This whirlwind adventure was a wild ride. We leave off right where book 2 left off. Running to stay alive and together. Rushing against time and Ari’s impending heat.

The spice, the journey along the way, the plot, the worry, the heart warming moments…ugh so good and I can’t wait for the final book in the series 😍

Will Ari find more of her mates to complete their clan? Will they get to boarder in book 3? Guess you’ll have to read to find out!

Book 3 is a good continuation of the series. We get a lot of bonding time which tends to drag on. I didn’t care for musical chair bonding moments. Ends on another cliffhanger.

Feels like click bait

I don't like leaving bad reviews as authors are able to tell stories that spark the imagination.
My First time reading books by the author, being the first 3 books in this series.
After the second book I was bored.
You know the saying 'they talk a lot but said very little'?

That's how I felt. I can't bring myself to buy the 4th book. Especially when I skipped pages upon pages in book 3.

I feel like this author drew out the story to get more sales in a time where things are financially difficult but we save for a little escapism by reading.
I can't recommend this series, while the characters are well fleshed out, the story is long, boring and repetitive and from the reviews of book 4, still no real back story for the characters.
I wish I had stopped at book 1.

Blah

I didn't like the last book because I couldn't get past how boring the whole heat thing was. That heat has dominated this entire series and it has bored me to no end. I don't even know what the plot is anymore! Now that it's over, hopefully, there will be some substance in the next book.

I can't believe how many 4 and 5 star reviews this series has. I'm more surprised that I haven't given up on it due to boredom. Next book better be good...

I couldn't stop reading, it's so exciting.
In this book, the bonds become closer and the clan ultimately becomes complete.
Ultimately, that doesn't make the flight any easier and danger is always lurking.
This book is exciting, mysterious, full of emotions and doubts.

Nowhere is safe, they are being haunted and soon the power of the bond will be tested. Can they ever find a home and find the strength to fight to keep it forever safe?

My life has taken a different path and I don’t regret it. Not one fucking bit.

This story and everyone in it is definitely on a journey of self discovery allowing themselves to be exposed for the first time in their lives. They are all still on the move as they travel as a clan, the banter that they share and the love that is becoming apparent too.

Ari is becoming a stronger character as this series goes on, she’s learning more about herself and wanting to uncover more about her alphas -and now beta. Her heat is the driving force of this story. You know that it’s going to finally hit and a surprise of another alpha completes her clan.

I’m loving the fun and each personality shining through the males within this story, their connections to each other and their love for Ari too. Which is great to see given the situation they are in and I feel more is still to come from them.

The detail is great throughout, the emotions explored reflect the current scene and then how they are adapted. The story has been more of building/creating the characters, a slow pace as they are still travelling with certain elements happening between and now with only one book left I’m interested to see how this will all conclude.

Now, I just need to keep us together and alive to get that fairytale happy ending.

The empire still seeks to bring down anyone who is tainted with fae blood and the group must attempt to stay hidden while a heat threatens to unsettle them all.
Ariadne cannot possibly go into heat before they find safety or they all will be at risk as they remain stuck in rut.
As they attempt to find further mates to close the circle and make themselves complete, the danger may just get closer to them.
Each of them feels connected to the others and for their omega they are willing to be anything she needs.
Discovering more about each other brings them closer and cements their bond before they even make it into safe pastures.
All an omega can hope for is a nest and all of her men, otherwise they all have a chance of dying.

This is the continuation of this series that still manages to rank as an immortal story in my eyes.
I have loved every single step of this journey as we silently hope alongside the characters.
Ariadne has a connection to the fae god without a name who is a very real presence and I loved how the whole clan has developed as they go through significant change.
These little whispers of power and dragon that keep them all from death succeeds in keeping up the pace.
I have never been more surprised by how much I could possibly love a set of magically imagined lovers who are entwined by more than flesh.

Step Back Into The Fantasy

An amazing continuation to this series 🙌🏻Mona has once again taken us on a whimsical, exciting & emotional journey through this fantasy she has created. As if the world building wasn’t enough to keep us entranced, she has to go and continually bring us new intriguing characters on top of the ones we’ve already fallen in love with. We continue to see Ari’s relationships with her mates grow stronger with each day, as well as the addition of her 2 final mates. The drama and problems for our group continues to grow, jumping from one crisis to another. There is plenty of action and adventure, as well as passionate moments that we have all been waiting for 🔥🫣🥵 This has all the things you love about Omegaverse, just set in a fantasy world you will hate saying goodbye to. You have to read the first 2 books in this series or this book won’t make sense, but if you’re reading this, you probably already know that lol. I can’t wait for the final book so that I can finally see Ari and her guys get a chance to breathe without all the chaos and danger surrounding them constantly. They all deserve a HEA, and I’m so ready to read about how they go about getting it ❤️

This is the finale I was expecting but was dreading to reach because I didn't want to say Good bye to the characters. I loved the whole adventure, the good and the bad they had to experience all the way to the border of the Empire and to safety beyond it. All the challenges and obstacles helped them strenghten the bonds in the group, helped them grow as individuals, discover and hon new skills, learn to care and rely on each other. It was a difficult time of self discovery and they passed with flying colours. The third book is also the time when they found the final link that closed the clan and the heat we saw in bits and glimpses in the first 2 books, exploded in a real inferno of passion and intimate exploration. What I really liked was the fact that the arc of the story built up a solid emotional foundation before the bonding took place - Ari wasn't just collecting men along the way. It was more like finding missing pieces of her soul that were merging together, creating a new, stronger core of their found family full of love and acceptance.

I am really enjoying this series of books! To my wonderful surprise, I realize that there will be another release in this series in December 2023! In this book 3, the harem is complete and our intrepid group of humans-turned-fae is making a run for the border. There is so much action going on here that I found myself reading too fast. Now, (oh the hardship!) I am going to have to reread the first 3 books just to relive the story to be sure I didn't miss anything!

This is an incredible series of books set in an omegaverse with a RH that makes this an mmfmmm read. There is quite a lot of sex here and it's graphic. I thought the author's treatment of an omega heat was great since it focused on the omega's state of mind throughout rather than confusing the reader with the myriad of combinations possible.

If you considering dabbling in omegaverse tropes, start with this series. It's one of the better ones!

The time is ticking faster with Ari's heat and their pursuer getting closer.
With two more mate conpleting their little clan, they must find safety for Ari's heat and their future.

This third book give more of the Fae traits. Their ability to speak with animals and nature, along with their physical changing like dragons, i need more of these Fae traits to come and play.
While the steamy scenes... Yeah no need more words other than HOT!

But one thing bugs me though. I've been waiting in suspence of Kiaran's past. I was waiting in pain needle. So when the author decide they should attend to Kiaran's oldest sister wedding and not pull the conflict with his parents to full on, i was bit flabergasted and couldn't understand why??? I mean, huge wedding where there's people when they are wanted people?

Need the next book!.

Unlikely Bonds by Mona Black is book three in the Hunted Fae Series. I’ve read the first two books in the series so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one. Just like the others I couldn’t put this book down. I read it in one sitting, I just needed to know more. This book picks up right where the second book ends so needless to say you must read the others before this one. The worldbuilding is just as great in this book not to mention it’s still the perfect amount of plot and spice. I really liked that we see Ari’s relationship grow with her mates. Also there’s plenty of action to keep you going. The tension is so well done, you can feel it. I can’t wait to read the final book in this series. I’m really looking forward to seeing how it all ends. Definitely a recommendation.

Oh man the more I read in this series the more it gets intense as Ariadne and her guy's are having to face just about every obstacle thrown at them from every corner as they are trying to get to the South border before she goes into heat. Not going to lie this book had me on pins and needles as thing's kept happening every time you thought they'd catch a breather but nope that'd be to easy. They are a mix match of mates each one different from the next as they learn to work together as a unit or clan, so they need to face the adversity, but now they have 2 new mates and they close the ring and time has run out for Ariadne. I am so hooked on this series I can't get enough. I need the last book as this does end on a cliffhanger to find out what's going to happen. If you've been reading the series you need this book, so you can prepare for the last book as to what's coming.

An epic journey filled with danger, daring, and steamy sex as Ari finds her clan. Rescuing Finn adds Rhian to the family and a stopover at Kia’s home brings Aless to them as their final family member. Mona Black does a phenomenal job describing a whimsical story, the characters, and the obstacles they’ll have to navigate.

I loved learning more about each character’s personality and how they interact with each other. The support for Ari as she found her clan, as she gets closer to her heat, and as her Fae powers manifest. Taj, Finn, Kia, Aless, and Rhian protect her and do their best to provide her a nest. This is such a great book and series!.

This has quickly become one of my favourite OV series. The concept is unique, seamlessly blending Fae and OV tropes to create an intriguing story.

This third installment kicks of right where the last one ended, taking the reader on an action packed adventure. New characters are introduced, there is more drama, a faster pace and the steam is of the charts.

As usual we learn more about the harem members and start to see them mesh more perfectly together. While the author indicated that this could be considered the final book in the series if readers wished to stop there, I am anxiously waiting for the forth book because I find myself reluctant to leave the world she has created.

What a fun story! Full of action, adventure, bad guys, family guys, and the good guys; our handsome heroes and our beautiful, snarky heroine. They've had quite the adventure so far traveling to the Southlands, but it seems Ariadne is still picking up men along the way to be a part of her clan! This is a fun, rollicking adventure mixed with tension and a whole lot of humor for your enjoyment. Will they ever make it across the border to the south? I sure hope so! We'll find out in the next book (hopefully the conclusion!).

Unlikely Bonds is the 3rd book in the Hunted Fae series. This book picks up right where the 2nd book, Unlikely Alpha, leaves off. In this book we get more insight into Ariadne, Finnen, Taj and especially Kiaran. There is a lot of character development in this book. While executing a rescue mission and being on the run, they meet 2 new characters despite things starting to spiral and move faster than anyone is ready for. This is a fantastic addition to this series and I can't wait to see what's in store for them in the next book and get to know the new characters better.

Well that will be an interesting story of how I met your mother and say she shot me with an arrow. Ari is learning to trust her feelings when she feels she needs to be somewhere. Finn finally accepts what he is and progress is made with the group until a new wrench gets thrown in. Kia finally remembers who he is and has a confrontation with his family. They are already being hunted by the church now they have a whole new enemy to worry about. This is a great book that gets to the point of the story.

Unlikely Bonds continued from the previous book.
I enjoyed reading the continuing drama and the bonding moments between each character.

I would have liked to see more emotions besides the act of bonding. Having said that it doesn't take away from the storyline of the main character and her alpha men. Each stop in their journey had its own delights.

I really enjoyed the humour throughout as there are many moments to enjoy while they try to navigate their relationship and the attachments that are forming within the group dynamics of a shared Omega.

Looking forward to seeing how this storyline continues.
The epilogue was very funny and joyfully written showing of what's to come.

Right when I think I feel like I know what is going . . . Ughhhh, everything is thrown into chaos and disorder. Things are definitely not going the way I thought they would, which is totally fine. This plot is keeping me on my toes and I love it.

It's all coming together and this world must decide which side of the fight to steams on. Things can't stand the way the are - change is coming and it's going to come whether anyone likes it thanks to one omega and the clan that she is gathering. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Book 3 and the bonds keep growing. Ari and her mates are in search of Finn who is set for execution…

It starts with a bang and it keeps on giving. We get a glimpse into one of the Alphas past… we meet a new member in a kinda funny way … and then a chance for the circle to be complete.

All of them are linked by scent and biology but start to learn about each other … making their clan about more than just an Omega and her heat.

Can’t wait for the final one … Ari and her men.

This is the third book in a very solid series. In this novel Ari completes her clan and we get to know quite a bit more about Kiaran's character. It fit in fine with the storyline but I wish we were able to get that same level of depth with the other guys or even Ari herself. I'm really hoping that we get to see them fully manifest their fae powers/abilities. The story ends on a mild cliffhanger. I say that because you know what's coming next, we just don't know how the conclusion will come to be.

We keep following Ariadne story, and in this 3rd part ,she completes her harem with one more alpha and a beta.Still on the run,her heat comes and she claims her mates in a scorching hot scene but their path still has many troubles brewing.
Mona Black masterfully creates an epic fantasie setting with fated mates,characters with troubled backgrounds,a blind priest,MM,Knotting, scenting,marking and heat that turns this an addicting series.

Back into the fray, we follow Ari and her alphas journey to the south. This starts right we’re book 2 ends and finally get reunited with Finn, meet their new member Rhian, and meet their last alpha Aless completing the circle.. There are so many new and old obstacles they encounter, their continued struggles of an oncoming heat, running from the those who are after fae, and personal struggles that each alpha is fighting with. This story was so much fun to read and while there is technically a book 4, Mona gives you the options of ending the story here and sloping to the Happily ever after.
