In The Simpler, Slower Life, minimalist blogger Charlie Brown discusses practical ways to live a simpler lifestyle. In keeping with the Swedish concept of Lagom, the notion of living with just enough and without excess, Brown establishes that it’s crucial to know when to stop the hustle, and that, by applying this concept in your own life, you can simplify your day-to-day dealings and lead a happier, more fulfilling life.
In the course, Brown offers guidance on distinguishing between what simple living is and what it isn’t; how to personalize minimalism to get the most out of it in your unique life; how you can practically declutter and minimize in your material life; how tiny, meaningful actions can add up to big changes; and more. She also shares exercises so you can begin putting what you’ve learned into practice right away.
Readers seeking a practical, timely approach to minimalism, or looking to simplify and slow down, will appreciate Brown’s comprehensive, understanding course.
The Simpler, Slower Life: A Personalized Approach to Minimalism — Charlie Brown/Narrator: Lillian Rachel November 23, 2023
By far the *best* book I have ever read on the lifestyle of minimalism.
This author spoke to me in a way that makes the concepts easy to understand. I may not follow all the suggestions, but it made me feel better about some of the decisions I have made about my life and how I live it.
I may not do (nor can I do) many/most of the suggestions offered in this book, but it did/does help me to stay on track with the most important ideas of my life, which revolve around finances.
