At least the story went back on track. So the government was the one who secretly wanted to eliminate the devils. The political aspect was clearly intriguing and the research about devils weren't even continued. I still have so many questions about those two parts, and I wish it should have been tackled more instead of the stories of the other love teams. 😩
Well, I'm sad that there's only one volume left. Some readers even mentioned that Vol. 14 was just about some short stories about several characters.

Y finalmente lo terminé, es la primera vez que leo un manga "seinen", y no me defraudó para nada, muy por el contrario, tuvo de todo, situaciones de extrema violencia, política, romance subitdito de tono y amistad incondicional. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Happy that the plot finally started making sense again. And mostly everything was wrapped up nicely. Would I read this series again? No, not at all. But the art is gorgeous and I did enjoy it for the most part. The first few volumes were amazing. But after that it kept getting off track and we kept getting new characters introduced who did nothing for the plot or the story, they were just there. And there were a few plot holes that never got answered either. But I don’t care enough to think about it. lol.
I would definitely still recommend this story to somebody who is looking for a vampire manga series with a heavy plot and a lot of characters doing random shit throughout. Have fun guys. K bye.

This volume is "officially" the ending (and the next is comprised of several epilogues for various characters) of the series.
We finally see all sides of the (original) CCC's goals, and who the real bad guys were.
I truly had a great time with this series, and I'm really glad I came back to it again. There were so many wonderful characters, with real depth to their emotions, relationships, and perspectives. Sawazaki, Ishimaru, and Lee were my favorite characters, but I adored Tsukasa and Yuuki and the relationship that they built. Most of the characters have found their "home," or are in the process of allowing themselves to do so. There were so many beautiful moments depicting different kinds of familial and romantic love, of tearing down prejudices and fears and paving the way for change. All of the betrayals early on made me wary of basically anyone who showed kindness throughout the rest of the series, so that was a little stressful, but in all, the number of decent, earnest people was overwhelming (in a good way).
There is hope for everyone, moving forward. Obviously they're approaching the most important battle of all in moving society toward tolerance and acceptance, but we don't necessarily need to see that happening to be satisfied with the ending of the series.
I do think that we had a lot of drip-fed info for too long, and the climax of the story here was a little too abrupt. I think we should have been made aware of the real enemy somewhat sooner, rather than all at once along with their "downfall." There are still problems to address within the government, yes, but that's really my only complaint about the pacing of the series. There are still some general questions about the devils that were never answered, like why they don't just drink animal blood or whether that affects them like human blood does (since we know seeing the blood of other vampires doesn't). Just little things that I'd wonder from time to time.
I'm really looking forward to watching the anime for this sometime soon.

This volume feels more like the conclusion to the story rather than the volume preceding it. Although… it seems the actual final volume may only be a collection of short stories, so I’m not sure what to expect. It really felt like the mangaka was wrapping everything up in this volume; many things were concluded, while it felt many of those conclusions were new beginnings leading to a wide expanse of possibilities (which, unfortunately, it seems we’ll need to think of ourselves).
Most interestingly to me besides the politics and the statistics of this was all the different types of love and human connections seen in this volume, visual representations of how far we’ve come throughout these thirteen volumes, and how very human everyone is, devil and non-devil.
The plot has reached a point where more progress may, and likely will, take many years to come, and a revolutionary world will likely not happen within any of our characters lifetimes, however, it seems bright and hopeful that the foundation of this revolution will be built upon many of their backs and behind their heels.
As for profession of human connections and romance, we’ve reached the point in which almost everyone has shut a door and is now opening a new one.
I hope to see some of the more questionable characters (Ushio and Kikuhara) expanded upon a bit more in their extra chapters next volume. And I wish the rest of the cast wonderful lives. I don’t think a large majority of them deserve punishment. Much of this has been punishment enough.

It’s the end of the Line... har, har, har! But, we get a volume of side stories next year (March 2020)! The conclusion was satisfying; some twists and turns that were resolved well. Throughout, I was dissatisfied with the art, and this volume is no different. There is a panel with a long rifle, and the perspective is so FUBAR it made me guffaw (an old man’s LOL, if you will)! If you are able to overlook the art, the story is enjoyable. There are some issues with the mangaka’s focus (or lack of) at times, but I appreciate the effort with a diverse, inclusive cast of characters. While there are your typical seinen tropes, because of the thoughtful romance and broad spectrum of characters, any young adult or adult reader that appreciates dark/urban fantasy should feel at home with this series.
Hopefully, a better font size and typeset will be used on Ryo Hanada’s next series when it makes it to the US. Her Blackguard began publication in Kodansha’s Monthly Morning two in September 2019.

This series had a good start with promising potential. I appreciate how well thought every detail is and I slightly liked the main characters which are Yuki, Tsukasa and also enjoyed seeing Lee.
However, it had some downsides such as how generic the entire plot is; it literally touched every genre it could from horror, romance, drama, psychology, action, comedy sometimes, all in a presumably paranormal series. It tried to cover all aspects, explore every possible storyline and introduced dozens of side characters to the point of losing track of them. In my opinion, it could've have been more enjoyable if it focused on one narrative instead of introducing countless side stories which made the whole series seem like a series of intersecting one-shots.
The art itself was inconsistent however it had some cool panels, also Anzai attire looked pretty kickass.
Overall, decent series. I myself feel much mixed about it. Because I really enjoyed some parts but it kind of lost me with the generic narrative.

Devils' Line, Vol. 13 is an absolute knockout—emotional, intense, and completely unputdownable. At this point in the series, the stakes are through the roof, and every single moment in this volume hits hard. Anzai’s journey has been one of the best slow-burn character arcs I’ve ever read, and his growth in this volume is next level. The way he’s finally confronting his demons (both literal and figurative) is so satisfying to see, and Tsukasa continues to be the rock that keeps everything grounded. Their relationship has come so far, and every moment between them feels earned and deeply emotional.
The action sequences are brutal, the political drama is more intense than ever, and the emotional stakes? Crushing in the best way. The artwork is stunning as always, capturing the raw emotion of every scene perfectly. If you’ve been loving this series, Vol. 13 will not disappoint—it’s everything that makes Devils' Line one of the best supernatural thrillers out there. Five stars—this series continues to deliver, and I cannot wait to see how it all wraps up!

The final volume and I think it did well into tying up all the characters' stories. I was satisfied with the ending. I think Anzai and Tsukasa are so cute together. I wish there would have been more of them in this volume. But their interaction at the end was very sweet.
The story in this manga was enjoyable and a bit different. My only problem was that it seemed to have trouble focusing. I think that is because it follows so many characters. It's hard to keep up at times and can be a bit confusing, especially since some characters look the same.
It's definitely worth a read. I greatly enjoyed it. And I will be reading the volume of side stories.

Queen's group has taken hostages at the Prime Minister's office. Lee is live streaming his pacifist messages. Yuuki is facing his personal demons and confronting Kikuhara. Taira is at Secretary Kaname's house watching everything unfold... Things are getting dangerous and the political intrigue and government secrets are on the knife's edge.
And this is technically the final volume so everything important is supposed to be wrapped up in this book, but there's a volume 14 which has some bonus side stories. Personally I'm hoping for one where Yuuki meets Taira's parents.

Hanada swoops in on this one and gets directly to the point. Everything that we have seen build up throughout this entire series comes to a climax. The truth becomes evidently clear and we get to touch base with all of the characters and see how it affects them. A lot of the major points were cleared up a lot faster than I had anticipated but I would rather get more depth on the story that draw out the drama. Just trust the process and trust Hanada. I promise you are in good hands. One more to go and I'm curious to see how this is going to wrap up.

Everything has come to an end. It is a conclusion of how the relationships, all of them have come to conclusion. How the devils are starting to be treated equally and how things against devils are changing. I loved this series from start to end was fantastic. Definitely a great series that I followed and it all started with an accidental find in the library. The characters have grown so much and I am sad to see this series end.

It was a slow start but honestly I feel like it ended so well like it was wrapped up like a present. I would like to have seen her family meeting Anzai but I was glad to see the little cute chapter of them discussing her having a boyfriend overall. But I’m glad to have seen everyone and see where they are in their budding relationships wether it be friendships or romances it was nice.

I didn’t like the ending very much and I though the resolution was a bit... meh. It was pretty obvious who was behind everything, I mean it was mentioned in a previous volume. It bugs me that Yuuki and Tamaki didn’t get closure. That’s what I was waiting for!

Disappointed with the ending, was hoping for a lot more. Felt like a big buildup for it to just end. Might have to return to it with a clear mind.

This feels like the ending. The HEA is there for everyone it seems. And that HEA fit some means moving on. I thought the government part felt a little rushed just because so many characters and sub plots are in this story but we get a conclusion that feels satisfactory.

It seems as if everything g is wrapping up, but for a few loose ends. I hope the last book follows Anzai and Taira.
