2.5 stars. It was a one time read for me. It was a story of self discovery in the midst of self doubt. I felt the protagonist to be a weak character who found it difficult to stand for herself.
It was not a very enjoyable read for me and there's not much I could express about it, rather than the fact that it was not bad but just an average kind of story in my opinion.
I wish I could have enjoyed it more. The story felt far away from reality and real people. But if you want to read something with small town and self discovery, you can read this book.
A New Love is an enjoyable story. It is about new beginnings, facing unfamiliar challenges, and learning to live one's own life, instead of living only to please others. It also is about following a dream and having the courage to make that dream a reality. This is a good story and has some good food for thought about making life-changing decisions. I recommend this story to the reader. I should also mention that because this is one of a series, not every issue is resolved in this first book, but it can be read as a stand-alone novel.
I finished this book last week and forgot to come back and write a review. It was sort of boring and honestly forgettable.
I have the third book marked as want to read for some reason, so I thought I would read the first two and make my way there. But now I’m not so sure if I’ll continue on.
A love story and a mystery all wrapped up into a series is the vibe I’m getting from the first book.
I don’t know - sort of boring and bland. 2.5 stars ⭐️⭐️💫
[dnf @ 28%] i was kind of bored... additionally i didn't know the series comes in a set of 5 books (double check the author's website), way too much if i am bored at book one.
