I fully agree with the tenents of PLC work. I think it does have the potential to change schools for the better. This book gave a good overview of how COVID changed PLC work and school. And this book felt a bit like it was promoting a lot of SoultionTree products and books and not diving deeper into principles. Overall, this book is a good overview, but I wish it had been a little deeper. It definitely focuses on culture/climate shifts but not so much on practical solutions. As an educator in a district that adopted PLCs, is on the guiding coalition, and believes in the process, I wish this book had given me a bit more of the "how" and less of the "why." Many of us have made those cultural shifts, but we lack the tools/structures to implement the changes we want to see. I was hoping this book would give me more practical tools and less philosophy.
