Oh my gosh, I was so excited to find this book. It was published during that wave of Sailor Moon marketing in the US that brought us such items as Sailor Moon bubble bath. :D I own this book and its companion, Sailor Moon: Friends and Foes. It brings back such nostalgia looking through it... :D Sadly it is high school nostalgia, despite the book being targeted at 6 year olds! :D

Before purchasing Meet Sailor Moon and Friends & Foes, Moonies should be aware that there really isn't that much substance to either book. There's nothing more than selected stills from the 90's anime and covers up until the midway point through the first season.

In Meet Sailor Moon, we get character introductions of all the characters with very basic information, what weapons and companions they have, stills from the anime with "'Insert Power Word' Fighter" cut on every intro. Most of the information provided, as I've said, is very simple. A small blurb that you could have already pieced together if you've watched the 90's anime as Meet Sailor Moon offers nothing new to the franchise. By no means is it bad, the images are good quality but at 16 pages long, the book is an offering for very young readers getting into the series. Are they worth it? If you find them cheap, like I did, pick them up. Though if you're paying a hefty price off Ebay, save you're money and buy the manga or watch the anime instead.

A very cute kids book introducing the characters from the Americanized version of Sailor Moon. Gorgeously made with crisp images taken right from the show, but loses a star due to the fact that it has some canon / lore errors and discrepancies, as another reviewer mentioned. Still a cute book for any fan, though!!

I was a die-hard Sailor Moon fan growing up in the late 90s. Sailor Moon and the Spice Girls were the only thing that existed for me lol

This book is really just an introduction to the characters. It is very short and doesn't tell any story. But, if you like colorful pages and easy to read words, this book is a good one for you.
