This was a beautiful and compelling book that I would highly recommend. A must read for young people of color and my Jewish brothers and sisters. The book has movie reviews, poems, analysis of events, and documentation of radical organizations' internal processes. The authors cover the same difficult issues like classism, racism, sexism, heterosexism, and anti-semitism. But contrary to other books I am not left defeated, upset, guilty, or sad. Instead, I feel like the fire inside of me was given more kindling. It's not hope, it's energy. There's a difference. I move onto my next book reminded of why I am reading.
