Nichole is a contemporary romance author. When she isn't writing, she's chasing her four children around. Writing has always been her aspiration but it wasn't until her husband suggested she actually follow dreams that she took the biggest step. Her debut novel, Cold and Broken exceeded her expectations and she can't wait to share more of the stories taking up space in her mind.

Her other hobbies include baking, listening to music, and reading. She also has an obsession with true crime podcasts and cheesy 80s movies.

Meet Brody, the bad boy ice-hockey player who's in the coaches bad books, and Abby, the hardworking ice-skater and oerson in charge of his redemption.

Abby is working hard, determined to make the Olympics on her own merit. With her mum and stepfather toy unsupportive unless it's of the monetary type, there's still always an agenda in exchange.

When Brody realises to get off the bench and back onto the team he needs to work with a group of kids on the ice, he soon starts to thaw Abby's opinion of him. As she melts into his arms, suspicions arise about her stepfather conduct and accusations are made. Can Abby & Brody be bought? Or will they rise from the ashes of scandal and rock the ice together?

Well they started having sex at the 25% mark and they didn't ever stop. Seriously, I was like every other chapter. And I'm all for spice in a book, but my god, give me a little bit of plot, maybe some actual relationship building.

This was just self-published Wattpad, and that's not a terrible thing, but this isn't a literary masterpiece. It was okay. The characters were decently fleshed out. Their relationship was weakly built at best. I just didn't get any chemistry from them beyond the bed.

I'm not mad about this book. I'm honestly just disappointed.
