A long awaited story....

This is story I've been waiting for, much of my life. I was always wrapped in story of great adventures and dragons all my childhood but no lgbtq heroes for me to relate to. This story but a warm fuzzy feeling through my whole body. It's got everything heroes and heroines, magic, dragons love and loss. A must read for anyone who was looking for an adventure story with heroes who happen to be friends straight or gay never matters the friendships over come it all. Only thing it left me wanting was more.... So may I have some more Mr. Wolfe please and thank you.

Overall review: This is a really fun ride in a really fun world with a cool cast of characters, especially Koto. Suspend your disbelief and just have a good time, here. It reads a bit like a video game with lucky breaks, convenient plot devices, etc. but it doesn't make it a bad story. I liked the pace of the whole series, and never felt like it was dragging or going too far off a deep end that I didn't want to follow. So while I could predict some of the outcomes, I enjoyed that and didn't have a problem with it, and I even got treated to a few twists I didn't expect.

Brace yourself for Book 1 though and an incredibly (understandably) annoying MC origin personality. if you are a full on adult reading this, you HAVE to remember this is an 18yr old kid, so his decision making skills will be less than stellar. I will be so real, I almost gave up in book one because this guy annoyed me so much. However, the growth of his character realistically spans the entire series, and I appreciated that in the end. Milestones felt believable. His changes felt believable in part because he was SO immature and aggravating at the start. and that was believable too because of his age and life up to that point. So my irritation isn't a knock on the story, it was just so. so. annoying lol

Allow yourself to relax with this journey, focus on the other characters and enjoy the world building when Tyler is too much. He's just got a lot of growing to do. The story and adventure will deliver if you're patient.

At the end, I'm wishing there was a fourth book because I'd love to see the journey continue after all this evolution. Also I enjoyed the cast so much, I'm sorry to see them go. Even Tyler, that little snot. He grows on you like a mushroom. If you know, you know. ;)

and random thought, if the Author ever sees this, it would be so cool to see future adventures from some of the other character POVs. I kept wishing I could hear Koto's thoughts, not a criticism, just something neat I'd love to see!

I read a lot of portal fantasies back in the days when they were new and creative. We're talking decades here, when Dungeons and Dragons first took dorm rooms by storm. So I was quite interested to find out how a new generation of story-tellers would handle it. Based on this over-blown trilogy, the answer is - not well. I only finished it because a) I downloaded the entire trilogy and b) it was the holidays and I had hours of train travel to fill.
First of all, it has no business being a trilogy. Book 1 ends with a almost-literal cliff-hanger that structurally should be the end of ACT 1. Over-written puts it mildly. We spend page after page in our angsty, over-thinking, repetitive, and mostly unlikable narrator's head. Take that out, and we'd at least cut this down to a duology.
Second, the number of 'lucky' circumstances that hand the heroes a magical item that - amazingly - they need to get out of their next crisis. Almost as if the author were quietly playing an actual D&D game on the sly.
Third, the publicized M/M dimension is virtually non-existent and what there is doesn't even start until the half-way mark at best.
Fourth, and not publicized, is that this is very much for a YA audience, and not for educated, well-read adults.
As you will have guessed, not for me. But I did manage to finish, so I'll give it a star.

Beautiful Story

This story is done so well from first page to last, that you will find it hard to stop reading it. Character development was good though out aswell as plot. The romance was done in a Totally natural and Beautiful way that it makes you wish it was real life. You will love, laugh, be happy and sad- you will be anxious and b tense as you read. But above All you will enjoy and not want to leave this beautiful family by choice.

Some stories feel like coming home to a place you've never been. The Tales of Bramoria is one of those rare ones-woven with magic, friendship, and courage, but also hearts like mine finally written into the adventure. Every bond feels real, every emotion rings true.

It reminded me that the best stories aren't about who we love, but how we love-and what we're willing to fight for. I wasn't ready to leave Bramoria behind.

Good read.

I absolutely loved this series. Magic, dragons and a pinch of romance.
I didn’t like Tyler at first but by the end I loved him especially with Koto they fit perfectly together. I’d love to see more of these characters but I’m happy how it ended.

This is a good book series, but of it's set in a different world where they don't know cell phones or TV, how do they know slang and the F-word?
The story is good, slow parts in it at times. Decent character development.
If you like fantasy, you'll get that.

Thoroughly enjoyed this series. The main character certainly starts out very obnoxious, but he has some good growth. Loved the fantasy elements and the slow-burn romance, which I felt was done well. Will be checking out more of Blake’s work for sure.

I only read the first of the three books in this set and couldn’t motivate myself enough to read the other two.
