Eiichiro Oda (尾田栄一郎, Oda Eiichirō) is a Japanese manga artist, best known as the creator of the manga and anime One Piece.

As a child, Oda was inspired by Akira Toriyama's works and aspired to become a manga artist. He recalls that his interest in pirates was probably sparked by the popular TV animation series titled Vicky the Viking. He submitted a character named Pandaman for Yudetamago's classic wrestling manga Kinnikuman. Pandaman was not only used in a chapter of the manga but would later return as a recurring cameo character in Oda's own works.

There was a lot going on, in a lot of locations, and I think the art style seemed more whirled. Since this was so battle heavy, it almost like blurred. It made it all seem much more intense and made me want to read faster.

I loved the return of and introduction of more of Alubarna's animals. I love that there is a whole squad of the ducks.

I loved Usopp's idea to use the fake 5 ton hammer against Four and Merry Christmas. I'm kind of dumb, because before it was clear that it was fake, I was thinking, 'why hasn't Usopp shown this extraordinary power before?' I knew Four was very slow while doing things and talking, it just hadn't occured to me in that moment that he was just having a delayed reaction. But still, Usopp's move bought him and Chopper some time.

This one was also interesting since we got to find out that the gum gum fruit can also work on inanimate objects. How? Well, they just do according to Merry Christmas. I wonder if at some point this will just come out to be a lie and the dog gun was something else entirely, but I think it would be interesting to see more inanimate objects transformed by the gum gum fruit.

The action really heats up in the book as the straw hat gang is defending Alubarna.
