"Because the Archai — and their prince — are about to fall."
Just when I think Ella can't surprise me anymore and I've seen all her tricks she gives us Sun & Risk! If you are looking for a story that will have you on the edge of your seat from the moment you flip the first page Phoenix Falling is that story! While I absolutely loved Arik and Kat, what Risk and Sun have going make their story look like a cake walk!
The Archai might serve their King, but it is their Prince they seek out for guidance. It is their Prince they trust with what needs to be done to make sure that not only the Archai survive but thrive. With threats coming at them from every angle they are doing what they can to make sure that happens but what happens when the prince meets his mate but doesn't believe she is actually his mate. The fate of their people could like with one Risk...
Risk is both determined but soft in her wants and needs. She is destined to protect herself but there is something about Sun that just calls to her. And while there is so much, I want to say about this topic I really don't want to spoil it for anyone.
There was not one part of this story that I didn't absolutely love and there was not one thing about Sun & Risk I didn't love even more. While difficult, tragic, and absolutely heartbreaking at times their story is one of hope.
I do suggest reading book one in the Archai Warriors series before diving into Phoenix Falling. And last note, that ending Ella, come on!!

I could not wait to see what happened with Sun and Risk. I was unprepared for the roller coaster ride this book took me through.
Sun is an Archai warrior and their prince. His father, the king, is aging and not many of his followers are listening to him because he is not saying anything. They are following Sun and fighting an adversary that will end them all.
Risk is someone who is hiding her real self from Sun. While Risk is searching for more like her, she is trying to prevent them from being attracted by monsters. Sun asked Risk to help him find lost Archai females so his clan could protect them.
The sparks between Sun and Risk are like a lightning storm and neither can resist it. Even Sun's Phoenix wants Risk, but Sun thinks she is not his true mate.
This story is a wild ride that is worth reading, I highly recommend reading book 1 first. You do not want to miss any of the deliciousness of this story. I can not wait for more in 2024.

I normally don’t read books of this genre but I have to say this is definitely a must read. I absolutely loved Sun and Rissa/Risk together. I laughed and cried through this entire book and can not wait to for book 3.

Phoenix Falling” is the second book in the Archai Warriors series and had I not received an ARC , I may not have read it as paranormal is not a genre I tend to choose. However, Ella Sheridan is an author that I’ve read before and I like her style of writing so I was more than happy to read this and I’m so glad I did. It drew me in from the start and gathered pace as the book progressed. A few twists and turns along the way that had me wanting to turn the pages faster but also had me fearing what was going to happen next.
I loved the fact that the characters had some unique skills and Risk’s fiery nature had me chuckling on a few occasions. At times, Sun and Risk were infuriating together with their stubborn and domineering natures but they were also just right for each other.
Shifters, mythical creatures, battles, suspense and excellent supporting characters with a hint of what is to come in the third book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and am now working backwards to read “Griffin Undone”, the first in the series.

Phoenix Falling is the second book in the Archai Warriors series. I would not recommend trying to read this as a stand-alone. Much of the background information starts in book one - Griffin Undone. (I read both books back to back.) This paranormal romance is open-door.
This series has been nothing like I have read before. Book one was so compelling. I had such high expectations for Phoenix Falling and the author did not disappoint. The system of magic that she has created along with the lore are intricate but perfectly understandable. Risk and Sun seemed a bit of an odd pairing at first but they balance each other well. There were a few surprises in Phoenix Falling that I wasn’t expecting even after reading the first book.
This is the first of Ella Sheridan’s series that I have read but I’m really enjoying her style. I plan to check out some more of her work in the future and can’t wait to see the continuation of the Archai Warriors series.

Um, I am left speechless. Ella Sheridan’s action-packed romantasy Phoenix Falling left me in awe. Book two in the Archai Warriors series is an epic blend of fated mates, friends-to-lovers, shifter fantasy romance. Ella’s vivid world building sends readers on a journey between the human world and the realm of the Archai. Secret identities, mythological shifters, betrayal and epic battles made this thrilling adventure an unforgettable book. Despite not having read book one, I quickly became invested in the characters’ lives and sinister plots. Risk and Sun were dynamic, enchanting MCs; I was rooting for them, with bated breath from start to finish. If you like your fantasy romance with compelling side characters, a domineering and smoldery MMC, a feisty & warrior goddess FMC, and a twisty turny plot, grab the Archai Warriors series. I now need Demetri’s story!

This is book two in The Archai Warrior’s series and it is Sun and Risk’s story. Omg I thought book one was amazing but this one knocked the ball out of the park and I absolutely loved Sun and Risk together. This book takes you on a rollercoaster ride and the twists and turns just keep coming strong and fast and the chemistry between Sun and Risk is so explosive that sparks fly all around them and there is romance, strength, intrigue, betrayal, drama, confidence, mystery, hope, strong chemistry, great characters and a storyline that will pull you in and keep you totally hooked right from the first page and keep your attention throughout and unable to put it down as it is so addictive and it will also keep you on the edge of your seat while turning the pages to see what would happen next and I can’t wait to read the next book in this addictive series.

Sun and Risk are soft in ways that Kat and Arik were not, but they are also not afraid to fight for and against each other when needed. That fire (no pun intended) in Risk is exactly what Sun needed. Their story was one of overcoming every obstacle thrown your way- and then a few more while you’re at it.
The side characters, the suspense, the spice- all of it kept me turning the pages to get the answers I needed. I'm already chomping at the bit for the next in the series, and I promise you will be too!

Phoenix Falling brings us back to the world of the Archai. After Griffin Undone, I could not wait to get more of Sun and Risk’s story and Ella definitely delivered on this!
Both Sun and Risk brought out the best, and worst in each other as they are constantly drawn together to save those they love from the looming threat of the Anigma. They are vulnerable, passionate, infuriating, protective, and simply perfect for each other. It’s easy to find yourself rooting for them, as well as the rest of the gang, as they fight to protect everything they hold dear.
There is nonstop action from the beginning, along with mystery, intrigue, romance, betrayal, and plenty of high stakes adventure that will keep you on your toes and anxious to see what happens next. Especially after that ending!
Looking forward to more from this world, and the dragon, as the fight against the Anigma continues.

I found myself fully invested in the characters of this book immediately. Sun and Risk have a force together beyond imagination, both physically and mentally. The Archai serve their King faithfully, but as of late are turning to Sun the Prince for guidance. Risk puts on a facade to show her strength and confidence but it isn't her true self.
I found myself on the edge of my seat with all the action and intrigue that is coming to a head behind the scenes. I expect the unexpected in the next phase of this extraordinary series.

Phoenix Falling was really good. I must admit I struggled to get into it but I'm glad stuck with it because man, what a ride it was. There was suspense, action, betrayal and so much more. I loved the world and the magic system. I loved the authors take on shifters. I am fully invested in these characters and their journey so much so that I will definitely be reading book one and moving forward with the rest of the series. I should mention I didn't at all feel lost starting this series with book two. I cannot wait to read book three especially with the way things ended. I definitely recommend this one.

It has been a while since I have read a paranormal story. Wow! What a reintroduction into this genre! All the characters are richly developed and brought to life. Sun and Risk are both very strong personalities and I enjoyed their interactions with each other and everyone else. I am invested in all the characters and am looking forward to more in this series. I felt ALL the feelings while reading this book.

Well, I didn't think Ella could top Griffin Undone, but of course she had to go prove me wrong. I absolutely loved Sun and Risk. Risk is hiding her true self while looking for others like her. I was so invested in their characters and felt like I was in the book. Lots of twists and turns, be prepared for a wild ride. I loved the sparks of Risk and Sun. Again, if you haven't read Griffin Undone or this book, you really should! SO good!

Ella Sheridan is a phenomenal writer!!! I LOVE everything she has written...And I have read every single one of them!
Sun and Rissa are just another great addition! The chemistry these 2 have is amazing and everything about this series and the world Ella has created is fantastic! Sun's character is heartfelt and beautiful and I love how he makes Rissa feel safe when her world certainly has not been safe!

Was given the opportunity to read in advance and I fell head over heels in love with all the characters. Well written, filled with action and emotions. You feel the attraction between Sun and Risk. There is love and lies, betrayal and hurt. The characters really come to live. A real pageturner!

A riveting story filled with emotion that was very entertaining to read. I loved the characters who were mesmerizing in their interactions. Well written scenes, fantastic characters, engaging drama and thoroughly enjoyable interactions made this book worth reading. Great story.

I have not read the first book in this series. This one was definitely complex. Heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. The story between Sun and Risk is complicated,daring and full of twists and turns. I think fans of this author will not be disappointed.

Omggg. Talk about nonstop suspense in this one!!! Inhaled this one and I couldn’t put it down! And just when you thought you’ve guessed the next scene- it changes again! Cannot wait for more!
