I had the honor of being chosen to be an ARC reader on this book. I've read all the stories in the series leading up to Brian and Jane's love story so to say I was excited about getting my hands on the story would be a gross understatement. The author had built a fascinating back story for both of the characters in her previous novels and I wanted so badly to see how their stories turned out. And I wasn't disappointed. Brian and Jane both came into the relationship with quite a bit of baggage and both had to work through issues before they could fully let their guards down, especially Jane who is disabled. But throughout the story, Brian continues to be gentle and understanding in a way that helps Jane realize that she is worthy to be loved. The author has a gift of layering her characters to where you truly feel connected to them and the stories that she weaves are so believable you feel like the people just live down the street. The stories aren't wildly elaborate they are stories that could have happened to anyone anywhere and that's what makes you feel so connected. Plus, I love the fact that although each book is a stand alone story, the reader gets a continued update on all the characters throughout the series.
I absolutely love this series and book 9, Saving Her, did not disappoint! The author does such a wonderful job of pulling you into the lives of her characters. You feel their pain, struggles, and love. You cry and laugh. I have loved all of the characters from The Healing Series but Jane really tugs at your heart. She not only has permanent physical injuries to deal with but her emotional trauma is what truly scars her and keeps her from moving forward. Brian has a lot on his plate and is trying to keep his son and job as the main focus. These two can't stay away from each other and the love they share is heart wrenchingly sweet! The author also does a wonderful job of bringing in all of the previous characters and their fantastically amazing personalities to bring the story together, and to continue their own stories with laughter, tears, heartache, and love! If you haven't read this series I certainly suggest starting from the beginning and enjoying them all!
Kelly Seibold puts so much heart and soul in all she writes. Saving Her is the 9th book in the Healing Series and it is one of the best. A workaholic,Dr.Brian needs to learn to ease back on his job and focus on life before he pushes his family away. Jane has had so much tragedy in her life, it pushes her to the breaking point. These two are perfect for each other and you can't help but cheer them on. All the feels are in this story and it leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy inside. I suggest you have the tissues close by while reading Jane and Brian's story. kelly-seibold
Once I opened this, I couldn’t put it down. Brian wants nothing more than to get the chief of staff job at work and his relationship with his family feels the strain the job takes. Jane has so many horrific things that seem to pile on top of each other that she finds herself in the hospital. Brian has been attracted to Jane but will she trust him enough to open up? They both have things to work out before they can move forward and to see these two come together and do that, this is truly one of the best books I have read!
This is the ninth book in the series. And it seems they only get better but i loved them all. Each couple pulled on your heart. Brian has been attracted to Jane for a while but his whole life is his work and family. But when Jane ends up in the hospital again, he can’t deny his feelings and takes her home with him. He wants to care for her himself. Jane feels like she’s to broken, to much of a burden but can’t deny her feelings either. And their relationship explodes.
Saving Her is a beautiful story of love trumping all. A story of a healing and saving and fighting for the love you deserve. A must read.
Kelly has grown so much in her writing. I have followed her entire career and each story is better than the last. Her detail and world building has drastically improved and I am so hooked on her series.
This one kept me engaged from beginning to end and I stayed up into the early morning to finish in one sitting. So much trauma, but beautifully written love story. Reading this series made me feel like I was witnessing the lives of real individuals. So many layers to the characters, and I was so invested in Brian and Jane finally getting to their HEA.
What an incredible book. Brian and Jane have a sweet story and it just kept getting better! This series has been really good and it is nice to get to hear what the characters from other books are doing as well! What a terrific book, so glad to have read it!!!
Jane and Brian story is yet another hit in the Healing Series. Kelly has a way of pulling you in with each book in this series and each one is just as impacting as the one before. This one was no exception. Definite page turner.
