A very cool collection of photos of guitar legends doing their beautiful thing on stage or in studio, accompanied by some choice quotes from each. The book features many different guitarists, who all have their own take on this perfect instrument. Read straight through in one sitting. Loved it.

Clearly, Neil Zlozower has the skill set, and the love, to get iconic photographs of guitarists - either live in concert or relaxed portrait shots. A wide range of styles are covered throughout (though the emphasis is clearly on Rock) and an impressive array of guitarist are included. It was a joy to see the main influences of my own playing covered: Alan Holdsworth, Pat Metheny, John McLaughlin and Al DiMeola, alongside my earlier influences of Jimmy Page and Tony Iommi. Steven Rosen provides some interesting anecdotes/interviews - from many of the featured guitarists.
