When my childhood best friend’s dad, who I’ve had far too many secret fantasies about, walks into the diner where I waitress and hits on me, I have two options:
Point out our unfortunate connection and that if he hadn’t been such a workaholic and absent father while his daughter was growing up, he might have recognized me. OR Take advantage of the fact that I was a late bloomer who didn’t fully develop until after high school, and play along.
And as a bonus, because of course I went with option two -- our seductive banter isn’t limited to the two of us -- since his super hot surgeon friend is just as naughty.
Nothing like good, naughty (nothing will come of it, right?), fun.
Except they come back, and I’m not any more able to make a good choice this time than the day before.
If you love dirty-talking men who have over-the-top ideas of how to please their woman and want to give her babies, let these guys heat you up!

Each stand-alone story delivers a scorching, fantasy-fueled romance! No need to pack a swimsuit - your kindle is all you need for a wet and wild summer!
Sylvie Haas obsesses over dirty-talking heroes who fall hard and fast for the women of their dreams. And often you’ll find heroes, yes plural, in one book because she has such a hard time making the heroine choose one possessive guy.
On most days, you can find Sylvie with the wind in her hair, her fingers on the keyboard, and her mind in the gutter as she thinks up new places her characters can get frisky.
Sylvie’s books will always deliver a happily ever after, and even though they’re short, they’ll leave you feeling satisfied!
Caroline "Calli" Franklin is a trip as she catches the attention of Bennett Grey and her (former) bestie's dad, Roarke Shepherd. It's insanely OTT and combustible as these friends and colleagues figure out how to share the woman who drives them to distraction.
“My job is to make sure you’re both satisfied customers.” -- Calli Franklin
I can't blame Calli for not bursting the fantasy bubble with how she knows Roarke. In her shoes, I'd hold that back, too. The way the news is received is... I'm not sharing, but the results are mmm, mmm, good!
This started as a solid four, but after the halfway point, things became rushed, which is saying something for an over-the-top, instalove short story. Tying in one of the future books in the series didn't feel necessary or natural to the story and could've easily been done away with.
Don't get me wrong. It is mostly entertaining and the steamy stuff is yummy. Thankfully, the timeline as it relates to the first two books in the series seems to overlap appropriately, too.
I listened to this as part of the 'Eggplant Canyon Complete Series'. The narrators, Richard Domhain and Lauren Barrie, are fantastic in duet! I loved them for these characters.
Coz absend father must developed my crush in his two bestfriend might he recognized her.what abad idea can adult go far in thee fantasies.i dont like it.give gd advise to adult not these

Heat Stroked, Book 3 of the Eggplant Canyon series (this book was also a part of the Filthy, Dirty Summer series), was about 22-year-old Caroline "Callie" Franklin, a waitress at a local diner, 43-year-old Dr. Roarke Shepherd, and 30-plus-year-old Dr. Bennett Grey.
Callie had known Roarke for years, having grown up as the (former) BFF to his daughter. However, she and Madi had a fallout during their senior year in high school and hadn't spoken since. Add the fact that Calli and been a late bloomer and gone through quite a few changes in four years, Roarke didn't recognize her. So when he and Bennett started meeting at the diner where she worked, it was easy for her to not set him straight. Until things got serious between the three of them and she no longer felt right hiding her identity from them. Once she confessed her past relationship with his daughter, they all agreed that it didn't matter when it came to how they felt about each other.
This story moved at a more rapid pace than the previous book and it felt incomplete. Some of that had to do with the fact that Roarke's daughter was the FMC in Book 1 of the series, so a lot of information was given in that story and left out of this one to keep from spoiling either one. Still, it felt as if something was missing and that kept the flow of the story from moving smoothly. The angst and drama levels were a bit higher in this story, but the spiciness was a touch flat, unfortunately. While there was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, it had only one or two twists that pretty much got tossed out before they could even be properly addressed.
All three main characters were well-developed and mature, with plenty of room for growth. They had a small amount of push/pull between them, and the conflict level was almost obsolete, to the point that it died out before it was even started.
I only gave this a three-star rating because it didn't earn anything higher. While it was a decent story, the lack of grit made it more than a little disappointing.
Caroline, the female lead, is surprised when Roarke, one of the male leads and her ex-best friend’s father, flirts with her when she waitresses his table. He and Bennett, the other male lead and Roarke’s colleague, want her to be in a ménage relationship with them. She thought they wanted a one off. Her family history hasn’t been kind and she doesn’t expect life to treat her well. Now they just need to convince her of their sincerity and that she’s a vital part of their lives.
This novella is tri POV, well written, and an interconnected standalone which is best read after the first in the Eggplant Canyon series. I enjoyed the way the men build Caroline’s self esteem, and that they pursued her even after she initially shied away. I appreciated that she pushed for Roarke to tell his daughter about them, that she wasn’t content to be a longterm secret. I enjoyed the intimate scenes as well and appreciated how distinct the male characters were, each with their own issues to work through.

If you’re looking for a spicy, taboo, age-gap, quick read, this book is for you. 3 stars.
I am really enjoying this series about the Eggplant canyon and the multiple couples relationships unfolding. This story is about Caroline who works at the diner as a waitress, she has always been in love with her best friends father Rourke and he doesn’t seem to remember who she is. Every day they flirt with each other with another Dr Bennett until one-day both doctors ask her out.
Caroline rejects their invitation to go out for drinks, but when she’s walking home from work Rourke sees her stumble and she breaks her shoe, he takes her home and this is the start of their amazing relationship where she gets to call him daddy and Bennett is just Bennett. Caroline, Rourke and Bennett start their relationship with both men wanting to put a baby in her and give her everything she has ever wanted. There is a happily ever after with lots of sexy times.

Caroline didn't have much growing up and only had one friend. She knew how much her friend hated people talking about her hot dad so Caroline kept her secret crush to herself. Now she is all grown up and has drifted apart from her friend. Caroline is working at a diner when two gorgeous doctors come in and sit at her table. To her great shock, one of them is Roarke, her friend's dad and he doesn't recognize her because he is flirting with her. Both of the doctors are flirting with her. Caroline can't choose between Roarke and Bennet. She decides to makes some risky choices. She has to take the chance to be with her big crush Roarke but she also wants Bennet. She will be with both of them if only for just one night. When things get hotter than expected, Caroline has a problem believing that they want her for more than just one night.

In the book “Heat Stroked” Caroline is a waitress that flirts with two customers Roarke and Bennett. The men enjoy the flirting and invite Caroline out. Caroline would love to go out with them but, she used to be best friends with Roarke’s daughter Madi. Caroline was very attracted to Roarke as a teenager and is extremely flattered that he is interested in her now although he doesn’t remember her. After lots of flirting two nights in row. The men approach her and invite her out, she refuses. Later they meet Caroline and coax her into going home with them and Caroline begins a relationship with these two men. The book is quick read. It seemed strange to me that these men who had been friends and colleagues were so quick and willing to share Caroline. I think we needed more information about their past relationship in order for this to seem acceptable. I don’t believe this is considered a novella but it was quick and felt like one.
This is the 3rd book about Eggplant Canyon AND it is part of the multi-author series, Dirty Filthy Summer. It is a standalone in both series, but I recommend reading the EC book about Roarke’s daughter Madi and the mayor’s kids first in order to fully appreciate the stories and the way they reference and overlap with each other.
Roarke and Bennett are friends and doctors at the town’s hospital and rarely do anything other than work. Caroline has hit one of those exceptionally awful points in her life: legal trouble, scraping by financially, & is friendless after a fight a few years back with her BFF Madi.
When she serves the handsome doctors one night while on shift at the diner, they decide she has to be theirs; instead of fighting, they’ll share. They just have to convince Caroline that she won’t tarnish their reputations and she’s worth caring about.
I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Caroline, Roarke Shepherd, & Bennett. Caroline can't believe that Roarke can't remember her. Sure she looks a little different but she didn't think that much. So when he propositions her she doesn't know what to do. Roarke knows he has done things in his past that not only lost him his wife but his daughter as well. However Caroline makes him want to be different. He wonders if he should even be pursuing her with the age difference and the amount of time he still spends at the hospital. Bennett knows he isn't perfect that is how he lost his wife. Looking at Caroline though makes him want to be better. Can these three find a HEA or will outside people make sure that never happens?
Amazing story I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
2.75-3⭐️ Of all the shorts I read/skimmed this weekend this one had the most potential to be what I was in the mood for but it still fell short. I liked the ideas and the writing style and when there were steamy bits I enjoyed those too, but I wish it would have gone further. There was more story outside of the sex than there was time for in the length of the book, leaving all of those threads feeling underdone. It would have served better to have more story or for my mood, less with more heat. I know it is an instalove but that aspect really didn't work in the context of the rest. I am interested in reading more from this author, especially menage, and other stories are hinted at (and likely already exist based on how it seemed were already supposed to know the people by the way it was written, while also trying to not be important to render it a standalone - if that makes sense).
"This is all about helping you relax. What I want doesn't matter."
This was a great read. If you enjoy menage romances with a medical feel than this short story is for you. Caroline is working as a waitress in a diner when two hot guys come in. Roarke is her best friends dad who she's always crushed on & Bennett is a fellow doctor. Lots of flirting & dirty talking going on which results in some steamy action & them wanting to get her pregnant. What chance do they have at a HEA if they the relationship is not made public? I absolutely love this series & look forward to reading more from this author.

Caroline is a waitress and on evening her former friend's father and a friend come in. Sparks fly between them three of them as they flirt back and forth. Caroline was waiting to see if Roarke remembered her, but she had changed quite a bit. Its not long before things are heating up between Caroline, Roarke and Bennet. Just as it seems like they are going to get what they want Roarke's daughter comes back to town. Will his daughter's arrival have things ending between them?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I really enjoyed this little novella. It was about Caroline who is a waitress. One day two doctors come in and flirt with her. One of the doctors is her ex best friends dad. She has always had a thing for him and she finds out like his friend, Bennet as well. Roarke, the ex best friends dad, doesn’t recognize her. They start flirting and actively pursuing her. That is all the details I will give you. I enjoyed the book. I wish there was more smutt and that it was longer but it was still a good short book.

Hot and steamy RH action! Caroline/Calli (h) flirts with two hot doctors, Roarke (H) and Bennett (H), sitting in her area at the diner she works in. She realizes she really should tell Roarke that she was once his daughter's high school friend, but the developing relationship with the man she crushed on for years, Roarke, and his equally attractive friend, Bennett, is too much for her to do a lot of thinking. Truths often come out...fun to get to see other side of things from Madi's story too, Claimed by my Ex's Dad & His Friend - she can't exactly complain. Another ultra-hot and steamy story from Eggplant Canyon! Must be something in the air up there!
I really enjoyed this book. Roarke doesn’t recognize Caroling but she remembers him. How could she not when she’s been fantasizing about him for years. He’s her old friends dad. Him and his co-worker Bennett flirt shamelessly with her and she likes it. But being with both of them isn’t weight is it? And not telling Roarke who she is, isn’t right either but when she with them everything is so good. Until it isn’t. A great storyline and lovable characters. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to more in the series. I see there is already a book for Roarke’s daughter Madison.

This was a fantastic story. Well written and engaging. Super hot and sweet. Caroline is a waitress, 2 hot doctors flirt with her in the diner, she recognises Roarke immediately as her high school friends dad. She had always been attracted to him and took the opportunity to have some fun with him and his friend Bennett. Roarke and Bennett weren’t looking for fun, they were in love with Caroline and wanted forever. Very hot, steamy story with amazing chemistry and true unconditional love. The HEA was fantastic.

Wow, this story is as hot as the title. The characters do pull in to the story from the begin til the end. Not only that their is an undeniable bond between Roarke and Bennett they I love. Then you add in Caroline to the mix and it’s clear the triad is meant to be. I must say that I love the easy going communication between them all. It help way their foundation and further strengthening their undeniable bond. Most of all I love this story because it so full of laughter, smooth talking and endless possibilities.

A lovable and quirky little story of two hot Doctors and a young female diner worker. Sometimes a book is to be read simply for pure naughty enjoyment without the task of asking "how and why" and simply enjoying the idea of true love. My only issue is I'm not a great love of the term Daddy in stories but I've learnt to simply skip over it. There was a decent plot with just enough sexual tension and emotional angst between the characters to keep my attention and interest throughout. Looking forward to seeing who the next trio of lovers will get their story told too.

Caroline, Roarke, and Bennett for an incredible trio of characters in this quick taboo read. Caroline is having a bumpy way through life. Best friends, Roarke and Bennett's lives are really busy so they are both once divorced, but really want someone special in their lives. Caroline turns out to be that someone, but there are definitely issues that have to be resolved before their happily ever after can occur. This tantalizing menage romance was a fantastic read.

Caroline is a waitress who’s a bit down on her luck, feeling like she’s constantly making bad decisions. Roarke and Bennett are rich older doctors who frequent her dinner. Their attraction builds, but fears and differences have the potential to push them apart. This story was heat-wave-hot, but the ending felt a bit incomplete to me. Maid’s story was so intertwined with this one that it felt like there was unresolved issues since we never actually meet Madi. Still, it made for a steamy short read!
Really liking this authors work. I had initially read Roarke's daughter's story and loved the style. We get hints of these three from that one so I was excited to see them get their own story. I think this one fell a tiny bit flat for me but only because I disliked Roarke in his daughters story. Bennett just seemed like an eager puppy and Caroline seemed flipping between really into it and pushing them away. Four stars for overall heat between these three.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This short menage is a part of the Filthy Dirty Summer series and fits right in. When Caroline waits on Roarke and Bennett's table, she wonders if he remembers her. Imagine her surprise when she gets an opportunity to do more than just fulfill a fantasy of hers. The story is just what it says. A fast paced, steamy, age gap menage. Not a smooth storyline at times but not a bad story either. 3.5.

Heat Stroked by Sylvie Haas is part of the multi-author Filthy Dirty Summer series. This is the first book I have read by this author so I was not sure what to expect. This story is about Caroline, Roarke and Bennett. It is a quick read with a good chemistry but I would have liked a bit more depth to the story. Overall I thought this was an okay to good read, it just needed something more for me to really fall for this MFM romance. I will read more by Sylvie Haas in the future as I did like her writing style.
Eggplant Canyon is a wealthy neighborhood where the elite lives. Doctors of Peach bottom Valley are sexy. Caroline a waitress working at the local diner meets two sexy doctors that begin flirting with her. What will happen in the future for these three and the excitement that goes along with it .
