This is my favorite book in this series; it is filled with passionate romance and heart-pounding suspense. The chemistry between Quinn and Larisa is intense, capturing the wild nature of an enemies-to-lovers relationship. Quinn and Larisa are complex individuals who undergo significant growth throughout the story. Their vulnerabilities, fears, and desires are bare, making them relatable. From the description of the breathtaking landscapes to decadent parties and dangerous encounters, every scene vividly portrays it, making me feel like I am also there. The story tackles a journey towards self-discovery, courage, and resilience.
After the shocking cliffhanger at the end of Terrible Love I was so excited to find out where Larisa and Quinn's story was headed and I was not disappointed. The split story with Larisa back in CA and Quinn in Italy worked so well and I loved the way they're both working toward the same goal, but in very different and surprising ways. Lucas is brilliant as the villain in the book and has become one of my favorite characters that I love to dislike. I'm enjoying the way there's much more to this suspenseful series than just the romance, and the unexpected twists and turns keep me turning the pages. How is this story going to end? I can't even imagine what Jaye has in store for us, but I'm here for it all the way!
Thank you for having me as one of your beta readers Jaye. It was truly a privilege to be a part of this project.
