I don’t know about Fourth Down but this book is hands down good! Number 85 come right on in , I’m feeling hot as sin for this alternative Taylor but the real thing is driving me crazy ,it’s gone a bit hazy and I’m all wet… Best O yet! Well this is what I think goes through her head as she lies on her bed…A football pass between her legs the real Taylor would be impressed…. Taylor offers to train her and where’s the goddess that got her rocks off with eighty -five ,because Harper is just sat in her car wanting to hide. Come on woman where’s your pride ? Go get your man! “Taylor, here I come. Oh Jesus. Wrong choice of words.” Don’t be absurd , you’re good enough . You just gotta believe . He’s all hot and horny too …over you! So stop being naive. “You ready for me to wear you out?” I swear Harper , sort yourself out , stop being so devout , when all you want is him to clean you out…”Yep, Lead the way, Taylor the Torturer.” “New nickname? I like it.” Well she’s just had a workout in the gym with him. “When you figure out how sore you are tomorrow, call me. Then we can decide.” He smiles. “But I had a great time.” Sublime! I’m drooling I don’t know about Harper right now , but Britney girl! You got me undone with these awesome real to life characters. They both have life goals and then ….something’s amiss , not even a chaste kiss…. Britney Bell what’re you doing to me! Harper Phillips is remiss and Taylor is acting all up in a strop and not playing ball. Jordan her best friend will help I’m sure . Taylor Wright has a bestie too in Mike to help see him through. Well it’s safe to say , they made hay while it shined but then the sun went in and it was mighty dim and so was she to think that of him , but he’s no better , he shouldn’t have let her feel so… he’s sunk so low and so as she , they’re both living in misery . She’s always been his shining star but he was her man , not an idol to false worship . Oh , let them find their way back home…..steady their ship…please…Brilliant work. The storytelling is compelling , the scenes , immersive and sublime , well I had a good time …Awesome writing , so inviting and superb characters that give all the feels and descriptive use of words on the page has my mind on a rampage to heaven and back as they find love then lose it. Left field and crazy , it’s all looking hazy but one things for sure they belong together forevermore. Can he score once more….Encore ☑️👄
Well this book started out so strong but then his head got in the way. As a former pro athlete i could understand his frustration about managing his lofe wogh Harper in the middle. But the way Taylor stormed off after ignoring her for a week and then that whole msg towards the end? Yeah i would not give him a time of day after that, thats for sure.
But she was sweet and I liked her enough to give this a 3.5* rating.

Fourth Down is book 6 of the Texas Tornadoes series. It's a steamy, OTT, opposites-attract, friends to lovers, girl gets her football hunk sports romance. Harper is a sweet and sassy event planner. Taylor is a 31 year old hunky football player. The two are friends and have been crushing on each other for years. They finally go out, and it's hot. But Taylor is an idiot and drama gets in the way before they can get their happy ending. This was a fun, short, and steamy read.

Fourth Down is the sixth book in the Texas Tornados series. I have enjoyed this series quite a lot and this book is solid addition to the series. The story is about Harper Phillips, an event planner, and Taylor Wright, a player on pro football team the Texas Tornados. They have known each other for the last few years and both have also developed crushes during that time. Harper seems to be the woman who plans all the events which he attends. When they are chatting together at the latest party Harper expresses that she needs to get in shape. Taylor offers to be her personal trainer. You just know that these two are about to get very hot and sweaty together.
Fourth Down is the sixth installment in the Texas Tornados series, which I thought to be quite suspenseful and most definitely page-turning sports romance. Fourth Down is the amazing journey of Harper and Taylor who are fabulously amazingly written and beautifully executed throughout this amazing sports romance. I absolutely adored getting to know both Harper and Taylor as well as seeing their love story unfolding throughout this book. I love that Harper and Taylor’s love story has a happily ever after with them being happily married. Fourth Down is beautifully written, well balanced, and marvelously executed by Author Britney Bell. Britney Bell has done a fabulous job with the way she created this amazing sports romance. In my honest opinion, Britney Bell is a sensational storyteller and an absolutely remarkable writer who creates fascinating romance stories that captivates the reader’s attention from beginning to end. Fourth Down is definitely a sports romance book which I would most definitely recommend this book for anyone whose looking for a fun sports romance to read. I’m looking forward to seeing what else Britney Bell will create for her next book.

Fourth Down is a love in the spotlight slow burn romance. Veteran football star Taylor has been a player on and off the field for years, and when he finally gives in to his feelings for his long-time friend Harper, the chemistry is explosive. Watching Taylor try to figure out how to balance his career with his overwhelming feelings for her is fascinating—we really see and feel the jumbled mess in his head. Harper has gone through a string of bad relationships, but she has always harbored a secret crush on Taylor. She is full of quirks and also highly insecure when it comes to relationships—she really doesn’t trust herself or see her worth. Her friends are not helpful when it comes to her insecurities either. These two are hot and heavy until their reduced to teenage antics and reactions. Not quite what I expected, but this read is quick and hot with lots of spicy scenes. I’m not a fan of the third act breakup, but it makes sense in this story.

Britney Bell is becoming one of my favourite authors to read. She never disappoints, And fourth down was no different. I love it from start to finish. It's not a long read I finished it in one sitting. Although I never wanted it to end. Taylor plays football for the Texas Tornados and he is about to retire. Harper is an event planner. They met at one of the events that Harper had planned. Taylor is secretly in love with Harper. Harper is younger than Taylor. All in all this was a great read. Time to go and reread #bksbloggingandreviews.

A great addition to this series that can be a standalone but I recommend reading them all for enjoyment. Harper and Taylor have had crushes on each other and finally step into dating. Should be easy enough until self made and friend meddling made obstacles that keep getting in the way. Their love journey is full of doubts, steamy sizzle, heartache, misunderstandings, change, realizations sweetness and love. Will confess I wanted to shake some people. Well written and engaging.

Britney always seems to capture the heart and soul of her lead characters and it's always awesome to read her books. A jock and a redhead, retirement, bad relationships and bruised hearts are on the horizon, so get your coffee, settle in and enjoy.

Taylor is a NFL player and Harper is a party planner. Their jobs are demanding. They have great chemistry but have stayed in the friend zone. They moved on to try a relationship. Harper and Taylor need to listen to their hearts and block out all the negativity. This is a sweet read with plenty of heat.

A football story that is a dual POV tale about a player and a party planner. It involves different personalities. There are different priorities. There are different lifestyles. The characters are relatively clear. The story reads quickly and there are a few surprises.
This is the last book in the series. It's about Taylor and Harper. It's a real will they won't they, considering they both like each other but don't tell the other.

This was a nice age gap I just did not like how she jumped to conclusions without actually communicating her fear of him cheating. I understand cheating is the big thing. But she also has to realize that he's a football player and football players go out of town, yes sometimes they go out drinking but most of the time it's for work. It's their job to play and that's all they do. Yeah, they could have affairs but if he didn't seem like that kind of guy. Yeah, you read the tabloids but do you always believe what you read in the tabloids cuz a lot of that is kind of fake? Harper just frustrated me. She really did. I mean she hurt him and really did not understand that she was doing that's him He was already having issues with this game. So I could totally understand him wanting to cut contact for a little bit and focus on his job because he gets paid to play. His team counts on him so like her causing drama and his life was not a good combination for his profession because he needed to be focused there I don't know it was just a little frustrating. But once they got past the drama it was smooth sailing. He retired and they made a life. But I definitely recommend reading it it was a quick read as well so that was a kind of a bonus I killed like an hour and a half. If you can get past the frustration of the lack of communication and her jumping to conclusions then you'll enjoy it. I did like how they bonded and the other little side stuff that's in there. But I don't know that the whole part of the book was kind of frustrating to me. Overall it's okay.

Eighty-five. Fantastic. Taylor and Harper are in the same boat and don’t even know it. Both are attracted to each other but afraid of ruining their friendship. Taylor decides to take a chance and happy that she’s receptive to him. They begin spending their free time together and chat one way or another when he has away games. Harper is happy but, she lets her well meaning friends get in her head. After an away game Taylor plays horribly in he realizes he needs to figure out his life and his feelings for Harper. After a week he goes to see her but, things don’t go as he’d hoped. She accuses him of not being faithful and he’s furious that she would think that about him. Both spiral after that conversation. Taylor sends a very drunken IT’S OVER text to Harper. Then as if that wasn’t enough she sees a video of him and some woman on his social. Is this really how it ends?.

Another touchdown! Taylor plays football with the Texas Tornados. He's getting older, though, and he knows he can only play for so long. But what comes next? He's not so sure. Harper is an event planner. She makes sure people have the perfect celebration. They've been friends for a while, but they don't see each other much. Taylor would like to change that. Harper might not want to admit it, but so would she. But what happens if they don't work out? They have mutual friends, so it could get awkward. A good story, with an aging football player, unsure of his future, and the woman he loves from afar. We've been skirting around these two the entire series, and it's nice to see them finally have their moment. A solid finale to the series.

This is book 6 in Bell's Texas Tornados series and a great addition to the series but can easily be read as a standalone. This book focuses on main characters Harper and Taylor who have both been crushing on each other for years and finally start dating. So, you'd think - great - easy peasy, but this is a romance read, and we have to have some angst, and it come in the form of self-doubt, delivered by people who are so called friends - i don't think so - but at the same time I totally get too. Anyway, I still loved this read and while on the short side it still delivers all the sweet and steam and a great HEA for our characters. I so enjoyed it and can't wait for more from Bell!

Harper has wanted Taylor for years. She dreams about him all the time. Taylor has wanted Harper for years and finally decides to go for it and asks her out. They embark on a romance that sees them both happy and looking to a future together but they let their own minds pull them apart. And Harper's friends were her worst enemies putting doubts in her head and I did not like them. This is a very good read, well written, fast paced and very steamy story. I enjoyed the storyline very much.

Harper has had her share of cheating exs. Taylor has had his share of hounding by the press about retirement. Each are troubled by both intrusions. It starts with an offer to be her personal trainer, something he is considering post retirement. This couple are hot and cold towards each other. Always in each other's thoughts is unsettling and doubts take over which is not conducive to good decision making. Hurt and hurting means later regrets..pay the money and take your chance.

Taylor is a football player and that is how he met Harper as she is a event planner. They share a great friendship that they take to the next level but when he is having trouble on the football field he backs away from Harper as he is trying to end his career in a good way and Harper is broken-hearted as she thinks he is cheating on her. Will Harper and Taylor get back together?.

This is a great addition to the Texas Tornados series from Britney Bell; I have really enjoyed all the books and they are great read in order, but it could be read separately as a standalone if you haven't read any of the others (you really should, though). This is a short, sweet, and slightly angsty, but perfectly satisfying read. Absolutely would recommend.

Taylor and Harper have scorching chemistry and secret mutual crushes on each other. When they finally make a move past friendship it is fast, intense and steamy, with some sweet and swoony moments. A roller coaster of emotion especially after mistakes are made brought on by career uncertainty. Great friends and found family complete the cast, with some familiar characters from previous books.

Liked this couple of Harper and Taylor as they’ve been skirting around each other for some time flirting. Though, they are at different times in their careers and they realize that, they try to make it work. Thought, Taylor to be a bit frustrating in the way he acted. Overall, this was a good read as it progressed the characters grow a bit more.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Taylor and Harper both want each other and when they act on it, things don't go smooth but ends very well. I liked that they have to deal with his one career ending and all that goes with it as well as regular issues. It was good that not everything went perfectly.
This is the 6th book in the Texas Tornados series and can be read as a standalone story. Harper is a party planner who has caught the eye of Taylor, the Tight End of the Texas Tornados, he's unsure if his future as his retirement is coming and with his fascination of Harper he's losing sight of finish line. Good Story, likable characters.
I enjoyed reading Fourth Down. Taylor and Harper are great characters and there is definitely steam between them. A great light hearted romance that I didn't want to put down once I started. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
