With Lily exiled to an unknown dimension, Highacre falls further into oppression as the puppet prime minister’s power goes unchecked. Lily’s advisors must race against the clock to uncover the conspiracy that threatens the tenuous peace with Meridia, but all around them, the net closes in. Can they recover the means to retrieve the queen in time to stop the war?
Meanwhile, trapped in a familiar dimension, Lily finds her world turned upside down. Nothing is as it should be and an unexpected tragedy rocks her world. Wanting to help, but desperate to find a way back to Highacre, Lily is faced with an impossible choice. Will she sacrifice a nation to save the ones she loves?
Return is the second book in author K.T. Holder’s Royal series.
K.T. Holder is a Taswegian who currently lives in Texas with her wife and three small fluffy dogs. When she’s not writing (or pretending to) she enjoys reading, watching documentaries (mainly true crime), watching “documentaries” (ie reality tv), and fulfilling the needs of her fluffy overlords.
A fifteen year army veteran, K.T. decided that she’d much prefer to make things up for a living, and so rekindled her love of writing.
Though pairing a foray into writing with quitting her job and moving internationally may not have been the smartest thing she has ever done, she loves writing (not as much as her amazing, supportive and understanding wife) and is excited about this next chapter (see what she did there?)

K.T Holder wow just wow really loved “Return” can’t believe I finished this book in one day!!!! I have to say that I didn’t know how Lily and her friends were going to get back. And what a surprise and sadness as to how Lily’s family had fallen apart in just 6 months. It it kept my eyes on the pages until the end. One more book which I’m getting now!!!! I’m so excited. Can’t wait and kinda sad that I will be reading the last book “Reign”
