Rate this book
In the steamy pages of Coach's Studs, an enticing tale of illicit love and unconventional desires unfolds within the confines of a fictitious university football team. When it comes to hiring a new assistant coach for mentoring, Coach Aiden knows precisely who to reach out to—his old friend and former football player, now a personal trainer named Jake. Eager to learn from the best, Jake arrives on campus and finds himself auditioning for Coach Aiden's approval in a series of explicit encounters that highlight his impressive physique and athletic prowess. Together, they bring in a third coach, Blake, to help shape their young athletes into a well-conditioned and closely bonded team of muscular studs. As their connections deepen, Jake and Blake discover Coach Aiden's hidden desire—a fascination with watching his students undress and shower together. He's enthusiastic about getting his coaching staff involved in demonstrating how men hang out in their underwear, engage in mutual masturbation, or provide each other with oral pleasure. Yet, as their relationships intensify, they must navigate the challenges of balancing their personal and professional lives, including a rivalry between Coach Aiden's team and another group of student-athletes. With tensions running high, can Coaches Aiden, Blake, and Jake maintain their kinky love affair while pursuing their professional aspirations? This story is rife with intense passion, intrigue, drama, and suspense, keeping you on the edge of your seat throughout. It's a sizzling narrative of forbidden love that will leave you breathless.

Purchased the book after reading Dan's review but not sure i'm ever gonna finish it. Reads like it's a transcript of a cheesy 70's porn movie. Gave up reading after 48 pages (sorry Dan 🤪)

Boundaries blurred, and the line between mentorship and seduction faded into a haze of raw attraction.

Aiden McGuire played for three seasons on the New England Patriots football team as the tight end.

But Aiden’s professional career ends in a shocking injury. A former colleague helps Aiden transition into a new career—head coach of the football team at a very prestigious college.

But he’s new at this. And now Aiden must prove himself worthy.

As he considers possible assistant coaches—most of the leadership staff left after his appointment—Aiden secretly hopes that one of them could be more than just his assistant…maybe even a boyfriend.

Realistic? Nah. Not very. As real as anything in contemporary M&M’s? Oh yeah—arguably, more so.

Blake Williams joins the team as Aiden’s junior assistant coach. Blake is late twenties, so the student athletes can easily relate to him. Jake Martel, a former professional defensive lineman who is now working as a personal trainer, is selected for the senior assistant coach position.

Could use some proofreading, and some skilled beta readers.

The coaches all inspire the boys; many of the young guys wish to emulate the older men. And the players on the team grow much, much closer…

Coach Aiden helps with positivity and acceptance.

One of the highlights is the pairing of Hayden, the star quarterback, and Coach Jake. Hayden is a virgin. He’s very attracted to Jake; the older man soothes Hayden’s nerves…along with everything else.

Strong, vivid detail throughout. Nice versatility and variety of activities and partners.

The Lockdown Party that changes everything…

Themes of sports, athletes, teamwork, team building, masculinity, discovery (of self and of others), dominance and submission—without BDSM. Also locker rooms, showers, voyeurism, exhibitionism, and groups, trains, and all sorts of combinations. At one point, the jocks even turn the tables on the coaches.

The dads coming to visit the guys towards the end is another huge highlight. Although, it would be nice if this chapter were longer.

Poignantly honest Afterword that speaks to all of us as gay men.

“We’re lucky to have you on our side, coach.”
“It’s the other way around, boys. I’m the lucky one.”

“You did great, Coach.”
“You know what? This is probably the best damn job I’ve ever had.”
