Travis has been obsessed with Paul Homolka since he was able to watch all the documentaries about him and do all the research about him. Paul is Travis’s idol and wants to be just like him so he decides he will do the same fucked up shit Paul did. Travis will be just as famous as Paul, one way or another! This one was even more awesome than the second one!!

“I was trying to see if I could fit my mother’s hairbrush handle in my asshole, using triple antibiotic ointment as lubricant.”

This is the story of an “ edge lord” named Travis,he is obsessed with a serial killer. His goal in life is to be just like him. After reading, book one and two of this trilogy, I was highly excited for this. It started out with a great prose, but it fell flat very quickly. I felt like I was reading a watered down version of book one. I’m giving it 3 ⭐️ because some of the torture scenes were unique.

Another 5 star for Mr. Stuart Bray
Meet Travis, a poser. A wannabe psychopath. A self made piece of shit who wants nothing more than to follow in the footsteps of his beloved idol Paul. We remember Paul don’t we? The psycho manic killer we all loved to hate.
Would Paul be proud of Travis? Will Travis get to leave behind the legacy that he longs for?
This story will have you banging your fists, and ugly crying for Sherry. Bless her heart, all she wanted was to be loved and excepted by Travis… to be his Franny.
This story is brutal, extreme and damn near the best one of the series.
Long lives the story of Paul.

Tons of torture, incest, animal violence, just plain out disgusting. I enjoyed it, but I think I liked the first two better.

Book 3 wasn’t nearly as brutal or deranged as book 1 but it was cute, in a freakish, demented way. Travis is OBSESSED with Paul Homolka (VOTM 1), maybe even more so obsessed than he can muster up the courage for. Travis however has his own obsessor, Sherry, who Travis sees as nothing more than a worthless cow taking up space and oxygen on this planet only fit for himself and Paul. Travis is the epitome of “meek” and devises plot after plot to rewrite that narrative. Multiple senseless killings and close calls later Travis ultimately succumbs to his own misfortune and lack of willpower.

The third installment in the VIOLENCE ON THE MEEK franchise introduces us to Travis, a teenage edge-lord obsessed with serial killers, particularly Paul Homolka.

While there was still the gore and violence expected from this author, this book was different in that Travis initially struggles, and while I can't say that the struggle is with his conscience, he definitely struggles with having the stomach to lead the kind of life his hero led. And this gave Travis a depth that characters often lack in books such as these.

Sherry's character made my heart break. She is a classmate of Travis' who desperately wants to be his sidekick, his Franny. Travis wants nothing to do with her except to use her, and I have to say that the fat shaming was hard to read, and nothing could have prepared me for Sherry's ultimate fate.

I'm really interested to see where this series goes next. This book is available now.

Each book in this series has been over the top filled with gore and vitriol.

Stuart has a way or writing absolutely repulsive characters who have zero redeeming qualities and who you can’t help but want to read the exploits of.

There were parts of this book that made me laugh (and I felt like a class A asshole for laughing). Awesome addition to the series and well worth the read.

The only criticism I can offer is the odd spelling or grammar mistake and I’m not super comfortable with the racial slurs - though I do understand they’re a part of the character and an expression of his pure hatred for everyone.

Those things aside, this is definitely one to read if you’re into extreme horror. You can read any of these books without having read the others as well. Just be warned Stuart doesn’t hold back on the depravity.

Awesome book.

This is the story of Travis, who longs to be just like his idol, the infamous mass killer Paul Homolka. His stepfather and mother find his obsession with Paul unhealthy, but they don't understand what it's like to harbor dark desires. Travis friend Sherry is the only one who really understands him, and she desperately wants to be liked by Travis and will do anything to become his sidekick, just like Franny was to Paul. Will Travis reach the levels of depravity that will rival Paul's rampage, or will he continue to live with his demons?

This book was absolutely phenomenal. While I loved the first two, this was the pinnacle of the three. While there is the gore you come to expect with the series, there is so much more to it. Travis is struggling with his conscience and who he is as a person. Sherry's character is desperate to be loved and wanted. It's gritty, dark, and heartbreaking. Bray knocks it out of the park. Fantastic read.

Ummm...I'm Not Sure!

The title of this says it all! I loved the first two books but this one just seemed so lackluster compared to them! I love Stuart Bray's work, but this just didn't hit as hard as the first two.
I feel like Travis just tried too hard in this one and it was disappointment after disappointment. Although, for him only being around the age of 16 or 17, he didn't do half bad, especially since he truly wasn't a killer, he just wanted to badly to be. Travis felt things, even if he tried not to. A true killer was like Paul from the first book!
I give Bray props for trying to tie all three together in this one, somehow!
These were the first books I have ever read by him and I definitely want to check out more of his work.
Do I recommend this book, not really, to each their own. But, I do highly recommend checking out the Author!!

while this was nasty and depraved, I loved how we see Travis fighting with himself in wanting to be like his idol and not being actually able to really be like him in the beginning...... I also still don't know if I felt for sherry or was she just a t**t?? Overall a great nasty violent read!

As proof to my “buddies” in our horror group, I stated I could read 4 of these within a weekend ( Friday - Sunday ) and with 1 book left along with another full 24hrs I believe I have stuck true to my word. I hate myself for it at the moment, but I’m nothing if not honest about my reading.

As per my previous review of Violence On the Meet 2, this one feels more of the same. There’s a fraction of a story inside the pages.. but it’s mainly vulgarity, murder, unnecessary torture, and a weird obsession with anal. Stuart I know you’re married with kids, but if there is something you want to get off your chest it’s 2025…people are allowed to have kinks.

Violence on the Meek 3 is Splatterpunk horror so of course it’s vile. But I just can not understand what the point of the book is without there being any type of “story” in the middle of the rape, sodomy, torture, murder, and incest. Sure with this one the kid is obsessed with Paul from VOTM but that’s it. There’s nothing wrong with a good X-horror read but I think these are written by someone who wants to seriously mess with the people reading his books…or needs to have serious psychological evaluation. Either way another one down and another to go. 🙄

Definitely my least favorite of the three. I do like how it tied into the first novella.

Just a kid who wants to follow the footsteps of his favorite serial killer, and falls short. Very easy to hate the protagonist, especially with how he talked about Shelly.

I was definitely rooting for his downfall throughout the entirety of the story.

Good afternoon, darlings of darkness,

Let's talk about "Violence on the Meek 3." First things first, this series is not for the faint of heart. It delves into the depths of depravity, covering each twisted topic so excellently that Stuart Bray has become an instant buy author for me.

This book follows Travis and his descent into madness after watching a movie about Paul. Obsessed with Paul, Travis thinks he can become the next Paul. His journey is one of darkness and depravity, filled with chilling moments and unsettling revelations. Whether he succeeds or not, you'll have to read the book to find out. What I can tell you is that Travis goes on one hell of a journey that will leave you questioning the limits of human nature.

The writing is gripping and immersive, pulling you into the twisted world Bray has created. The characters are complex and flawed, making them feel disturbingly real. The pacing keeps you on the edge of your seat, unable to put the book down even when you want to look away.

Make sure to do your research before diving into these books, as they are very heavy and deal with extremely dark themes. This is not light reading, but if you can handle it, the experience is worth it. Read it or don’t, but I enjoyed it immensely and highly recommend it to those who can stomach the darkness.

Yours in madness,
E

Violence on the Meek 3 by @stuart_bray_1991 ⭐️⭐️

Travis hates the world and everyone in it. He has this intense, internal rage that he needs to let out by any means necessary.

I loved the first in this series, and I enjoyed the second but this one fell flat for me. I couldn’t connect with Travis and found his rage to be petulant and annoying.

There was a lot less violence in this book and I found it a chore at times to pick it back up to finish it.

His obsession with ‘Paul Homolka’ also infuriated me; he didn’t seem to have any substance to his obsession and just wanted to emulate him for seemingly no apparent reason.

I’m glad I finished the trilogy, it’s no ‘Broken Pieces of June’ but I figure sometimes when it’s just senseless violence on a page I don’t really get it so maybe this just wasn’t for me.

Umm... okay, I struggled to finish this book. Violence on the meek 1 had a lot of promise. There was plenty of gore, the store line was there it was great. Violence on the meek 2 that I had to rate 4.5 stars. I left the book with questions. However, the book flew-Itty was there. It was an awesome read.

Now Violence of the Meek 3. I couldn't get into it. I don't like to dnf a book, and this one took me longer to read. The main character tried way too hard, and fat shaming was a bit over board. There wasn't enough gore, the book didn't flow like the other two. I appreciate the author trying to work in the first 2 books, and I wish it had gone in a different direction. But all in all, 3.5 and mostly because I like the end. I was not expecting it to end on that note.

However, I do enjoy the authors' other books and will continue to read them.

A literal gem in the genre.

I just recently started reading splatter punk the last few months, and Stuart Bray immediately stood out to me.

Consistently through my first few months, he has stayed on the top after me reading close to 75 books so far; This series is his best, in my opinion.

This book in particular to the series is amazing on its own. It sticks true to Brays' writing style that I expect and love. The tie on to the previous books was unexpected and awesome.

A great book in a great series that I highly recommend to anyone.

I really enjoyed this book and how it tied into the first one. I hated Sherry as much as Travis did because she really needed to catch a hint and if you loved him so much why would you… no spoilers. I wasn’t expecting the mom to be the way she was and a lot of Travis’s instability made sense. Also the tie in was interesting but also very confusing. I was very confused with the last chapter. That’s why I gave it 3 stars instead of 4. But it’s very brutal and the killing of one character in particular had me cringe a little from the sheer brutality.

Another waste of a couple of hours

This was the same story as the other 2 with different names. A guy obsessed with killing and raping his family members for some odd reason. All it is, is the words fuck, cunt, come, and pig as many times as they could get written in. Anytime he can throw in an anal rape or rape of a mother/sister/brother, he does. There is no plot. How this is considered "extreme horror" I'll never know. There's not one sentence in the entire book that could be called, scary. Awful.

I was saving this book for a special day because i've read the other 2 and I know it is gonna be a real treat but I sure as hell am glad i read this on a random work night. Stuart Bray never fails to scratch an itch for an extreme horror read! Absolutely LOVED the ending and also the little snippet of the "forbidden" manuscript!

Another nonstop thrill ride of depravity and gore!

I’ve read the the first three so quickly I guess it’s on the fourth and hoping that I’ll be able to find more by this author. Got to give him some major credit for his imagination and impeccably vivid portraits he paints in words.

I had to DNF about 75% of the way through. The casual racism felt pointless and gross, as was the causal fatphobia. It was an edgy read that was gross for all of the wrong reasons. Though there were a few funny lines that hardly did anything for this book.

solid connection of the previous books in the series. more dramatic than some of the others; loved the shortness of the novel even though the depth is more than the first two. it's a must read if you've read the other two books.

Thoroughly enjoyed this one! This one was different in that when the main character was describing a person or thing, you almost thought he had just enough compassion to not go through with whatever he had planned. Justice for Jeffrey.

Stuart bray is crazy. His books don’t even seem to real when you’re reading them… I know that makes no sense. But damn, it takes you to another world. Although I thought the first book was the best of the three, it still kept my interest and grossed me out the whole time.
