AMMIT by Aaron R. Tyler is a paranormal mystery/thriller with elements of horror that help this book shine! Given some of the content in the book I would recommend it for older teens and adults ...

The tale begins with a sea voyage to dispose of a mysterious box in the depths of the ocean off the coast of Ireland, and it would be a short story indeed if that was the last we heard of the box. But the box resurfaces many years later off the coast of Florida, to the detriment of the Stipple family: Ron and Valerie, and their 2 children Michael and Charity.

Shortly after the box is recovered and opened, strange but harmless events occur within the Stipple household, but these become more disturbing and violent and even extend to the school the children attend. Police are brought in to investigate and, as events escalate and the family gets more desperate, a team of paranormal investigators are called in.

Tyler builds suspense slowly but surely. You know bad things are going to happen... you can feel it in his writing... but you don't know just how bad they're going to get or how the family is ever going to be free of the menace that has been unleashed.

This is a great read and highly recommended.

Ammit by Aaron R. Tyler

When Santa surprises the Stipple family with a powerful fishing magnet on Christmas morning, 7-year-old Michael can't wait to try it out. With visions of gold and jewels dancing in his head, they set out to enjoy their gift. But what they pull up is even cooler than pirate treasure...and much more deadly.

Aaron Tyler has knocked it out of the park with Ammit. Like all the best thrill rides, and the book's namesake for that matter, this story starts out fun...almost sweet even...but before long you're holding on for dear life and trying to stop yourself from screaming.

Do yourself a favor and get a copy of this book today...and put it right on top of your to be read pile...You know what?? Just skip the pile and crack it open as soon as you get it in your hands. You'll be glad you did.

Another captivating book by Aaron R. Tyler. His characters become realistic; you feel like you know them. This book fits the horror genre well. It's based on an Egyptian God/Demon that causes a lot of trouble and anxiety for the family that discovered her. The suspense becomes almost overwhelming at times, that's when I needed to take a breather and have a snack. I have now read everything this author has published and there's been no disappointment along the way. I'm looking forward to his next publication, and I'm so glad to have discovered this man's amazing talent.

Ammit, ancient Egyptian goddess, devourer of the dead.

A piece of advice: if you find yourself using a fishing magnet off a boat and happen to pull up a brass box with an inner iron box. DO NOT OPEN IT!! THROW IT BACK!!
In the end, after all the crazy, was it put back to sea? Your guess is as good as mine.

The author told me the book was on Audible with a Virtual Voice.. "give it a try he said".
Hated it. While the voice was fine, not fake sounding, it was monotone.

Impossible to put down!

Ammit had something happening throughout the whole reading experience. Aaron's ability and imagination to create a stunning narrative was in high gear for this book. This was a tale that was woven in such a way that I never saw the next event coming. I was totally sucked into the story.
Aaron, thank you for the thrill.

Of all Aaron R Tyler books this one is my favorite. I love Aaron’s talent for character development and putting the reader in the story. Every time I’m near a body of water I think of this book and want to go magnet fishing.

Page turner

Up past my bedtime finishing Aaron's latest book as once I got into, I couldn't put it down. As with his other books, you think you've figured out in your mind how it will end.......but you are wrong. I will be anxiously waiting for his next release!

Another great book by Mr. Tyler. Although not as graphic as the Twin Tier series, it will keep you glued to the book. Can't wait to see what he comes up with next.
