While author Susan Page has a number of books published by established publishing houses, this booklet is very much self-published, typed, inexpensively printed with no graphics and spiral bound. Susan uses it when she gives one of her frequent writers workshops.
This book differs from many others that would appear similar. She deals with promotion of books that authors have sold to publishers -- it is not aimed at the growing self-published crowd.
It's a valuable and quick read, though no author will likely have the time or energy take all the promotional steps Susan outlines. Her advice, however, is helpful in a day when publishers themselves do not undertake much of the promotional work essential to move books off the shelves.
The booklet is available direct from Susan. You can find her via her website at www.susanpage.com.
