this magical world knows how to brew a decent beer.
But Tyler knows how to make great beer.
He is going to create an empire of barley, but doing so means a life of adventure, danger, and bitter rivalries. Success will be an epic challenge, but the rewards will be fame, fortune, and the love of the beautiful women of Hagop and-- once they taste his beer-- of the whole realm, too.
Tyler is transported to a different world how he doesn't know a medieval world .
It's a amazing new adventure awaiting Tyler that day at the brewery he just didn't know it yet . He rescues a blonde woman from falling off an catwalk an takes her place falling instead by accident . He falls in vat of beer an swims to the surface an is in a different world he's confused an turned around for he doesn't know how he got here where ever it's is . recommend reading excellent book .
Wait, did the author just got bored and rushed the ending? What was that? So he wins like, just like that? And the next scene is a threesome? When did he wooed the inkeeper? When it passed from somewhat flirting to the harem route? When was this discussed? Things advenced well with Flora, but what the hell was that? Why did he travel? How long was this from the beer competition?
An interesting title and new series by Logan Jacobs focusing on, you guessed it, brewing beer in a fantasy world.
With a new feature around a menu to match the characters drinks and experiences, it adds an element to follow along with the character as we enjoy this fantasy slice of life on brewing.
The majority of the story is about how to brew a flavored India Pale Ale. This is haremlit so there is some good bedroom action and an antagonist to give the story some conflict. I enjoyed the read but you need to have an interest in brewing to really get into this story
This novel is a good beginning of a fantasy world that I want to find out more about it. The characters are coming together nicely, and the main theme is starting to be known. The erotic moments are tasteful and enhance the storyline very well. I look forward to the next installment to this fantasy world.
Started slow and stayed that way. What made it worse for me was the interpretation of the races. The author has a UNIQUE view that's for sure and I just couldn't overcome my prejudice to enjoy his view.
I would rather have seen the M.C. overcome a quality beer vs the low quality effort in this book.
Tyler over came many obstacles to become a brew master. He was thrust into a new area and worked hard to overcome many people who were against him. Can't wait for the next issue!
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was fun and entertaining. The story and characters were interesting and engaging. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. This book is definitely worth checking out.
This was an interesting book with a different precept. It was fun and a new civilization of suspense, subterfuge, drama, action, and romance. Eager for next book.
I enjoyed this read though at times I found it a bit slow. Still the plot was interesting and the characters delightful. I'm going to try the next book and see what happens.
What's not to love about a rousing adventure in a fantasy world with best friends brews and babes! The story was a fantastic read and I blazed through it! I cannot wait for the next one!
I really enjoyed the character building, instead of rushing straight into relationships with the main heroine, Logan jacobs took his time, & I can’t wait for next book
I found the main focus of the story was on revenge of a whinny piece of trash. Not really about Brewing or anything else. Everything is painted in the color of the revenge, boring.
Nice to read a fantasy story around brewing. slice of life and friends and enemies are a bit too stereotypical for my taste. nevertheless was a fast easy read.
Jacobs as created a wonderful world full of exciting characters and a strong plotline. I.am fully anticipating the next in this series. Great work Jacobs!
