At eighteen, Willow wasn't ready for marriage. Ten years later and she's wondering what her life would have been like if she'd stayed with Chase.
Meanwhile, Chase is engaged and, despite his reservations, is about to marry the supposed love of his life.
When destiny intervenes, Chase and Willow unexpectedly run into each other while in London and are immediately caught up in the lights of this big city and the reigniting spark of their lost romance.
Will running into his old flame fuel Chase's doubts about his impending marriage?
And is Willow ready for something more this time around?
Forever Yours, by newcomer Kylie Koews, is an emotional second-chance romance that beautifully showcases the undeniable connection between two people, seemingly kept apart by the unending challenges life throws their way.

Ummm… what. This is not a romance, despite being marketed as one. The main characters are not in a relationship throughout the book, and they are not an established couple by the last sentence either.
The premise: at the age of 18, Chase proposes to Willow, but she can’t accept and leaves him right then and there. 10 years later, they meet again in a hotel lobby in London where Willow is hired to design the wedding dress for Chase’s fiancée. For some reason, they’re both still mutually hung up over each other a decade later.
This entire book contains cheating from the very beginning, which made it very hard to like the characters or the overall trajectory of the story. The way Chase couldn’t even last a full day from when he first saw Willow in the lobby to then kissing her even though he’s spoken for… and then to get mad when he finds out that his fiancée was cheating on him too? The hypocrisy!
My biggest gripe is that we never got to see them individually as a person outside of each other. If they weren’t in a room together, then they were discussing the other person. I don’t understand why they couldn’t have or weren’t willing to just be friends and get to know these grown up versions of themselves. It felt like they were only allowed to have the extremes of an all or nothing commitment.
The last 10%??? What the actual fuck?? Charlotte, the baby, and introducing a new love interest whom she’s now fallen for in the blink of an eye, even though she’s been stuck on the same person for 10 years? Yeah, okay.
Scenes just kept happening but there was no real depth or time to process anything. I’m left feeling like I still don’t truly know who these characters are and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Willow ended up cheating on Myles, too.
i remember falling in love with kylie’s writing when i read forever yours on the episode app two years ago, and now after finishing this novel, my love for it has intensified even further (which i didn’t think was even possible). the narration is *chef’s kiss* - so heartfelt and beautifully written.
chase kennedy has my entire HEART. just by reading his thoughts about willow and how much he adores her was enough for me to melt into a puddle. and when he called her “sweets” 🥹 fate was rooting hard for these two, just like i have been from the very first chapter. and even though a decade had passed with zero interactions between them, the spark between never faded. in fact, it got even brighter and more intense, and i feel like this time apart only opened their eyes about how genuine their love is for each other.
my favorite part of a second chance novel is the realization of “it’s always been you” - it just hits me so HARD, i can never get enough of it. 🫶🏻 maybe if this was written differently or by another author, i would have not been a fan of the open ending, but i feel like kylie did an excellent job with it. deep down in my heart, i will always believe that these two are endgame.
a big thank you to kylie for sending me an ARC of this masterpiece!

Thank you to Kylie Koews for allowing me to receive an ARC of her debut novel!
I've had the pleasure of being familiar with Kylie's work from a previous platform and it makes me so happy to see her words in novel form! She has a way of pulling at your heart strings, that leaves you both devastated and hopeful for the idea of love. Chase and Willow's story in Forever Yours, is no exception.
It was bittersweet to reminisce on a story I encountered over 3 years ago. I really enjoyed revisiting Chase and Willow through the past/present timeline and even getting to see some of her other characters from different works she's published on Episode. This love story, at the heart of it, is a beautiful testament of how overpowering loving someone can be and how that shapes you into the person you become.
It was a strange conflicting feeling because while the story followed a perfect pace on Episode's platform, I felt that it fell a bit short for me in the novel form, structure wise. It was one of the few times I caught myself wanting more pages to the story. Having the opportunity to transform the work into a book I was hoping some of the intricacies of Chase and Willow's story were flushed out a bit more. Some of the dialogue between characters felt quite static and unnatural and more often than not I caught myself having to reread a previous conversation because of how much narration was in between. The pace of the conflicts that transpired at about 70% of the book also felt a little rushed. I wanted to grieve alongside Chase and Willow for everything they lost, but suddenly there were new characters introduced, a 5 year time jump and then it was over. While the ending was left open ended, it did bring everything full circle for their specific story and I really did appreciate that. I hope it encourages Kylie to publish her other works that could give us a glimpse of Willow and Chase in a not so distant happy future.
It should be noted that some of the topics dealt in this story can be considered sensitive/triggering and because of that I think the book could benefit from a content warning page, just so the reader is aware of what to expect.
Ultimately, I understand, experiencing and even more so writing a story, can be very personal and what doesn't work for some can work for others. Perhaps I'm just being selfish with wanting to know more about these characters that made me fall in love with Kylie's stories. I can't deny that Kylie creates narratives about love and heartbreak as if it's a matter of life or death. You see the passion and the labor of love put into such a touching story.
I truly hope we get to see more of her in the years to come! My heart is ready <3
The last time Willow saw Chase was when he proposed to her in her backyard, and she turned him down. Ten years pass, and Willow is a fashion designer, and Chase is engaged to a classy British woman, despite his reservations and the lingering feelings he still has for Willow. When Willow goes to London to design a client’s wedding dress, she comes face to face with her first love.
TW: car accident, premature birth, infant death
First of all, I want to thank the lovely Kylie Koews for allowing me to read this ARC. It’s an honor to know that she trusted me, a follower she barely knows, with the success of her debut novel.
Second, I am spent. Wow. 🥺
I am familiar with this story from reading it on the Episode platform, but reading it in the form of literature was a whole new experience. The narrations in a book offer so much more depth, and we readers are forced to use our imaginations when it comes to picturing the events in our minds. And to me, that’s what makes reading so much fun.
Chase is one of the new loves of my life. Kylie wasn’t kidding when she said this was an emotional rollercoaster. The angst and longing was so intense it nearly killed me, but in a good way. One of my life’s hopes is to have a love as deep as Willow’s and Chase’s, bumps and all.
Bittersweet as it was, this story was also pretty healing and therapeutic for me. I can’t get over how the time passed and their hearts never stopped yearning for each other. I’m a big believer in fate, and them winding up in the same city after a decade was definitely it, because there needed to be closure before there was any chance of them getting together again.
While I’m not a big fan of open endings, I have to admit it works for Willow and Chase’s story. It may not have given confirmation that things are fixed, but it gives us a hint while leaving us to use our imaginations.
I wish you the very best of luck, Kylie! 🫶🏽

I had the honour of receiving an e-arc of this book! Growing up reading Kylie’s stories on Episode (yes I was a big Episode girl) i found this to be a lovely full circle moment of reading something she’s publishing! I don’t usually read second chance romances, but I think this was written well and I liked the characters and their personalities. Willow and Lina’s friendship was heartwarming to say the least, and Chase and Willow’s relationship had a lot to it that made it enjoyable to read about. The story was emotional, fast paced and I think the characters were very real in terms of their anxieties, worries, fears, and miscommunications. I liked that Willow and Chase were not perfect in the sense of their security within themselves, it made for lovely development as they grew.
I would’ve liked to have seen more about the personal development after some of the events that occurred, but I understand you then run into the chance of making the book too long!
Overall this book was a great, easy read and I feel very lucky to have been given the chance to read it before it’s publishing date!
Thank you to the wonderful Kylie Koews for the ARC!
My heart is fully wrecked.
To say that this is one of the best stories that I've read all year would be an understatement. I have to confess that I first read this story when Kylie published it on a different platform, and I almost immediately fell in love with Chase and Willow.
Reading the same story in novel form more than 5(?) years later is pretty surreal, and I have to say that this medium (as opposed to an interactive/animated form) certainly delivered and established its own unique place in my heart.
Willow and Chase were the quintessential childhood sweethearts. But, then, Chase proposed, and Willow ran away, for reasons known only to herself.
Fast-forward ten years, both Willow and Chase are leading the lives they've always dreamed of as successful adults with rewarding careers. But, it seems that no matter how great their successes, how fulfilled their lives should be, something is missing.
When they find themselves in the same city and run into each other unexpectedly (HOLY CANNOLI THE ELEVATOR SCENE WAS EVEN BETTER IN THE BOOK!), they can't help but acknowledge the truth of their feelings for the other; they never truly got over each other.
Unsurprisingly enough, they choose to reconnect, for the sake of "closure". But, this only brings their long-buried feelings to the surface. And inspite of themselves, hope arises. But, alas, Chase has a secret.
What follows is a rollercoaster of hope and desperation, possibility and heartbreak. It's so evident that Chase and Willow are meant to be together, but they just can't seem to get it right. So, does that mean that they should just... Walk away?
“Kissing Willow Harris is coming up for air after holding his breath underwater. Yes, he’s been underwater for a decade, his lungs ready to burst with the pressure. But now he’s finally broken through. He can breathe again."
"It’s like seeing every color ever created, even the ones that the human eye can’t detect, all at once. It’s euphoric. It’s exhilarating. It’s transcendent. It’s everything. Willow Harris is everything."
This story has now made me cry actual tears for the second time. And as much as I should loathe the ending, I can't help but love it, because it's a full-circle juxtaposition of the past and the present and leaves you wanting more. Just... More.
READ IT.
JUST, READ IT.
You won't regret it!
4.5 Chase Kennedy ⭐️

☕️“Kissing Willow Harris isn’t like coming home but rather more like exploring the world for the world for the very first time.”
☕️“Kissing Willow Harris is coming up for air after holding his breath underwater.”
☕️“The truth of the matter is simple. Willow Harris loved Chase Kennedy in a way she’s never been able to love another. ”
-second chance romance, flashbacks, soulmates, angst and heartbreak, closed door -having read the interactive version of this story first, the book does the same in helping you visualize the beautiful world of Chase and Willow 🎡❤️ -there was a lot of heartbreak involved so prepare yourself for an emotional read -Chase and Willow are the epitome of “it’s always been you” 🥹 -would have loved for a more flushed out ending for the couple, they deserve all the happiness after the emotional rollercoaster that they went through -thank you to sweet Kylie Koews for this eARC! So happy for you and this amazing accomplishment 🫶🏻

I never write reviews but i just have to right now
I have never annotated a book more in my life.
This was the first story I read on Episode that I remember resonating with me for years. Kylie has such a beautiful, lyrical way of writing that just hits the most vulnerable parts of me. I was so so excited for this book the way she announced this release on my birthday, and finally finishing it just made me so 😩✨😭
Thank u Kylie u don’t know the impact you’ve had on my reading career ❤️
“Forever Yours” by Kylie Koews is an emotionally charged second-chance romance that tugs at the heartstrings and reminds us that sometimes fate has its own plans. The story revolves around Willow and Chase, whose paths diverged after a proposal a decade ago. The novel beautifully explores the lingering connections we carry from our past and the ‘what ifs’ that can haunt us.
Kylie Koews skillfully weaves a narrative filled with poignant moments, lost love, heartbreak, and the eventual rekindling of a profound connection. The characters’ journey, particularly Chase’s doubts about his impending marriage and Willow’s readiness to embrace a second chance, keeps readers engaged and emotionally invested.
As a reader, I found myself shedding both happy and sad tears while traversing the pages of this book. The story’s ability to evoke such strong emotions is a testament to the author’s talent in crafting a compelling love story. It’s a testament to the power of love and the impact of timing on our lives.
For those who may have discovered this story on the Episode app and are now excited to experience it as a book, you’re in for a treat. Kylie Koews has brought her characters and their love story to life in a way that will touch your heart and leave you pondering the possibilities of a love that refuses to be forgotten. “Forever Yours” is a must-read for anyone who enjoys romance novels that explore the complexities of love, timing, and second chances.
first off, huge thank you to Kylie for the ARC! i loved every second and cannot wait to see what you have in store next :P
Chase and Willow’s story has had me in a chokehold since I first read it as an interactive story years ago. Reading it as a novel now is surreal. And, no, knowing what was coming didn’t make the pain any easier. But chapter after chapter, I relived the heartbreak. Welcomed it, really. Just be sure to have a fresh box of tissues at the ready because this one really packs a punch. Chase and his damn cashmere sweater had me melting and swooning nearly every chapter. Between the present moments and the flashbacks, my heart was constantly aching for the two of them. The love they share for each other is so painfully deep that I felt it in my bones.
I’m not typically a fan of third person narrative, but I think Kylie has converted me. If you’re looking for a book to bring you a rollercoaster of emotions, Forever Yours should definitely be your next read.
This was such an emotional read and such an amazing second chance romance. The way Chase and Willow were written brought them to life for me, I loved that. Everything that happened felt so real. I’m glad for the opportunity to have ARC read this amazing story.
*a huge thank you to Kylie for sending me the eARC of this novel and a huge congratulations on your debut novel!*

"Sometimes forever isn't yours..."
As a lover of the original story on Episode, I was so excited to dive into a novel version of the story to see what it would be like. Their stories reimagined into a different medium. This story has so much of what made the original special, but with new things added and redone to make it more suited as a novel.
Definitely excited to see what is next for Kylie! Congratulations again!
And I genuinely love the dreamy prose Kylie has written. Her writing has always felt attuned for a novel and it still remains true for this story and I think the novel does a great job of showing the reader about the kind of love that is as everlasting and enduring as Chase and Willow's is. Their moments together were definitely still my favorite parts, from the way they always subtly remembered one another to the way they were always magnetically drawn to one another. Kylie also does a great job of illustrating the heartbreak that comes when it is the right person, but how time can ultimately keep you apart.
Kylie does a great job of bringing to life the way many people tend to feel when their first love or when their first major ex comes back. The rush of emotions, the feeling of comfort and confusion, to even those what-if's we often pondered once or twice at the back of our minds.
But given all that, I do wish there was still more of the novel, simply because it would have been great to see a deeper exploration into each character and also some parts of the story that were originally not as discussed in the original version. Maybe seeing more into the time they were apart, the time they spent apart after they broke up the second time, or even just more about how they coped after the downfall of all these emotions. As much as some authors prefer to not make their work too long, the story definitely still had room to extend it to be able to fully round out the plot it had laid out for the reader.
The last 10-15% especially felt especially fast, with so many things happening, new people, and new characters coming in, there was a want for this part to be slowed down and more detail added to it. I also struggled a bit with the changing of POV's as they happened in the middle of chapters at times and because it isn't visual the way the original was, it was a bit harder to follow along with. This story also does deal with some traumatic topics, so definitely could have used some form of a content warning for anyone who could be triggered.
And lastly for the ending, I appreciated the openness of it. Obviously some people would have preferred a more concrete idea of what would have happened, but when it comes to two entwined souls like Willow and Chase, it makes sense that no matter what happens, their hearts are always going to belong to one another.
Forever Yours follows the realistic and tangled lives of Chase and Willow, two former lovers who are truly destined to be together (Alexa, play Invisible String by Taylor Swift). I really enjoyed reading this novel in the visual format on Episode and was very excited for it to be turned into a full length novel!
I really enjoyed the prose, Chase and Willow's feelings were written about in a very pretty way. I definitely found myself wishing there was more to the novel, especially around the 60% mark. Reading the Episode version told me what to expect but with the plot, I kept expecting things to be cut, I would happily read another 50-100 pages of this so that more of their romantic connection, love story, and drastic hurdles could be shown and really felt.
As a reader, I slightly struggled with the flashback formatting and the POV changes. The flashbacks didn't happen in much particular order and I found myself actually wanting more of them, with some structure (e.g. opening each chapter with a small flashback to slowly unfold the story of their past). POV often switched from Willow to Chase's within the same chapter/section, and while I'm sure this was stylistic on the author's part, I'd prefer the chapters to swap between Chase/Willow/Chase/Willow rather than blending them.
The open ending was something I don't see too often, but I honestly enjoyed the subtlety. Even though it's left open, by this time the reader knows Chase and Willow, and knows that invisible string will always draw them back to one another. I would love to see Riptide and more of Kylie's works made into full-length novels! And congratulations again on this novel's upcoming release.
“She may burn me again, he thinks. But just once, I want to feel her. Some things are worth burning for. She is worth burning for.”
overview-
Ten years ago, Chase proposed to the love of his life. Ten years ago, Willow walked away from hers.
They cross paths in London, far away from their hometown, while Willow is working as a fashion designer and Chase is planning his wedding with another woman.
When you forever belong to one person, how can you ever walk away from them again?

A beautifully written debut novel full of tension, slow burn, and longing.
It was really fast-paced, with a dual timeline. I read this in just a few hours, I was fully encompassed by the characters and their romance.
There’s a lot going on along with the romance that makes it even more interesting, with quite a few plot twists to shake things up at the end.
about the book- 💔 second chance 💍 already engaged ❤️🔥slow burn 🚪 closed door
I wish there was a little more about their past relationship, just to make it even more emotional and powerful.
I loved this book and recommend it for romance lovers like me! Thank you Kylie for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
First off, I want to say I received this book as an arc for my honest review.
Kylie first introduced us to this world back on an interactive app, many moons ago. For fans of that Forever Yours, like myself - you are going to be happily surprised with how beautifully Kylie transformed it into a novel.
Kylie writes her stories so pretty, lyrically. The narrative paints such vivid colours that it’s so easy to be swept into her world of willow and chase. Willow and Chase’s love is undeniable. It’s like knowing there destiny is so intertwined with each other, yet the fates didn’t get the memo. They just continue to pull them farther apart … sigh.
The story is emotional, both good and bad. There are heavy themes in this that can be hard for some readers.
This is third POV and there are time jumps from the past, current and years later. I think I personally would have preferred shorter chapters and not have different time or character jumps within the same chapter.
Overall, super grateful to see this evolve into a book. I’ve already preordered a physical copy to have on the shelf. Willow and Chase among other great love stories.
I've been waiting for this story since Kylie announce it! And I had the honour to be one of her ARC, after Willow take down Chase's Proposal when they finished high school, the two of them meet each other ramdomly after 10 years, both being more matured they try to rekindle their love but between them the are a lot of troubles, and the timing seems to be always a bad one.. The story is literally a roller coaster of emotions and it is like as I remembered reading in the episode app.. there were just a few things that I think I was expected to see more in this book for example I wanted to see more and feel the love the passion but also the feelings of both Chase and Willow, in the case of Chase I wanted to feel more the grief he felt when he lost Char and his child I think it would have been a good thing to describe in more details of how Chase had to fight the sadness to be able to accepted the fact, also I felt like everything happened in the last 20% of the e-book had to be explain better I mean the events who happened are a bit heavy topic so I would have expected to be more detailed about it, but over all I would recommend to everyone if you are lover of Second Chance Trope and also be up for a lot of plot twists!

CW: infidelity, infant loss
When Chase Kennedy was 18, he tried to propose to the love of his life, Willow. She got scared and ran away. Ten years later, the two randomly meet in the same city, and the same pull and chemistry are there, but Chase is now engaged. Will they somehow find a way to be together or will they walk away from each other again?
I did like how the relationship between them was messy because that's how real relationships are. However, the way they both pine after each other and the way Chase seems to be so broken after everything felt a bit unhealthy. They both honestly needed therapy big time before embarking on anything. The pacing felt rushed, but I did enjoy the setting. The baby storyline felt a bit odd to be thrown in.
A mix of modern contemporary and romance. At its heart, it's a second-chance romance with complex and flawed characters who navigate running into each other after ten years (Wedding Dress Maker x Groom). Think parent trap, but if they never got married and had the twins, Meredith Blake character and all.
This isn't soft and fluffy, but it has its kick your feet warm moments. It pushes what you expect out of a romance.
Third person/Dual POV Second Chance romance Elevator kisses "It's always been you."
I’ve read the episode story a couple of years ago, while second chance romance isn’t my top choice I thought it was a good detailed episode story. Seeing it in novel form had me curious and wanting to check it out. I think this story is really complex and deserved more length to it. It felt very rushed and I wish we got a proper ending like in the episode story. But I think the writing style is very aesthetically pleasing and I love the third person flip between the characters.
When I read this story on Episode app I could not even imagine I would be reading it as a book few years later. This book was really heart touching And I really enjoyed it. The characters, the plot... Everything was amazing. I totally recommend this book.
The last time Willow saw Chase was 10 years ago. He proposed to her in his parents backyard. But Willow wasn’t ready for marriage. She was only 18 years old and had her whole life ahead of her. So she left him.
Now a decade later, no one can compare to how she felt about Chase. And she wonders what life would’ve been like if she’d chosen to stay.
Meanwhile, Chase is engaged and set to marry the supposed love of his life, despite his reservations and lingering feelings for his first love, Willow.
But fate seems to answer their silent wishes when Chase and Willow unexpectedly run in to each other.
• second chance romance • falling for the groom • emotional rollercoaster • elevator kisses • it’s always been you
Wow! This book was an emotional rollercoaster. I knew this. I read this story on another platform years ago. But reading the novel just hits different.
Kylie’s writing is so beautiful. She has a way with words (and she just knows how to break our hearts. I’m sending my therapist bill to you) 😭🫶🏼
I’m a sucker for the second chance trope. The realization that they never stopped loving each other makes me giddy. Doesn’t matter how many books I read with this trope. It just hits every single time 😮💨
Some parts were so intense and it made me feel so sad for both of them. I was rooting for Chase and Willow the entire time. Their chemistry is undeniable. And I just LOVE them both sm!!
I’m not a huge fan of open endings. But I think it’s perfect for their story.
