As with "Mysteries of the Messiah", you are in for a special treat as you follow along in this five session Bible study guide concerning the Signs and Secrets of the Messiah or Yeshua. Each session focuses in on a particular miracle recounted for us in the gospel of John. But there is always more to consider other than the miracle itself. Each session has a guide for personal as well as group study. I did this by myself but can easily see how it could be adopted for a small group setting. With each session are three different additional studies that are mentioned in the video and can be done separately at your own pace. At the end of the book is a Leader's Guide which will give you additional clues on how to handle the material effectively. The videos can be found at watch.studygateway.com. Even though the videos are not 100% necessary it does add a visual flavor to the teaching that subtitles can be added to as you watch each one which are about 20 minutes in length. I love Rabbi's teachings, and it encourages me to keeping diving into the Bible and the accounts of Jesus both in the Old and New Testaments.

Always love to hear from Jewish people who have realized that Jesus is the long awaited Messiah. Rabbi Sobel has some good insights but often states Jewish tradition or thought as truth with no biblical context. It caused our LifeGroup to dig into these traditions and thoughts, so it was still enjoyable. His forays into he numerical symbolism of words and phrases was interesting if not far-reaching.

Loved this book. He goes a little deep at times but I learned so much and understand so much more about the Miracles of Jesus. When you read the Bible you "know" what the passage is about but once you know the Jewish background of that time you understand it so much better. Highly recommend.
