2.5 This book is my first read by this author. I will say I do like the spin on how Anton turned into a vampire. I feel like that aspect of the book was different than the other vampire paranormal books I read in the past. I feel like the execution of this story could have been better with some additional chapters. Overall I feel like this book had potential and I would try reading another book from her collection.

Very Good Read.

I really liked the storyline of this book. Let me back up and just say that Ms. Legacy did a phenomenal job with the storyline. The only thing that I could critic from a reader's perspective is some grammatical errors and it felt a little rushed. I think that some areas of the story could have been more descriptive and smoothed over. Taking time to actually round out the character backgrounds would have given the readers more time to relate to them. Overall I did like it and I can't wait to read more. I'm definitely going to be following Lady Legacy's work and future reads. ❤️

Different

This book is different from my normal read, but it is oh so good. I love a vampire story and this story is definitely a five star story. From the very beginning the character development pulled me in. His trauma made him a interesting character. She was soon in lobe and couldn't let him go. The drama and trauma they went through to be together made the story more interesting and kept me reading. I definitely enjoyed this read and have to check out more books by this author.

Awesome story!!

I really enjoyed this story. The characters, plot twists, and overall story line kept it interesting. I was really entertained and didn't want to put this book down until I was done. I laughed at some parts, got mad at some parts, and even cried a little bit. I'm not sure if that's what the author intended, but I was all in my feels. I loved it though. This is my first read by this author, but I'm glad I finally made it here! 😃

This was a wild story from start to finish. First, the government using Viet Nam veterans who were homeless and running experiments to make super soldiers. Then the main character going on to tell his secret to a woman, that he doesn't love but uses for food and sex. Finally, falling in love with another woman and impregnating her. I loved all the mystery and the intrigue. Very interesting story, read it you will enjoy it too.

Great Read

I loved this book and all the drama that came with it!!!...Loyalty was definitely proven in this book and the love of family too!!!...I was so happy that Grand's Karma was served by the woman he seemed to not be capable of letting go!!!...Skylar was such a sweet friend!!!...
Anton was definitely a protector, even after other did him so badly!!!...

This is my first read from this author but i definitely wasn’t disappointed. It started out slow; however, it was detailed enough that once the plot started everything fell in line and the dramaaaaaa omgggg 🤦🏽‍♀️ 😂

first, let me say i love seeing black characters in the paranormal space....but, a good editor is definitely needed. the story line was cute, there was good drama, though a few more pages to get some extra character work in and to flesh out the story a bit more would have been appreciated. overall i enjoyed the story and will try to read more of her work in the future.

Baby Daddy Vampire

Anton was dealt a bad hand in the beginning & as soon as he thought he was winning, someone played the joker card. Tangi was a free spirit from the start & it amplified with Anton. There were highs and lows, there was drama & a lot of twists and turns. A fun quick read.

Love it

This book was so good 🔥🔥🔥i felt bad for Anton but loved how Tangi and him came together. As for Grand and Aliyah they just crazy. I would love to see a continuation of this story of how Aurora growing up. Overall I enjoyed it.

Poorly written

The overall plot is not bad, but the writing is horrible. This read like a middle schooler was telling a story. Literally telling a story. No descriptions, very little dialogue, poorly constructed syntax, and grammar errors. Just awful.

Definite Potential

The story was good. It definitely could have benefited from more detail - richer back stories and fleshed out dialogue. Some of the conversations seemed rushed and summarized to close out the scene. There's potential here, though, and it was a pleasant read.

This was a very interesting book. It is giving a bit of Twilight Fan Fiction but I was ok with it. I love the way the authors back story for how Anton became a vampire. It's something I can definitely see happening with everything that went on after that war.

If you are looking for a quick love at first sight type of read then you don't want to miss this one.

Vampire love story. Spicy content. Absolutely loved this short story. Anton and tangi are great characters . Funeral and wedding.
