The Treasure Map Mishap is a stand-alone novella in the Jericho Falls Cozy Mystery world. Enjoy getting to know the tourist town’s loveable characters as they solve a tricky puzzle in this autumn adventure.
Brook Peterson has been a mystery fan since the age of nine when she discovered the Alfred Hitchcock and the Three Investigators series. She is the author of the Jericho Falls Cozy Mysteries, The Cameo’s Secret, and co-host of Clued in Mystery Podcast.
Brook enjoys writing stories that contain intriguing secrets, memorable settings, and a bit of romance. When she’s not reading or writing a mystery, Brook likes solving jigsaw puzzles, binging true crime podcasts and exploring the Idaho outdoors with her husband, their daughter, and the family’s spoiled pooches.
The Treasure Map Mishap: A Jericho Falls Holiday Novella (Jericho Falls Cozy Mysteries), my eighth read from author Brook Peterson, one of my go-to authors! It was good to go back to Jericho Falls and the town's familiar characters. Well-written (as always) and enjoyable, I wanted to get it read before reading An Archive of Lies: Jericho Falls Cozy Mysteries, Book 4. “I received a free Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author and in this series. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
Enjoyed reading this mystery. Likable characters and kept me going till the end. Friendships are so important and life is too short to keep grudges especially when lies are believed and causes divisions.
